While staying in Minneapolis, I stopped into a close-by Walgreens to get a few items. I have alway seen locations in downtowns and this one was right around the corner from where I was staying. I am always pleased when I am properly greeted when I walk through the door. I am especially happy when a clerk or cashier look up from what they are doing to acknowledge a customer walking through the door. This store, like other Walgreens is big and bright with clean isles to navigate through. This incredibly delightful staff was over the top in greetings. Happy to see a customer. Happy to help a customer. Happy to speak with a customer. I needed a few items ranging from water to shaving cream. They had plenty of items to choose from and I pleased that their house brand is a substantially reduced price and the same item. Check out went very quickly and I received the same cordial greeting as I left as when I came in. The team member behind the counter just personified the model employee of engagement, spreading happiness and loving to be able to help. Kudos to a wonderful team here at Walgreens.

When I need an item in a locked case, and I press the button, two or three associates come running with a key! What a difference from the one in Robbinsdale, which is in the next town, when I was denied an item from the case, because no one had a key! Maybe staffing is an issue with the Walgreens, and that's why a lot of them are closing. So far all my experiences here have been good. Please keep it up!

A large two story retail store located in the Target plaza campus (near the Nicolet Mall) in…read moredowntown Minneapolis, this location serves as the Flagship Target. It has an urban footprint, with shopping cart escalators. As mentioned, it is connected to the rest of the Target campus (3 city blocks) via skyways, which is itself connected to the rest of the 2.5 mile Minneapolis skyway system. Groceries were on the bottom floor (along with a Starbucks), with the CVS branded pharmacy and OTC items on the top. There is checkout on both floors. It wasn't too crowded, but well staffed on a Thursday afternoon, and was able to buy some items that we needed for our trip.
