The store was set up pretty much as any other store and it was one of the newer stores. We were in and out quickly so we didn't take time to shop around and see all the departments. I was asked by one of the young girls at check out to join the TJ Max membership rewards program. I said sure. Answered a few basic questions...then she said I was approved and my card would arrive in mail. Ummm what? I asked if she just signed me up for a credit card and she was like "yeah it's a credit card"...That's not what she said or implied, I'm pretty sure it's illegal to do that. When I told her that's not what I wanted, she said "it's ok, you can cancel when you get it". It's actually NOT okay. Next time I was in there it was same girl and another one same age being so short and unhelpful when I said I had a gift card....then they were speaking spanish and laughing and rolling their eyes, it seemed as if they were talking about me and other customers and other people working. It's very off putting, their attitudes. Not welcoming at all.

Whether you're looking for professional-looking attire or workout gear, TJ's has you covered. They carry name brands (and some designer brands like Jones New York, DKNY, Calvin Klein, etc.) Same situation with handbags and accessories. Sure, that Michael Kors bag hasn't been in Macy's for about a year, but what the hey, it's now 40-50 percent off! If you don't mind being a season behind, you can really score on clothes and accessories. They are generally free of defects, and are just overstock from department stores. Don't miss their luggage, fragrance/bath/skincare and jewelry sections, either, as you'll find some incredible bargains there, too. I'm a little disappointed with this location's shoe selection. It's the same shoes season after season, year after year. The inventory isn't changed up nearly as often as the ther sections. And that's sad, because in this one respect, TJ's is always the same place twice. I would love it if they started carrying men's shoes, but I am pretty sure none of the locations do. (They do, however, have a great men's clothing department that's almost as big as the women's clothing department.) One of my favorite sections is the back of the store, which contains home goods, cooking supplies, and gourmet groceries. It's always worth a look!

The footprint of this store is smaller and outdated compared to some other QT's, but they still offer all the standards and classics that you come to expect at a QT including the QT Kitchen, pizza by the slice, hot roller stations and self-serve coffee, tea and drinks. This QT is a convenient stop when I am on the road to and from Nashville from Atlanta. Its either one of my last stops or first, depending on the direction I am traveling. Service is hit and miss here. I have hit this location to and from on one trip and had completely different experiences. Never terrible, just noticeable. Overall, I enjoy QT's. We do not have many in the Nashville area, so I try to make it point to swing by when I am back in the Atlanta area.

Usually, at least for me, my decision upon which brand to use depends solely upon what lays inside the convenience store of that gas station. When in northern Georgia, I find myself seeking out QT gas stations when my car is telling me that it is time to fill up. The reason is, as stated before, what lays beyond the doors to the store within. Not only are there surprisingly good hot dogs and toppings on rollers, but a food counter, a long row of coffee, iced tea, and soda selections, as well as the usual gas station offerings. Service is also obviously a corporate focus, you are created upon entry and the crew works diligently to meet the customer's needs, certainly a challenge. I recommend finding one if you are in Georgia. I am confident that you will seek them out time and time again when in their area.
