Pharmacist was extremely rude to my wife when she had simple questions about her medication. He continually cut her off while she was speaking and spoke down to her the entire time. He also lied about a medication being discontinued in an attempt to shut her up. We have switched pharmacies and will not be going back to this one. read more

This particular CVS Pharmacy is located on the corner of Dean Road and Lake Underhill Road. I found it relatively convenient to get in and out of and the service here was friendly. I had to pick up a few disposable razor blades and it seemed they were a bit low in inventory, but that could be just the current supply chain issues. I really cannot say, though I did not notice a shortage of disposable razor blades in other drug stores or in other supermarkets. All in all, I would recommend this particular location of CVS Pharmacy. read more

This place needs a recent review. The old reviews are old and outdated. Store- staff is super nice and store is very clean and organized. I really love coming here. Pharmacy- every one of them works really hard and genuinely care about our situation and us getting our prescriptions. They are treated like crap by entitled people with attitudes from the jump but somehow still manage to be kind to the rest of us anyway. I know they are grossly underpaid and overworked by terrible greedy shareholders allocating no labor to these stores even though they all need it. BE KIND TO WORKERS. We are all being exploited. We need to come together instead of fighting each other. The billionaires and corporations must fall. read more

Came for a covid test. Went inside to ask about wait time since the line wasn't moving. Horrible attitudes from the women in the store. The male pharmacist working was kind. One woman interrupted her interaction with a customer to jump in and jump down my throat with "you just have to wait". once i made it to the front of the line the woman giving me instructions got upset because i explained to her I work in healthcare and I know how to do the test. I was trying to save her time and her response was "why didn't you tell me that at first". I am on the front line of covid daily and still greet every patient with a smile. Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. My medication was out of stock but I was never notified and simply told it would be filled by end of day. I called to follow up and was on hold for 30 minutes before being told it was out of stock. I had to rush over to another pharmacy to get what I needed, and thankfully they were helpful. It was another CVS location & the technician said they've struggled to get in contact with this location as well. I literally had to drive in person to get the prescription released in time because I needed it that day. It's insane to me that it isn't policy to notify someone when their prescription can't be filled. It's negligent and dangerous. Will never shop with CVS again. Gladly taking my business to Publix or Costco pharmacy where I might find competent management. read more

Two times in a row now the same thing has happened at this Pharmacy. I come in, drop off my prescription, make arrangments to pick it up at a time that's convinient for both the pharmacist and myself only to arrive at the appointed pick up time to find that they never even started on my order. Why did I even bother trying to schedule a time that would be convenient for both myself and them? No apology offered except for a :"You're going to have to wait, we need to work on it". You know, I understand they're busy, I could see that happening once, but twice? and then what really upset me was that this last time it happened, the phamacist was being condescending towards me, like questioning whether I even dropped off the prescription in the first place until another one came up with it, flapping the familiar piece of paper in the air and said: "They never worked on it, it's right here." again, no apology. You know what; I'm done. I will be taking my pharmacy needs elsewhere. read more

I'm not got to lie here. When I first started using this cvs I had problems with the pharmacy but after I called the corporate office to file a complaint, this branch became a top notch pharmacy. And all of this happened 2years ago. When the pharmacy was always running out of my medicine. Fast forward to today. I called the pharmacy to see if my medication could be filled due to high demand for the same medication. His answer was "don't worry. We are only filling existing patients for this medication only. If new patients require it they have to contact their physician to be but on another medication" this is because existing patients that are on this medication cannot just make a change without complications to their immune system. So happy this pharmacy looks out for the customers it has rather than filling out a prescription for anyone to have for just incase they need it. Thank you CVS read more

First of all, to the person who entered the business page, it should be CVS. ALL CAPS. That annoys me every time I check in here. Uh, maybe I'll try to get that changed. And I am here a lot. Like every day some weeks. Late night run for cat food or vanilla extract? This is my place. (Seriously.) The employees are so friendly! After years of seeing the same faces they are like friends. When I was buying cough syrup one day the cashier asked which one of my kids was sick and she told me what was going around and gave me some suggestions. (True story.) I've never had any trouble with the pharmacy. They are good about trying to find less expensive options since my doctor tends to prescribe the expensive stuff (pharmaceutical reps aren't winning this battle). Overall, this CVS is awesome. The employees rock. =) The manager is kind of awesome too. The kind of scrappy skinny woman. I saw her sprint out of the store after a shoplifter one day like someone had stolen her kid's lunch money - they need to pay her way more. read more

It seems like the bad reviews are primarily towards the pharmacy which I'm not surprised to read. I don't even live in Orlando anymore. I'm here visiting relatives and for a surgery. Went to this CVS to pick up the script and the female working tells me they didn't have the medication on their shelves. Then I ask her if she can check with a nearby CVS to see if they have it on their shelves. But instead, she tells me she can't view it on her monitor... Can you have the decency to call? That's an implied task and part of having good customer service in your job description... Mediocre, minimum effort here. Won't be coming back to this location. read more

Terrible service. No one ever answers the phones. My son is a baby and they don't send the texts for alerts. They close 20 mins before the time they quote sometimes so I've wasted gas many times and been frustrated with this location they need a manager out there ASAP! Or close the entire store read more

The store manager had a problem with my situation, I was trying to get clarification on the makeup sale they had and denied me the saving and he was not helpful at all and rude! Saying his employees are driving him crazy and said it in Spanish like mocking the language. The sale was active and they had the sign up but the Store Manager did not want to help me. The worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. The lines whether inside or outside always take forever. Today I waited for over an hour in line to get my sons prescription only to be told they don't have it after they tried to tell me they don't have mine that they've already notified me two times of that was ready for pick up. I called my Doctor Who verified the prescription was sent. She then had to send the prescription a second time my husband calls is on hold 20 minutes And nobody ever answers. I call I am on hold for 15 minutes at 8 o'clock the line goes dead I try and call back and they say sorry the pharmacy is closed please try again tomorrow. We switched to this pharmacy because it is a convenient location to our house however I would rather drive the extra distance to get better service and know that when I have a child suffering from a double ear infection I can actually get what I need to make him comfortable. read more

STAY AWAY, STAY FAR FAR AWAY - PHARMACY I must be a masochist because I continued to use this godforsaken place as my go-to pharmacy for over a year. It's close to my house so I thought it would be the easiest way to get my prescriptions - that was a mistake. Why, oh why, they refuse to fire bad employees is beyond me, but these terrible decisions have made it legitimately difficult for me to get my prescriptions when I need them. You might be thinking "come on now, there are occasional frustrations no matter where you do business" and normally I would agree. This place is the exception, however. It's frustrating in subtle, insidious ways, much like having to always take a U-turn to get gas. In the past, my pharmacy experiences have been so simple. I drop off my prescriptions, they tell me when to come back, I pick up my meds, and go home. It's smooth, easy, painless. Not here, though! The lack of communication among employees is astounding. No one ever knows what anyone else did or said at any given time. Honestly, how has this place continued to function considering the level of incompetence on constant display? Several times I have been told that a fax was sent to my doctor only to call my doctor and find that they have not received anything. A common occurrence if these other reviews are to be believed. There is one particular employee, a young gentleman named Mario that works the evening shifts, who personifies everything that is wrong with this place. He is the laziest, most indifferent, and oddly vindictive person I have ever come across in a medical environment. It's shocking. He's a bitter person who takes pleasure in causing small disruptions - telling you the meds aren't ready, sending texts saying the meds are ready when they are not, scheduling a pick up of meds for a month out from when you dropped them off, etc. In retail, this behavior may not be a big issue, but when dealing with people's medications, it's scary. The issues I had today with securing a prior authorization were the last straw. I want to go back to the smooth, simple, painless process I experienced at other pharmacies. No more self-torture. Please spare yourself and skip this store. It's not even all CVS pharmacies - it's this one. **THE CLIFF NOTES** Bad attitudes, bad service, poor management, not worth the aggravation. It's better to drive a little farther than subject yourself to this treatment. CVS corporate should step in - fire everyone and start over. read more

Unfortunately, Medicare makes me go to CVS. The service is TERRIBLE. There is always a long, slow line. They have in my file that I don't want child proof caps on my prescriptions but they always put child proof caps on anyway. I called when I got home and this rude pharmacy tech told me I should have checked it in the store. They have frequently gotten the scripts wrong so I have to wait another 20 minutes for it to be corrected. And you can forget calling them on the phone unless you have a LOT of time to kill. read more

My rating of this CVS is considering both the store and the pharmacy. The location is convenient for me, as its close to my home. The thing that no one seems to like is how difficult it is to get in and out of the parking lot. Avoid this place at certain times when traffic is at a high. It's next to impossible to get back on the road. The good thing about this location is the Redbox outside. The store itself, I would give 4 stars. The shelves are always fairly stocked and well organized. The layout is pretty simple and self explanatory. There are a few excellent employees and a handful of ones that are just ok. The only issue I have ever had was that once I went to pick up a gallon of milk at around 9pm. I was doing some baking and didn't want to run all he way to the grocery store. I pulled a gallon from the shelf and the next thing I know, there's milk all over my hand, running down my arm. I had to go home and clean my watch immediately. There was, what appeared to be, a box cutter slit close to the top of the jug. Hard to imagine whatever employee put it up didn't notice. As for the pharmacy goes, I would give it 2 stars. My doctor called in a prescription. I drove over and they said they were filling it and it would only take about 15 minutes. I told them I would wait. The woman told me she would call my name out when it was ready. After 45 minutes of watching people come and go, and sitting in the waiting area completely nauseated from my condition, I went up to the counter. The man at the counter asked if I was picking up. I told him I had been waiting for a while when I was told it would take 15 minutes. He apologized and I gave him my info. Low and behold my prescription had been sitting on the counter, ready to go, the entire time. No one had called out my name. The staff was friendly but completely disorganized and ignorant to the needs of their customers. I overheard a multitude of issues going on with another man who was there prior to my arrival and was still waiting after I was leaving. I felt bad for him because they kept asking him a bunch of dumb questions over and over. The guy could hardly walk but they would constantly call him up to the counter to ask about other medications (that I heard him say were on file and they could look it up). So it looks like I'm not the only one that wants competent employees in the pharmacy... I'll still to Publix at Curry Ford and Dean for my prescriptions from now on. The store at CVS is great and convenient though. I'll continue to frequent for random, last minute necessities. read more

I'll start lightly first... This is the closest CVS to my house. That said, it's not easy accessing the parking lot if not outright dangerous entering and exiting. Our company changed over to CVS a year ago for prescription coverage and it hasn't been pleasant. I'm under treatment which requires medication daily; I cannot skip a dose as instructed by my doctor. Several times this pharmacy has been out of the medication I need - even with a text and phone call (recording) telling me it's in. Now getting to the Pharmacist; uncaring, arrogant and no customer service skills - at all! I had called ahead to my doctor to get my prescription refilled and had called over to this location while I was on my way to pick it up It was about an hour before closing). I was told by this individual that they were out and that he could only call two other stores... the stores he called said they were out and that he couldn't assist me any further. First, knowing the importance of this medication, I could have been notified in time to call my doctor and have the prescription transferred to another location. This individual had no concern at all for my situation. Interestingly enough, I call one of the other CVS pharmacy's in the area and low and behold they had it in stock... I explained my situation to this Pharmacist who graciously located my prescription and transferred it to his store. It gets even more interesting... Every time I go to pick up this prescription from the bad CVS, I'm told they don't have my insurance info or co-pay card on file and always wait an additional 15-20 minutes for them to process this. The store I had this transferred to, had everything processed; insurance and co-pay, I was in and out in less than five minutes! This may partly sound like I'm venting and to some extent, yes I am. I will no longer take my business to the bad CVS on Lake Underhill Rd in Orlando, Fl. I do not recommend this location at all! This place doesn't even deserve a whole single star... read more
