I love CVS and especially this one. It's close to my house and when I need just one or two things I can run in and grab it and get checked out in like 2mins flat. Prices can be a bit higher than Walmart or HEB but when you're a busy mom with so much to do, paying 50 cents more for some tylonal or $1 more on a can of formula is worth it!! This is also a great place to get cute little gifts or home decorations during any holiday. I made my kiddos little Halloween themed gift baskets last month and found some cute, unique items for each of their baskets. I can't wait to pick up some stuff for their stockings. I know they'll have some cute Christmas items and then for Valentines day. read more

I am visiting from Arizona. I KNOW MY INSURANCE PLANS. They wanted to CHARGE me FULL PRICE for a flu shot that IS covered 100 %. (PREVENTATIVE)The pharmacist said that it would be $33.00. He was going to check on my coverage and call me via the store intercom, when ready. I NEVER heard my name called, so I went up to pharmacy counter. I was told that my insurance wouldn't cover this, but I could file my own paperwork and pay $39.00. I said, "you said the fee was $33.00, how did it change in twenty minutes? I was then told, "Oh, I meant to say $39.00." TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and Extremely LAZINESS ON THE PHARMACY STAFF. GOD FORBID ANY SENIOR WHO DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THESE TYPE OF PEOPLE! This pharmacy is horrific after 8:00pn. The pharmacist don't pay any attention to you when you stand at the desk or when you go through the drive-through. Today I stood at the desk for 15 minutes while two pharmacists actively ignored me. I decided maybe going through the drive-through might work. I sat in the drive-through for 18 minutes before anyone said anything to me. One pharmacist was helping someone on the phone and the other was just sitting at a computer looking at stuff - barely moving. It's so frustrating. This is by far the worst CVS. The customer service is terrible. I went online and placed my refill around 1ish. The order was said to be done that day at 6 pm. I go to cvs at 7. The drive thru is closed (which I thought was 24/7????? ) I go inside to a long line at the pharmacy wait and give the guy my information. He is super rude the whole time. Your name is what? Your date of birth is what? What?? He looks tired and just out of it. He doesn't even greet me, he just looks over the day. So I'm waiting for feedback and the guy says it will be a two hour wait. I'd leave zero. But that's not an option. The pharmacy is the all time worst. I've never had my Rx ready unless. I go in at least an extra time. I've had them tell me it would be ready in an hour. Absolutely terrible, terrible, terrible pharmacy. I chose this pharmacy out of sheer convenience and now go out of my way to go somewhere else. Lets see.. I've had these people ARGUE with me over whether or not my prescription was a 3-month supply.. when it clearly said it on the RX paper.. and only agreed with me after someone else working there pointed it out. I CONSTANTLY asked for all but 1 of my prescriptions to NOT be on auto-renew, yet every month I had to remind them to take them off of auto-renew. One of my prescriptions I would constantly have to wait for because they never kept it in stock, despite it being a pretty common drug. More recently and the final straw that broke the camel's back was I ordered said prescription drug that they never keep in stock (3) days before I actually needed it because thats how I've always done it. I order it, they tell me its not in stock, they order it and I get it (2) days later. So I order it on a Tuesday.. I get a message that it wasn't in stock and they would have it by Friday on Wednesday morning.. Friday comes and no word from them.. So I called them and they tell me that they still have not received it and they were hoping to get it by Monday. I needed the drug by Sunday at the latest. I agreed. Monday came and no word from them. I call and they told me that they still have not received it and have no idea when its coming in because it is on back order. They asked me if I wanted them to call around to other pharmacies to see if anybody close by had it, and I said absolutely. Never heard back from them. Glad to know that they really care about those of us who rely on their service. I couldn't run fast enough to HEB Pharmacy on 1604 & 281. Who had this elusive drug that CVS was always ordering.. I just got off the phone with the pharmacy and the male I was speaking to was so extremely rude! I have been receiving my prescriptions at this CVS for years. I had a general question about the brand of medication they had. I have muscular dystrophy so I have asked this question before, if I had asked about a different medication I'm sure he would have answered. Instead he said he was going to red flag me for simply asking the question. Isn't that their job?? To answer our questions about medications unbiasedly. I've never had this issue before. Worst customer service ever. I feel so extremely judged. Raq, you have no idea what I go through. And honestly it's not your business, I shouldn't have to tell you I have muscular dystrophy with severe polyneuropathy a genetic mutation I was born with. I already receive this medication and was just looking for a drive through pharmacy. Instead of being so judgmental, do your job. Your job is to help people , not make them feel like crap. The absolute worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. They deserve negative stars. They're impossible to get ahold of on the phone, even for providers or other pharmacies. (Once I realized how much they sucked, I decided to have my prescriptions transferred to HEB, and it took them a whole day to answer HEB's pharmacist). They advertise as 24 hours, but when I dropped off an emergency prescription at 11pm, they did not have it ready until 9am the next day (could've dropped it off at HEB the next morning and gotten it 40 minutes sooner)--so they aren't REALLY capable of providing 24hr service. What's more, when I came to pick it up the next morning, they told me they had no insurance on file and it would be another hour for them to run my insurance card, EVEN THOUGH I gave them my ID and insurance card when I dropped off the prescriptions at 11 the previous evening, and they had taken them and at least acted like they were entering my info into their computer. They also claimed I only dropped off two prescriptions when, in fact, I had given them three. All in all, it took 48 hours to fill a prescription that should've taken at most half an hour (it was 2 prepackaged inhalers and 5 tablets of prednisone I mean...). Their nighttime pharmacy staff needs to be fired. Their daytime staff is not really better. And when you call them out on the inconvenience and irresponsibility (this was a real EMERGENCY prescription that I needed ASAP--I almost died from an asthma attack) they're rude af. I can't believe anyone goes here for anything. Don't waste your time--HEB takes Caremark and they've never done me wrong :) read more

Should've just sent the prescriptions to costco pharmacy in the first place. CVS pharmacy helped me realize my patience is a virtue but that is not one I want to do in the cvs waiting area for over two hours for my scripts especially when they don't even get the order completed. It took less time (45 mins)to be seen, treated, diagnosed, and given follow up instructions at the express clinic than it took for CVS to fail me on filling out my scripts. After two hours of waiting I was told my med was ready. I asked if they meant meds since I was waiting on two. I was informed no it was just the one. I inquired into why that was because I was told at the clinic I had two and they said they hadn't received two scripts and they can't call the clinic to verify if indeed I needed two or just the one. I told them which one was missing and they said there was nothing they could do but they did have the one filled. Mind you this is literally two hours after I arrived there and the script(s?)was sent beforehand. I drove back to the MedClinic to inquire about the missing script and the lvn showed me the confirmation paperwork that they indeed had sent both to CVS. The clinic offered to send the scripts again for me but I told them only if they send them to a place I trust and know I never have problems with, Costco. I should've said that the first time but they were closed. In retrospect it's better to wait an evening at home and get my scripts in the morning than to wait in an unfriendly cramped corner of a waiting area at CVS for an incomplete order that was delivered to me with one star service. read more

This pharmacy is the worst. The staff is lazy and move so slowly you question whether they are even alive. My husband uses this pharmacy and I have dealt with this lazy incompetent bunch of people for the last time. The drive through is always a problem. Cars 4-6 deep and at the rate they move you can expect to be in line a minimum of 45 minutes. This afternoon I went to the drive through. The lady is front of me was serviced. They left off one of the prescriptions she had left for a refill so she is going to have to make another trip back. I pull up to the window wait over 10 minutes and no one even acknowledged me. Finally a tech sauntered over and said I would have to come inside. The computer was not working. I saw them wait on a person at the counter so that computer must have been working. I had my dog with me so I told him that I could not come inside. He said I had to. There were 2 other cars behind me and another car in the other lane. So I parked my car and low and behold when I get to the back of the store to the pharmacy the lady behind me was getting service at the drive thru. I asked why they were waiting on her after telling me that I had to come inside. The told me to wait and they would be with me in a minute. Pharmacist came and helped. Telling me the computers were down. I said the lady in front of me was serviced. She told me she was not. I saw her. I know that the prescription that they failed to fill, was for a Benedetto cream for her husband. From the reviews you would think think the corporate office would be able to figure out they have s problem there. They must be as incompetent as the people they hire. read more

I've been getting prescriptions at heb for years. My sister has been getting hers and her kids prescriptions filled at CVS for years. I've always tried to convince her to switch to heb because i love the efficiency and customer service. She called me right now saying she was most definitely switching. She had the last straw tonight at CVS. On multiple occasions there have been times at this location that the say a prescription will be ready by a certain time and when my sister goes to pick it up they ask her to wait a significant amount of time longer. Same thing happened today. She was told it would be ready by 6. It was 6:20 when she got there to pick it up and they said it would be another 20 minutes. So she waited there for 20 minutes and when she went to get her prescription they said they didn't have her insurance on file and wanted to charge her $175. Mind you she just picked up a prescription last week. After finally getting the insurance fixed they told her the pharmacist didn't push the prescription through and they stepped out and needed to be found before they can take the medicine home. She is STILL there waiting. I'm glad she's switching but no one should have to jump through this many obstacles to get there medicine. read more
