I'm sure the pharmacist and techs are very nice people BUT, you CANNOT reach ANNNYYYYONE by phone EVER. It goes straight to voicemail mail and then you get a call back whenever they get to it. If you miss the call they tell you nothing in a voicemail mail, and you call back, have to leave another message and wait AGAIN by your phone for over an hour to try and connect with them, but don't you dare leave your phone's side, because if you do.... That's definitely when they will be calling you back. It's a vicious cycle. When I finally got in touch with them they said my medication would be ready in the morning. It is a medication I have to take when I wake up, they open at 9:00 AM .... Ok I can make that work. I go in at 9:45am and they tell me to come back in 30 minutes, it's not ready. If I could have called first I would have!!!!!!!! This is so ridiculous. Literally everything medical related is a joke. CVS pharmacy, BE BETTER. PLEASE. It would be really nice to not have to deal with the BS while picking up our prescriptions, when we already have to deal with so much just to get it prescribed in the first place. read more

Horrible Pharmacy would rather go to any other CVS. They were extremely rude amd unhelpful.

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have experienced with very poor service. No point in trying to pick up meds in the drive thru because they will literally wait on 5 customers in store that came up after you have been waiting in line. Not to Mention how dirty the outside of this building is, I can barely see through the film on the window. You will have better luck getting meds picked up from a 24 hour CVS. I have given this one several tries, but it's the same each time. read more

Don't hate on my neighborhood CVS, ppl! I like this CVS. Staff is always super friendly at this particular store. I get "Hello, how are you?" every time I enter the door here. That lightens my mood instantly. I signed up for the CVS ExtraCare rewards program. So I always get coupons, discounts, and ExtraBucks! I've gotten some amazing deals here on shaving cream, floss, shampoo, contacts solutions, etc. Price is probably a bit higher than HEB, Walmart and the like for the same item. But stress level is much lower! Plus if you take the deals into consideration, you are actually paying less. Take tonight for instance, I bought 4 Oral-B dental floss and got $7 ExtraBucks. I then used the $7 plus a $1 off coupon plus another $2 off manufacture coupon on a bottle of OPTI-FREE Pure Moist contacts solution, I only had to pay $1.5! It's like playing a game called let's see who saves more, fun! For some reason, I always prefer CVS over their competitor Walgreen. They are indeed CVS aka Consumer Value Stores! read more

This cvs has nice nice employees. The pharmacy is always busy sometimes there is a long line , but not in the morning. I picked up that the pharm tech advise me that we can get better prices using the app called RX . Pharm tech is always helpful thank you cvs read more

Any time you come to the drive thru to pick up prescribed meds expect to literally wait 40 mins if there is no cars and you're the first one. If there is a line just leave unless you have 2 hours to sit in the drive thru. I've never come here and spent less than 25 mins waiting after talking to them. read more

Management does not honor company promotions. I asked management about a CVS coupon and he said he didn't know. He had not read the discount. He decided to read it and still did not understand. Then we confirmed I needed to pint coupon on CVS coupon kiosk. I notified the manager the coupon did not dispense. So he said then you don't get the discount he said he can't just manually key in the discount?? This would of saved me $4.00. So sad since I joined their monthly membership. My local Walgreens does not give this type of poor service or attitude. read more

Terrible customer service in the pharmacy. They treated me poorly, would not help me and told me to come in to pickup meds. I questioned why since the person in front of me at the drive thru (I eventually switched lanes to talk to them) dropped off a paper prescription and sat there for at least 20 minutes. I hate this place, and I am switching all of prescription to Walmart. A person next to me (Hispanic) told me your always going to get bad service at this store because your white. That never crossed my mind until. I watched them serve other people and the white people were ignored and talked down too. Going to write their headquarters, my insurance company and tell everyone on social media. I won't ever shop at a CVS again. This goes to show being a disabled veteran carries no weight. The hard workers at this CVS/Pharmacy are great people! I'm ALWAYS greeted right when I walk in. Nobody is ever just standing around. There is never any idle time spent standing around. I cringe from the lack of understanding when I read the reviews on the pharmacy! Nobody places themselves in other people's shoes anymore! Imagine how many people come in EVERY hour DEMANDING their pills in 20 mins? I think until you've worked in a pharmacy/ anything involving insurance you should just self medicate with a "chill pill" people. Pharmacists are helpful, and the technicians work diligently to make sure everyone is served. read more

Service was exceptional on Rx and staff was extremely kind .. Minimal wait time

Have you ever had that particular customer with two carts full of product and a ton of coupons In line in front of you? After waiting in line for 10 minutes, I asked the clerk (short/ black hair) to call for backup. She immediately became agitated, and asked why? As if it was not obvious enough, she reluctantly made the call. Inexplicably, the person in front of me pulled her cart away with at least 8 fulls bags on the counter. Clerk proceeded to tell me how rude I was, and then passed me off to the Rick who responded to the request for backup. While I do not have a problem with customers who want to take advantage of coupons, this clerk should have immediately recognized the situation and that it was going to take a while, and call for backup. Rick made the best of a very bad situation. Seems like the service from this particular clerk has now sunk to the level of the pharmacy. Hasta la vista cvs on wurzbach. read more

Consistently poor, unfriendly customer service at the pharmacy. Every time I call, I get curt, rude staff with no phone etiquette. No "Thank you for calling CVS!", just a disgruntled "Hello?" They send out these nifty little text messages that tell you your prescriptions ready, then when you get there to pick it up they say you never had a prescription and to contact the doctor. BUMS! Really wish I could give zero stars! On 16 May 2019, I went into CVS store #7724 to purchase either Zyrtec D or Allegra D to help combat sinusitis and relieve congestion until I was able to see my doctor in Nebraska. I took both cards to the pharmacist to ask which one she suggests I use. She then sighs and asks "what are your symptoms"? I informed her of my symptoms and she told me that I didn't need Allegra/Zyrtec D, but I needed to use Mucinex. I informed her that I had taken Mucinex DM for the past couple of days, but I am out because I only had two packs of the travel size Mucinex DM from the hotel thrift store. I also informed her the Mucinex DM didn't have the pseudoephedrine in it to help with the congestion. She insisted that I just take Claritin and fluids, and continue with the Mucinex DM THAT I NO LONGER HAD!! I checked the box of Claritin to see if it would help my symptoms, and it didn't seem like it would. I just chose Zyrtec D and took it back to the counter to purchase it. The pharmacist, who is now eating grapes at the counter, loudly says "I just told you, you do not need this." She goes on and on about the medicine being a controlled substance, and if I just bought some, she couldn't sell it to me again. I NEVER BOUGHT ANY medicine that contained pseudoephedrine, which was the reason I was at the store. She then told me to drink fluids again, and as I'm walking away, she starts talking about me to the customer that was behind me. I walked back to the counter to try and explain to the pharmacist that I have suffered with severe allergy problems for years, and that I was following doctor's orders. I also explained that I didn't want to be as miserable on the plane ride the next day. Yet and still she went on and on about the medicine being controlled, and she couldn't sell it to me. I have never had any problems buying medicine, and if she would have at least checked the system, she would have seen I DID NOT RECENTLY BUY Allegra/Zyrtec D. I have also been in the military for the last 14 years, and wouldn't jeopardize my career for drugs!!! This was by far the worst customer service I have ever received at CVS Pharmacy, and from the other reviews on this page, this is common at this store. read more
