I've been a customer of this pharmacy as long as it's been open. The pharmacists are top notch. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I kept the medication, hoping I could use it when I was ready to try IVF again. Because of the emotional toll and the high cost of IVF, it took me quite a while to start treatment again. I now have two unopened boxes of Endometrin, worth about $500, and was told they cannot provide any credit or assistance, even though the medication was never used. I understand there are regulations regarding prescription medications, but it's incredibly frustrating to lose that much money while already facing the enormous financial burden of fertility treatment. Pharmacies that specialize in IVF often say they are here to support patients, but experiences like this make it hard to feel that way. I wish there were more compassion or flexibility for patients who have experienced pregnancy loss and are already struggling with the costs of fertility care.

SandsRx did what Walgreens couldn't - they applied a coupon code and got my antibiotic down to $75 for a 30 day supply. They have live customer service and an AI agent named Jane which I use for refills. Best AI experience I've had - easy, no repeating yourself and payment is on file. Prescriptions are delivered and they recently implemented a tracking service so you know when to expect the prescriptions to arrive. My doc accidentally sent my refill to another similar pharmacy. I got it changed back to Sands. Won't go anywhere else for these meds.

I understand that this is a business decision and has nothing to do with the staff here but lack of availability in a potential emergency does reflect on their overall customer service. In the months leading up to these business changes it seemed as though their staff had turned over a few times quickly, and they had rehired too few people that were never adequately trained. The wait lines for prescriptions got very long, and often times they didn't even have the medication that we needed and we were sent to another Walgreens location or even to the pharmacy at Albertsons across the street. These problems all added up over time and when they cut back the pharmacy hours we just left.

Walgreens as a company is a joke. This location an example of their incompetence. Prescriptions…read moretake forever to fill, they claim there is an insurance issue, when i spoke to my insurance there was no record of a claim being filed in over a month, then they wanted to what my prescription strength was (isn't that on the electronic script). and i no longer have access to their online portal as no one can figure out how to update my last name in their records at either the store level or corporate which makes getting refills very fun (my DOB does not exist on there phone app either). I have had it with them. I went to the Texas Pharmacy Board and their license has them in Dallas county, not Collin County (they can't even fill out that paperwork correctly). I strongly suggest that everyone who has had problems with their prescriptions at this store to contact the Texas Board of Pharmacy and file a complaint.
