My second time coming here today and got great service in the afternoon staff. Especially the charming helpful (Asian) young man in the front. Also their pharmacy is really helpful to answer any questions about any types of meds. read more

Here's an update from my previous visit at Minute Clinic (regarding one specific nurse practitioner). I was examined again but this time by a REAL medical professional and am told that my TB test is definitely NEGATIVE. Also, I was told that Carol Walsh NP should NOT have told me and claimed my TB test as positive if she wasn't clear on that. Carol Walsh from Minute Clinic also did not checking my arm correctly. This has been seriously the most horrific experience I've had. Please do not go to that woman because you may also be misdiagnosed for something that you really don't have. Kayla M. Tipper, the pharmacist, has an aura of general contempt, and it deepens if you are prescribed a certain medication that carries a stigma with less biased people. I only read a few reviews and one of them was from a woman who felt the same way because she takes a certain medication. This pharmacist is not subtle about it, and has no problem being unprofessional. But worse was when I was first I got a partial RX and told it would be ordered. I was told to call in 5 days to get the remaining 4 pills, and got them on 7th day (that can happen if a manufacturer did not deliver them, so gave benefit of doubt on that) But when I went to pick them up I left a new RX and asked RX tech if they had it. He said "yes, and will be about 20 minutes" so I said I'd pick them up later with the other 4 pills after another Tech said I had to wait in one long line to "drop off" and then go to another long line to "pick up" instead of handling both transactions at one window as I have at other stores. I don't live at that end of Quincy, so shopped for groceries in the area while waiting for the text to pick up the pills, only the text never came, so went home. Next day I went to CVS website and discovered that my option to receive texts was mysteriously shut off after it had been on for several years. I called and they said new RX was "in process" so went in for the 4 pills I could have gotten the day before. I asked tech to turn texts back on. I waited 2 days for the text and called when I didn't get it. Kayla, the pharmacist, said manufacturer did not have them, and offered no help. I was angry but did not say anything because I needed the script back from her. Any other pharmacist would have called, or at least texted me to tell me when I am 2 days late on my medication and waiting for it, but not her. So, I went back to pick up the original paper script, and when the RX tech asked her for it she looked in my direction and gave one of her disdainful shrugs, indicating she did not know. That tech conferred with other techs, had a giggle together, then asked me something impertinent, so in direction of Kaya I said, "you don't remember me calling?" and she said something to the effect of "yeah, and we don't have it" with another I-could-care-less shrug. Then I said, "something real wrong is going on here", and she said: with what? And I said" "with you." She did not reply as he eyes fell back to her work. I called her out for her behavior, and she knows she has a behavior problem, so nothing to say, and no need for me to elaborate. Rest of the store gets 1 STAR because they are mostly nice and helpful. Long story. I guess when you are told you got a year to live you take time to write things such as this. Braintree and North Weymouth CVS stores have professional people, even if they don't do everything perfectly. read more

Front check out is usually pretty good, although I feel they get taken away a lot by the dummys trying to do self check out and mess it up. The pharmacy here is awful and being a CVS Pharmacy loyal customer for many years, I actually switched to Rite Aid because this place has screwed up my prescriptions so many times OR WOULDN'T HAVE MY SCRIPT IN STOCK. Your a pharmacy!! And if my prescription is on automatic refill and I am getting a call saying my refill is ready, when I come to the store I don't expect to be told its not in stock. This happened 2 months in a row and I had to go to a different CVS. One time they didn't even transfer the prescription to get filled so I had to sit at the other CVS for another 30 mins and wait. If I could give this location zero stars I would. As a long time CVS customer (30+ years) I am completely disgusted with this location. Prescriptions not ready when promised or just not in stock. Driving there and being told the prescription is not ready is not just aggravating but shows the pharmacy is poorly run. Called the pharmacy 4 hours later, prescription still not ready. I want to complain they say call the 1-800 number, refuse to give me a name or email for contact. They took over prescriptions for a local pharmacy and can not handle the demand so they are understaffed read more

I don't get it the Pharmacy staff there don't understand English but you go to the wollaston one and there all American and don't speak Chinese which if you know wollaston there full of them. They should switch it up then everyone would know what were saying. read more

Worst pharmacy ! I am constantly having trouble getting things filled on time and it's always a process. I have a 5 am flight and needed my meds before I left as I didn't have enough to get me through the trip . Because it was right in the line of time to fill a new script I couldn't pick it up until midnight before my flight . I called TWICE to confirm it would be ready by then and when I got there at 11:58 I was told by a very nasty woman that I would have to come back at 1am maybe she had 40 scripts ahead of me . Obviously no one else it waiting there for a script . She was extremely rude and when I said that I was promised it would be ready by midnight she had the audacity to tell me it's 11:59 and I'm too early anyways ! read more

This Pharmacy is HORRIBLE!!! Every time I drop of a perscription and go back usually the next day, it's either not filled at all or there is some sort of problem. They still have my old address from 5 years ago and I have changed it with them MANY times! Why is it so dificult to call the customer if there is a problem? There is no customer care there at all. Everyone in the pharmacy is always miserable! I will be taking my business elsewhere immediately!! read more

This store is my usual, go-to store since I only live a minute away. And I've been a very loyal customer, coming here for the past 10+ years for all my pharmacy needs and other misc. items. All staff are usually quite friendly besides ONE staff, JON, and he's given me and my family quite a few hard times and bad attitudes. He's usually in the front, and I notice him being there usually in the later hours of the evening or overnights. Because this CVS is 24 hours, whenever I need anything, this is the store I go to for almost anything. So I'm in and out of this CVS at all hours of any day. This staff, JON, is EXTREMELY RUDE. He's the reason why I don't like to come here anymore and would rather drive a couple miles further, either to Wollaston CVS or the Weymouth CVS, since those are also 24 hours. Today, I gave him a raincheck for some items and as soon as he saw that I had a raincheck, he immediately started giving me a VERY BAD ATTITUDE. He started scanning items and then proceeding to throw the scanner down on the counter top after every item. At first he didn't understand my raincheck, when it clearly said 3/ $1.50 which meant 3 items for $1.50 total. He started ringing my items in for $1.50 each and I pointed it out to him to fix it. He started arguing with me that it means $1.50 each. I explained to him that's not what I got the raincheck for and he just lost his temper and cancelled my whole transaction very rudely then had to re-scan everything, in which he made the same mistake. I then had a coupon and he said he won't accept it, I wasn't sure why, asked, and explained that I never had a hard time using a manufacturer's coupon(which was not expired) with any raincheck items. He was very rude, slamming the scanner on the countertop, taking heavy breaths, sucking on his teeth, and rolling his eyes every time I said something or tried to explain something to him. This experience was not the first, not the second, neither the third, it's been MULTIPLY TIMES where this same staff has given me a very hard time, which is why I avoid this particular CVS, especially during any evenings or overnights, when I know from prior experiences that this staff is here. read more

The only reason I give this store 2 stars is that the store employees are great. Unfortunately the overall rating is dragged down by the pharmacy staff. I've picked up prescriptions here a few times. Once they were out of stock, another they were waiting for my doctor to call back. I completely understand, not a big deal, a phone call to let me know would have been nice. The other problem is the staff with their nasty attitudes who have no desire to help. I'll be looking for another 24 hour pharmacy to go to. read more

Found myself at the CVS So Artery Minute Clinic in Quincy on the morning of 11/16 as it opened. Was "treated" by this girl who looked high school age and appeared more interested in her hair, nails and starched white lab coat than my symptoms. I described my symptoms even suggested it was bacterial and figured I could use an antibiotic. No, no, no it's the flu she said and nothing we can do. A week later I find condition deteriorating, go to my PCP and find I have a double dose of bacterial pneumonia. unless you need a cough drop or bottle of Nyquil stay away from these kids and stick to the professionals. read more

This pharmacy just continues to go downhill. Never have enough help, if they don't have pills in stock it becomes the biggest headache to get them. You, the customer are expected to do all the leg work to get them. Was told yesterday that nearest store who has script available is in Dorchester and I can go there to get it. No thanks. Today when it didn't come in after their ordering it, I was told Dorchester doesn't have it and that I can go to Brighton to get it. No thanks. (Had to go to Braintree in the past also.) I told staff member I would come in and pick up a copy of script and go to another chain to have it filled. Was told that if it was faxed by Dr that I couldn't do that. Could only receive a copy if I had originally brought hardcopy in. Are you serious? Why is this because you had already put it through for insurance purposes by chance? Am still waiting for a call back 90 minutes later on what their plan is. Time for a new pharmacy for me! read more

The one and only CVS I ever go into. I'm not a fan of Walgreens or Rite Aide, so CVS it is. This certain location is awesome. It's near my home so that makes it convenient. In addition it's very well organized- I know where everything is which helps when you're running late. The staff is great for the most part. The one older woman who stands by the self-checkouts makes me feel uncomfortable. For starters, she will stare at you checking out- yet I have seen two people sneak in their items without scanning them so clearly she's doing something wrong. But then again, it's her job to stand by the registers. As for the pharmacy, I have not had many encounters. read more

I went to the minute clinic today and was refused 1 1/2 hours before closing time with only 3 patients being seen. This does not add up if you are supposed to be a minute clinic. Very disappointing. Pharmacy staff had no explanation of why it would take 1 1/2 hours to see just 3 patients. You should change your name, you actually take more time than seeing an actual Dr. with an established practice. I just switched my prescriptions to CVS, but re-thinking to pull them back out. read more
