I had an appointment today, August 13, 2026 at the CVS Pharmacy at 120 West Parker Road in Plano, Texas at 12 noon for a Flu and Covid vaccination. There were few customers but even with an appointment I waited over thirty minutes only to be told that my original Medicare did not cover Covid vaccinations. I called Medicare support and was told Covid vaccinations are covered 100% by Part B of original Medicare. Even after I had the pharmacist talk to Medicare she refused to administer my vaccination. She recommended I have my vaccinations administered at a Walgreens Pharmacy. I contacted a Walgreens and a Kroger Pharmacy after I left CVS where they both were able to verify Medicare coverage for my Covid and Flu vaccinations but noted to their knowledge the new updated Covid vaccines had not been released by the manufacturers. I've attached two screen shots of the CVS Vaccination Scheduling Portal that lists COVID-19 as available but at 12:35 PM or 35 minutes after my scheduled appointment I received an email that stated that one of the vaccinations I scheduled was removed due an unexpected issue impacting that particular pharmacy location. Neither the pharmacist or CVS Customer Support ever mentioned the aforementioned email and I was unaware of the email because I was on my phone with Medicare and CVS Customer Support. Multiple calls to CVS Customer Support were useless as they made no effort to correct their error. They NEVER offered to contact the pharmacy today to resolve the problem with the pharmacist but instead only allowed me to file a complaint which doesn't solve the problem and could take days or even weeks to resolve if ever. However, I do plan to contact the Texas State Board of Pharmacy regarding these issues with CVS. I don't fill my prescriptions at CVS because of similar incompetence and poor customer service I've experienced at other local CVS pharmacies. I only made this appointment at CVS because they advertise that the Covid-19 vaccinations are currently available at CVS. Therefore, I recommend avoiding CVS PharmacIes and strongly and totally discourage and DO NOT recommend doing any business with CVS Pharmacy under any circumstances. read more

Don't take your prescriptions here. I've been waiting 2 days for mine to get filled. They haven't even typed it into their system yet. They are extremely short staffed. This pharmacy is horrible. I have been a customer of CVS for over a decade and at numerous locations and have never been repeatedly treated so horribly in my life like I have at this one. I will give you two examples of many: 1. They accused me of having an addiction problem and told me they didn't feel comfortable giving me my meds after they had already spoken with my doctor, twice. And, to make it worse, they said this loud and proud in front of 6 people waiting in line behind me. 2. This incident happened right before I left... while getting my many medications (I have an extreme disease but I look normal on the outside), the pharmacist decided to not only announce to the waiting area the medications he was giving me but also ask precisely what my condition was. That is none of his business. I politely told him I'd rather not say in public but she then demanded to know or basically wouldn't give me my medicines. I was forced to say it out loud.... something I am still coming to terms with. Needless to say, save a nightmare for tomorrow and go across the street to the CVS in Target. Do not go here for covid vaccines if you are below 50. Nashwa did not let me get my booster even after I tried to explain I was eligible and I had an appointment. She was rude about it as well. I was able to go and get my vaccine at another location without an issue. read more

I have been a loyal customer of this CVS for many years, spending, on average more than $100 there each week. As of this Wednesday. I have vowed never to return to this location. Here is why: A rude checker refused to honor a $10 off coupon I received in the mail because, according to him, it was not tied to my cell phone number I had entered at checkout. After a few minutes of him arguing with me about it, he said it was tied to the account number on my CVS mobile app, which...wait for it...IS NOT TIED TO MY CELL PHONE NUMBER! Think about that for a minute. So, not only does CVS have a broken app, but it is sorely in need of customer service training. read more

CVS all the way! You can get your RX, seasonal items, groceries, photos, cards, wine... You name it. It's a one stop shop. I have been to numerous CVS around the metroplex and all have been clean and customer service helpful & delightful. Can't say that about Walgreens or Walmart. Thanks CVS ;0) read more

*Generally love CVS stores/pharmacies* This pharmacy service is completely horrible. Pharmacist spoke LoUdLy (clearly aware of it) when I gave her my prescription for a new med & grilled me with questions about the specific reason I'm taking it- in front of a huge crowd! They always have a crowd because always have long lines, long waits, and then you get rude attitude as part of your service. I have to wait until I move into my place in Dallas to use the -one- transfer of my medicines to another CVS or else I'd have been out of this crappy, mean, place with the worst hours months ago! They were so mean to me 2 visits back to back that my sister called their corporate line to hold pharmacy accountable- as the main pharmacist was one of the rudest- & a couple days later that pharmacist and the other person my sister reported called me separately from each other asking why I call corporate, what they had done to me, why didn't I come to them first (which I had many times), saying more than once "I want to know what you think I did" & "what did you tell them"? This whole place gives me a headache!!! The store isn't much of one- def lacking compared to every other CVS I've been in. Don't go here! read more

The Target store is impeccable and the employees extremely courteous and helpful. The pharmacists and assistants are super knowledgeable and highly efficient. Great customer service and A+ on patient communication. This pharmacy far supercedes others even without the convenience of a drive thru. read more

I generally do not give poor reviews, but the service at this pharmacy is absolutely the worst by far. I've had a couple experiences with each one getting worse. The pharmacist is rude and seems to be put out that she actually has to fill your order. I've actually moved my prescriptions elsewhere. read more

The staff here is incredibly rude. I was at the photo center printing some of my photos and had them on a CD. I put that CD back in my purse and continued shopping. A manager stopped me by saying, "Maam what are you doing". I replied with, "Excuse me?" He then proceeded to tell me that I had put something in my purse. I opened my purse and told him to look through it. He realized he was wrong and that it was my CD. He did not apologize but instead got silent and glared at me. read more
