Communication. I only had my prescription sent here because the pharmacy I normally used didn't have it. I was able to make it in to grab medication and was in line at 1:28 or 1:29pm. A pharmacist came over to assist and I didn't want to approach the counter as he didn't have a mask on but I did, I stayed about 3 or more feet away and gave my last name. He said he couldn't hear me and I told him I was sick, I gave my last name again. He asked me to spell it, As I was spelling my last name the paramedics at the drive thru (African American female with dreads) told him to "cut it and not take the transaction" he looked at her and then at me and I began to spell my last name again, and she said no, did the cut throat action with her hand and said do not start the transaction and close the gate. I asked him what time they reopened and that I would wait. He said 2pm and the gate was closed. They gathered behind the gate and had a conversation and laughed and she explained that she told him to close the gate. Convo was loud enough to be heard up front. Not sure what the interaction was about, but my perception was that it was unprofessional. At least provide a quick explanation and be courteous. I wasn't rude just didn't want to get anyone sick and didn't know until I was inside that there was a drive thru. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone but this is solely based on my personal experience maybe someone else has experienced better. read more

I use this pharmacy for my family's prescription needs and they are very reliable and prompt. Even when it is just the pharmacist working, he or she help me at check out as soon as they can. I really appreciate their dependability, especially during a time where pharmacies are usually short staffed and very busy. read more

Store itself if fine, but when I walked up to the checkout the cashier was nowhere to be seen. I patiently waited until he came back to which he said "b***h are you blind? The register is this one" (the one next to the one my stuff was set at). I silently moved my stuff over to the other register and he acted as if I was inconveniencing him by even being in the store. This had the feel of a very inner city pharmacy, although I don't consider Robbinsdale inner city. The shelves were short so you could see over them throughout the whole store. Nothing was stocked deeper than two or three products. The only reason I came to the store is they had a product in stock that wasn't in stock at any other CVS near me, and it was indeed in stock. I needed to find some 90% chocolate and so I asked where it was and the employee lead me astray. Turns out he didn't normally work at that store and when I asked again, he asked for help and we found the right place for my premium chocolate. read more

Absolutely the worst CVS. Terrible customer service and rude. I once waited 15mins in the drive thru and rang the bell several times before someone came over to tell me that the window was closed. I told them there was no sign, and she proceeded to tell me "Oops must've forgot to put it up." Another time I call told me they had to put me on hold and waited 20mins for them to only tell me sorry forgot you were there. Shut this place down, let everyone there go including management, and start new. read more

I ordered a prescription for my son last week, they didn't fill, said they couldn't order it (although other nearby CVS pharmacies had..) so I called to talk to them about it and they said they'd try to order it later that day, they didn't. I talked to another employee and they said they'd order it Sunday, because they missed ordering it from the previous week. I was going to transfer it over the weekend, but didn't. I called this morning to verify that it was ordered and it wasn't...these are necessary things we need to keep our son healthy, not optional and not something we should be out of for a week. One employee said that they were really busy and backed up that week. It's a pharmacy. That's a legitimate excuse? Go to the CVS in one of the Targets. They've been able to get it every time and in a timely manner. read more

I dropped off my prescription and the pharmacy technician told me it would be ready in about an hour, and it was ready in about 25 minutes. Both the technician and the pharmacist that helped me were very professional and informative. And after calling around town the price was the cheapest for the same exact medicine. read more

Don't bother wasting your time on this pharmacy. The lines are always ridiculously long, they're always understaffed, and the staff they do have are almost laughably incompetent. I've wasted far too much of my life waiting in line here. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

Ordered my rx refill online. Went to the address listed on the email and here, 4152 Lakeland Ave N - it wasn't there. Went to the nearest location that I had just passed on my way to wrong address and the only one in the same city. They had no record of my rx refill. Waited 10 minutes for them to fill rx - fine. When checking out cashier accidentally hit the $10 button instead of credit, so it thought I had given them cash instead. Waited for 20 minutes for them to realize there was no manager in store to void transaction. Cashier finally figured out how to do it on her own. Voided last transaction and rang my rx up again. Have no idea at this point if I was charged twice or not. Ridiculous. In all trip took up an hour of my time for something that should've been 30 minutes tops. read more

The pharmacy here is awesome. They get to know their customers and really take care of their regulars. The staff is off the hook friendly as well. My one concern would be how crowded it can feel. read more

I have been going to this pharmacy since it opened. Within the last year, the customer service has gone completely down the toilet. There seems to be issues with short-staffing and keeping staff at the location long enough to learn how to perform their job duties effectively. Minus a couple select staff members, they are always dismissive (and even RUDE) to me whether it be on the phone or in person. Every time I walk into this pharmacy, I feel as if I am just one more task for the pharmacy staff to complete. Not to mention I wait patiently for over 30 minutes most times, whether I drop off OR call ahead. I shouldn't walk away from a pharmacy feeling as if I have burdened someone to perform their job. I will add that the staff OUTSIDE the pharmacy are always extremely helpful and welcoming. I have not had an unpleasant interaction with them yet. The non-pharmacy staff are the only reason why I added an additional star to my review. read more

Seems to have gone down hill in the last 6 months... Called in a refill and opted to have them call Dr. to renew prescription. Prescription was almost out 9 days later and no call back from this CVS. Called them twice, on hold for 10+ minutes twice, finally got answer that it was not ready but they could have it ready in 2 hours and they were very busy. Went to pick-up 2 hours later and it was still not ready, only two people working filling orders, answering phone, checking out people and taking care of the drive thru. Ok they are understaffed and I needed filled so I waited. Wonderred the store doing the usual stops by magazines... sat by pharmacy counter and overhear what is apparently a very overworked/burned out pharmacist with bad attitude "we're going to shut the window at 9 no mater what...all these orders are going to wait until tomorrow... just before they started bringing down the window and i had to jump up and ask about my order..."oh who are you, I've seen you wandering in the store" with a "it's been a long day" said they person who said they would get on my order 45 minutes earlier...my reply was very loudly "yes it's been a long day for me too" It apparently was ready waiting for the pharmacist to verify...tomorrow. Checked out at 9:03 so apparently they didn't make their closing time. Moving my prescriptions to a new CVS (forced to use CVS via work insurance). read more

I have been going to this store since it opened. Service was always good and pretty fast. Last 2 or three months the service has gone downhill somewhat. A number of people have quit. Including the pharmacist. The new staff seems to ignore you more. read more
