I love that this location is open 24 hours including the Pharmacy. We needed an important medicine for my mom but our regular pharmacy location was closed. This location's pharmacy was able to transfer the prescription and filled it within 30 minutes. I greatly appreciate their flexibility. Now my mom will be able to take her medicine on time which will be much better for her health. read more

All I have to say is Armando is the best! We went in there to print some Christmas photos, and the printer was having issues. But Armando got us sorted out. Then also too our kids passport photos. Absolutely terrible pharmacy. This is the only 24 hr pharmacy anywhere near me so I have no choice but to go here when my children are sick after hours. The staff is rude, no acknowledgment, no thank you... nothing. I have witnessed the pharmacist yell at the girl at the counter to the point she stuck up for herself and walked out. I have been in the pharmacy waiting area for antibiotics for an hour. there is a girl next to me who is super sick with tears in her eyes who has been her longer. the staff is only helping the drive through window. it's 9:00 at night and not busy. As a fellow healthcare worker this is sickening. these people should be in bed resting. the priority here is messed up. Highly recommend never coming here ever. Worst pharmacy in the area. Urgent care called in 4 scripts. When we went to pick up they said give them 15 minutes. So went to pick up food and the there was nothing be car in front of them us and two behind. They are obviously didn't tell them to turn the not a spot a they could help others. Or she just didn't listen. Then they gave us a total for the 4 before we left. When we picked up there were only 3. The one I really needed for the raging sore throat not there they just told us that go to another CVS. Didn't even bother to tell us which one had it. So I must suffer another night until my hubby can figure out where they have it. I literally cannot speak. Because of my sore throat. This location is just treading water in the pharmacy. This visit started out great. I was greeted upon entry and the place smelled of cleanliness and flowers. The pharmacy is where it dropped the ball. There was not enough help in the pharmacy. The phone was ringing with three calls waiting, a long line building inside and people seemed to be moving in slow motion behind the counter. It took a long time to get acknowledged and no info was gathered. Others were instead pushed ahead to pick up that had clearly been waiting for a long time. The pharmacist informed that he couldn't give wait times and he was there an hour past his scheduled shift. I'm not sure what's going on here but it's sinking faster than the Titanic. There either needs to be more help or faster help or maybe both. I recommend steering clear of this one. read more

normally i really like cvs and always have good experience but today I was in line at the check in side and the lady at the counter went to a different line to help about 5 people before telling me to move to the other line to be helped and then once i got up she asked me to move back to the original line because she could not help me at the computer she was at. I was checking in for an appointment to get some vaccines at 3pm and she helped walk ins that came in after me before they did my vaccines. what the point of allowing appointments if they aren't upheld and walk ins are prioritized. i was not helped till 3:45 with a 3pm appointment. read more

I was contacted by someone higher up - Richard - and my story was finally listened to. I am not entirely sure if anything will be done regarding the team members in question, but I am personally so thankful that I was able to make my experience heard higher up in the chain of command. As I told Richard, I have undeniable proof that my prescription was changed on CVS's end. The indiscriminate deletion of every review I have posted up until now concerning the alteration of a schedule 2 prescription has been infuriating, and undeniably depressing. I have done everything I could think of - until now - to make my experience public. The personal hell that I was put through on behalf of the pharmacist in question, I would not wish on anyone. In short, I am now in intensive therapy to help overcome my egregiously negative experience perpetuated by a particular pharmacist and his unwavering dedication to lies, stubbornness, belligerence, and self assurance. My only hope is that this experience helps to prevent any other person from being taken advantage of ever again. This level of rule breaking is unacceptable, it can never happen again. If it has happened to me, it has happened before. Never again. So, my thanks are with you, Richard, and the rest of CVS corporate who took me seriously for the first time in a months. This has to be the worst pharmacy in SA. There were numerous occasions before this with sub standard service, but today was the last straw. My kid needed meds and this spot was 2 mins from my house. Showed up and there was just so many people, waiting in line, drive thru and on hold(since loud speaker kept announcing ppl were on hold). Stood there for a solid 15-20 minutes without anyone even acknowledging me. The guy in line ahead of me left out of impatience. While the guy slowly moved around helping ppl in drive thru and telling them it would be a 1.5 hour wait - I called another pharmacy. I would not recommend anyone to get vaccine here. I don't think they have trained staff. It could be very dangerous if one doesn't know what they are doing you could permanently damage your nerve. My daughter was poked twice as the pharmacist burns, Eldridge did not administer vaccine fully , unapologetically unprofessionally , said yes I have to do it again. This was my preferred pharmacy for years, but in the past year, the service, quality, and efficiency have nose dived into atrocious. They don't answer the phone, so don't even bother. Even though there are 3 techs and a pharmacist working at any given time, they're apparently too inept to handle a drive thru. I mean, all other pharmacies are able to have an open drive-thru, but apparently this is just too difficult a task for the folks at this location. So you have to go inside. The straw that broke the camel's back was my most recent visit, where I stood at the desk and the techs who were chatting refused to acknowledge me. When the pharmacist told them to help me, they laughed at him! Of course my prescription wasn't ready even though it had been hours. Just a horrible pharmacy that needs to be shut down. We've transferred all prescriptions to the HEB on Bulverde/1604, which I highly recommend. read more

This is possible the worst CVS in the state of Texas! After waiting 20 minutes at the pharmacy drive thru with nothing more than a "I'll be right with you" (to pick up a prescription that should have been ready the day before), I finally left and hoped someone would actually be working when I stopped back later. Unfortunately, the same clerk was working (receipt said David). He was about the rudest person I've ever met. Completely ignored me at the drive thru the first time and this time was only slightly better. Not a please, thank you or kiss my a**, only name and date of birth and told me the price. Got my card, slammed the drawer, returned my card, slammed the drawer, turned and walked away. Needless to say, I will be using a different pharmacy going forward. The first time I saw this guy, on a different visit, I thought maybe he was just having a bad day. I'd give it negative stars if I could. Pharmacy staff is beyond rude. I went up to the pharmacy counter and waited for someone to acknowledge me. Even though there were two men there, they never did. I said "excuse me" and waited. Said it again and still no acknowledgement. Neither of those men even looked my way. I finally pulled my mask down and said "CAN YALL NOT HEAR ME?" One man continued to ignore me and the other one finally answered me. My kid is sick, I just needed to know where something was located. This is my second experience with the notoriously rude pharmacy tech and I've seen many other reviews mention him (and others). Avoid if you can. My hospital sent over the prescriptions almost 6 hours ago and once I come to pick it up, they say they're just getting started with it now. I am the only person here. They also talk about personal issues in front of customers and there is completely no sense of urgency. I'm the most patient person ever but coming to this CVS has changed me which sucks. I have everyone beat! I was on hold for an hour and when they finally picked up, they just hung up. Called back again to see if anyone would answer. Stayed on hold for an hour and 31 mins and nobody ever answered phone. Had to call front of store to make sure phones we're working. This cvs used to be good. A lot of new staff and shitty service now. I'm in line now and I can hear the phone just ringing and nobody even bothering to at least answer and let people know they are busy. Horrible service. If I could give negative reviews I would. Went to pick up an RX for my Mother in law two hours after it was sent to this location. They didn't have it ready. They said it could take up to two more hours. Called and it still wasn't ready another two hours later. Three hours later, went in to pick it up. Still not ready. They said another half hour. Now it's 7 and a half hours later and it's still not ready. This place is the worst. How do you stay in business? After 7.5 hours she could've had two doses and feeling much better. As of now it's almost 8 hours later and still waiting for the RX. I've just read other reviews for this location and they're all bad. Why isn't anything done about this manager and staff.
