I've had their cookies (and Dubai chocolate cake) twice thanks to their stand at the pearl. I've yet to visit their physical location, which is on my to-do list!!!. They are super friendly, prices are sensible for craft cookies. I'm a cookie fanatic and while it's hard to pull off the "perfect cookie" these do very well and I'm excited to try more flavors from them. 10/10 would recommend you stop in or find them at the pearl farmers market. My wife and I stopped in after lunch for a cookie. The shop layout and decor seemed like they were competing with another big cookie shop. The service was that friendly, southern hospitality that I have enjoyed since being in Texas. The cookie we ordered was the Dr. Pepper. Something familiar, but new to try in cookie form. I think the chocolate cookie was good, but IMO, the drizzle was bitter and the frosting was too sweet for the chocolate cookie it was on. Been wanting to try this place for some time and finally made the drive from Boerne. I was really excited about the flavor offerings they had displayed earlier in the week on their FB page. We were sorely disappointed when they did not have the flavors we were in search of. The three we wanted were all not available. Since we were there we went with the chilled sugar cookie. It was alright at best. We were also there at a decent time feeling there was really no good reason for them to be out. My fiancé and I had found this place while driving around. We decided to stop in and see what they had, when you first walk in it is very spacious clean and smells delicious . We went straight to look at cookies they had to offer of course my eye caught the sugar cookie it was very good I personally would say it is better than crumbl in my opinion, the cookies were the prefect softness and sweetness. The lady that help us was very nice and helped us in every way to pick out our cookies. This has been my recommendation for people to try my sister loves this place now. This might have become my favorite cookie spot in town! This family owned business excels in making large gourmet cookies. I liked that even though the cookies are pretty big, they weren't overbearing to eat. The cookies reminded me of another large cookie place, Crumbl (my previous fave cookie spot), but weren't as dense. These cookies had a slight homemade touch to them, and who doesn't love that! To top it all off, they have a rotating menu, which means there will always be new flavors to try! I liked all of the cookies i've tried so far, but my favorite were the coconut lime cookie and the s'mores one that they had last week, which has vegan marshmallows. The inside is extremely clean, with a few standing tables at the time. They have a display set up on their counters that lets you see the cookies that they are selling for the week. At the back of their shop, you can see the ovens and bakers. They also had their restrooms closed when I went. That might be just as a precaution due to covid-19, or just for the day (not sure). I ordered 3 of the choice chip, 1 sugar cookie with buttercream, 1 fruity cereal cookie, and 1 s'mores cookie. These cookies are huge compared to regular cookies so the price makes sense. Terrible service. Server visited with 2 young women for too long while other customers waiting. When they left the server said the young women were with their internet company. Rude to visit with them while paying customers are waiting. There was another person in the store who did not step up to take orders. Maybe she just does the baking? You can't control who calls you or who stops by to "visit" with you while you are working however you do have control on how long they stay. Had been to this establishment a few years ago and was wondering how they could stay in business with only opening at noon. They have changed their hours and are now open at 10 30 AM. My first visit to the Texas Cookie Shop. I wanted to get six of these large cookies for family/friends and the "birthday cake" cookie look most interesting, but they didn't have 2. They told me they had some in their oven and will be ready in 20 minutes. I thought it would be worth the wait and it was! I paid for the cookies and came back about 30 minutes later. These cookies are soft and delicious. I especially liked the coconut lime cookie. It was not too tart and I think I tasted almond extract in it which I love. The icing was silky, not heavy or greasy. Every flavor cookie was delicious, and they are a good size- about 4- 5 inches in diameter. They were not warm, but I guess the icing would have melted if they were. They were delivered to my house on time and in perfect condition. Other than the gluten-free cookie, these 6 were the only flavors offered online today. Perhaps the shop rotates the flavors. We drive from NW SA to Stone Oak for these amazing cookies. It's 30 minutes one way! Worth it worth it. Their Texas Ranger is their riff on a cowboy cookie. So. Good. Many of their cookies are iced on the bottom with white chocolate or similar frosting/glaze. So. Good. We follow them on Instagram to see what's going on for the day and call to place our order ahead -- they they always have our cookies boxed and ready to quickly pay and pick up. After stumbling on a post or ad for this establishment while in the area, we stopped in so I could get a peanut butter cookie with a Reese Peanut Butter cup in the middle! The myriad of pics I saw lured me straight in, hook, line and sinker! My first issue was they didn't have any, not that they were sold out, they didn't have any offered on that day/week, apparently they're served on a rotation. Ok, I understand that, although the Yelp page didn't notate that from what I saw. So I asked " What days do you offer them so I will know the next time, or I can make a point of coming by then?" His reply, "I don't know, just whenever they decide to do them". Apparently they don't have any schedule for customers to choose from or make plans by or even place orders for? This kinda put a bad taste in my mouth all around. Either this employee was poorly trained (the other employee sitting at a table to the right unloading a box of "something" didn't chime in with any response either) or that's how they operate with no consistency/schedule. If your site has all these pics and some of them are seasonal or "whenever the wind blows" please add that addendum. My 2nd issue was whe was attempting to tell me the "how wind blows story", the phone rang and he politely said one moment while I get the phone. It was a customer that called to see if he dropped his license in the store, and the young man peeked over the counter on the floor, asked me if I saw a license and my boyfriend and I searched the lobby and couches for any semblance of a license to no avail; however, the other employee sitting at the table never budged an inch to look and that too was a bit disheartening. Not sure if I want to make the trek out there again in search for unknown cookie as it may never be seen again. On a side note, I did buy 2 other cookies for my trouble, a chocolate chip and s'mores. In my opinion, the chocolate chip would've been a "great cookie" if it were made with semi sweet or dark chocolate chips rather than milk chocolate as I felt it didn't provide enough of a contrast, rather just blended in. Don't get me wrong, the cookie part itself was very good, it just needed the wow factor that I feel milk chocolate didn't provide. I did taste a piece of the s'mores cookie (I'm not a fan of marshmallows unless their roasted on the fire and burnt) but it kind of tasted the same except instead of giant chips like the chocolate chip cookie, it had mini milk chocolate Hershey's bars, mini marshmallows, but no taste of Graham crackers. In other words, it appeared to be the same cookie with added marshmallows and chips swapped for bars. They only offered 6 cookie options: Chocolate chip, Ultimate s'mores, Birthday cake, Frosted Sugar, Lime, and M&M (if memory serves me right). So if you're looking for variety, not sure this is the cookie shop for you. read more

The ladies were inviting and friendly, she answered All the questions I had. I ordered frosted pumpkin & strawberry cheesecakes. Cookies were fresh and tasty. This is a small (franchise?) shop that is super clean with a nice staff and ok cookies. The number of options are pretty small - around 5-6 types and they lack some of the standards that one might buy for an office party. They do have things like sugar cookies and chocolate chip but additives (on the SC) make them less desirable if you are buying for others. The prices are also pretty high - $4.00 to $5.00 per cookie so be prepared. I can see them doing with with a base offering of 4-5 cookies then adding specialty options. I also saw a few very minor health code issues (no gloves, wiping face and hair) so they may need some additional training. read more

She exhibited intense disinterest in our presence and our need for help in making a cookie decision. They have core flavors and then switch out the other flavors weekly (from what I remember them saying) we ordered chocolate chip, sugar, cranberry bliss and pumpkin spice. All the cookies were tasty , the chocolate chips were the size of pennies and the icing on the sugar cookies were so sweet and velvety. The sugar cookies were my favorite, i had to try everything so it took a few days to eat them all. When I lifted up the pumpkin spice cookie it left a ring of butter, this place uses a ton of butter and sugar which is why they are so good. It's $18 for 1/2 dozen and $33 for a dozen . read more
