PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF. The whole pharmacy staff seems undertrained and lackadaisical. Waited in drop off line for over 30 minutes. They have no care or sense of urgency even when the line goes all the way back through the aisle. I would normally give this pharmacy 4 stars... but they changed out all the pharmacist and ESPECIALLY the new head pharmacist is SO RUDE!!! I thought I was the only one until my friends and my sister told me that since new lady - pharmacist they no longer come here. Now I'm joining them. Incompetent and Rude! When it comes to my health - I want EXCELLENT Service. I just left my number for Store Manager to call me to advise him of a very serious issue I just had with her- and my Rx. Let's see if he will return my call.... today I spent over 1 hour to pick up 2 prescriptions only to be told to go back to drop off window to have one of them filled! I live near by and shop here often. Customer service is clearly not one of their atrong points. There is no real place to stand in line. I went in there one morning to grab a few things for my daughter as well as get money orders. When it was my turn i was called up to the counter. The employee was having a conversation with another employee that was behind me. As soon as they had a quick pause i told the employee that i would also like money orders. She made it clear to me i was an inconvenience through her facial expression and her deep breathe. She then continued to talk to the employee behind me (personal conversation btw) and didnt start my transaction untol she was done. What was worst was that she then stared at me as if i can read her mind. I asked her if she need the money now or what? She then tells me no we cant start with out your ID. Well.... she should have asked me for my ID instead of staring at me as if that would let me know to grab my ID. Anyways, the whole experience was terrible. I get better service at the 7 eleven. And the employees badge clearly said shift leader. What example is she setting for the other employees? I will be traveling out of my way to any other CVS but this one. read more

Such a terrible pharmacy. They can never seem to effectively communicate with prescribers and insurance companies, so you're always left doing the bulk of the work in that regards. The line never fails to take an unnecessarily long amount of time, and the entire pharmacy operations are completely unorganized. They never fail to disappoint. I really don't recommend going here if you can avoid it. read more

If you going to stop by this pharmacy you first have to know when is the time staff members feel like they want to work because the last 3 times I've been here there's nobody available to help you, and sometimes rude. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. There are always tons of people working behind the pharmacy and it still takes FOREVER. My doctor called in a prescription at 11am and by 3pm they told me it would be another hour till it was filled...and they didn't call and say t was ready till the next afternoon! They constantly tell you something will take 20 minutes and it will end up taking 45 minutes or more and it won't be done correctly. I've used this Pharmacy for years and after years of mediocrity, I'm finally switching after today. The store is never clean, the wait is always terrible, and the staff tends to mismanage my prescriptions. This week, I've called twice about two medications from different doctors. Both times, I was told that the Pharmacy had contacted my doctors multiple times and they hadn't responded. I finally called both doctors offices. One said that they had sent a fax three days ago. They called CVS, which claimed never to have received it. The other doctor's office said the pharmacy had never called, and renewed the prescription for me right away. The hassle of switching all of my prescriptions over to a new pharmacy will be worth it at this point. read more

Great pharmacy. I have been getting my prescriptions filled here for the past year and the pharmacists there are always so kind and understanding. Some of their technicians on the other hand seem to be useless, except a certain few who go by the names of Pedro, Tippy, Nestor, and Kevin. Get either one of them to help you, because they know what they are doing and are always professional. If you end up getting stuck with one of the other technicians them I am so sorry for you because honestly they are all idiots. Besides those few that I mentioned and the pharmacists. Ignore those old reviews from years ago. The staff from back then is completely gone. If you only speak Spanish talk to Pedro. Not only is he probably the best technician I have here met, but he is fluent in Spanish! Please understand that they are a very high volume pharmacy that fills about 4000 prescriptions a week, according to their head pharmacist Gargi Joshi, so understand that if you come in to drop off at a busy time of the day. It's going to be a little bit of a wait. But like I said go to either the pharmacist or talk to Pedro for help! read more

I go to CVS last night around 9:55pm with my wife got greeted by Daniel at the front desk very nice guy. Went to the pharmacy in the back. Approached the consultation desk and I'm there waiting for a few minutes while I'm waiting a worker is there seeing me but doesn't acknowledge me. So I'm still waiting, I then made eye contact with her and that's when she acknowledged me and asked if I want to see the pharmacist so I said yes. She said she be right with you. So I waited then I asked myself how she will know that I'm here waiting for her since the worker didn't notify her yet. So I asked how will she know that I'm here. Can you let her know that a customer is waiting here please? And then the pharmacist comes already with a slight attitude and I explained to her that I have a really bad cough for over a month now and its pretty bad. So she said coldly said Delsym. I asked her ok, great where is Delsym she said middle aisle then rudely walked away. I then went to the aisle and looked and looked for quite some time with my wife and we couldn't find it. I go back to ask her if I can get some help in finding it then she got more upset and ask another worker to help me. That is when I said to her that she has a really bad attitude. Then she said "what" I said you have a really bad attitude with your customers she then said "yeah Ok" as if she did not care at all. Then she completely turned her back on me and walked away. I'm like this is unbelievable. However the gentlemen that helped me was very nice and supportive. Unlike the pharmacist who should be setting a better example for her employees wasn't. She was very disrespectful and prideful and lack to provide reasonable customer service to her customer. I then asked the gentleman who had helped me for her name which is Saima. I'm filing this complaint because I had a very awful experience with this CVS representative. I work for a doctors office and every time i call this CVS i have to be on hold for at least 20 min. Today i got a call from a different doctors office saying that they have been receiving all our refill request from this pharmacy so i called the pharmacy to find out what fax number they have on file for us. The person who i spoke to the first time did not know any thing and when i asked for the manager she said hold on and hung up on me. I called again and i asked for the manager, they put me on hold for 22 minutes and a women named Patricia picked up and said that the manager was on vacation. I asked her if she could help me she said no she doesn't know any thing and that she will have Tim The manager call me when he gets back...I still don't know whats going on and don't know where they are sending our refills?????????? read more

CVS is OOC. That is out of control for those whom are unaware. CVS tries to force you to buy their brand versus a Tylenol original brand. What is in the CVS Tylenol? Why Is CVS upset when you question their brand? When did the consumer stop having a freedom of choice? I have also noticed this type non-choices at Giant Food as well. REALLY? Generally when I visit this CVS I just go straight to the pharmacy and don't actually shop for things in the store. The pharmacy is alright, the wait is always long because they only every have one associate working at the register while everyone else just stands around doing other things. I would assume and prefer that the proper way of dealing with customers would be to stop whatever task they are doing and help customers check out. Other than the long waits, the pharmacy is pretty good. However, the CVS itself is terrible. I went in today to shop for some facial products and christmas decorations. I noticed I did not have my CVS card on my key chain so I called a family member and asked them to take a picture of it so the store could just put in the bar code number. I called ahead and asked them if they could just insert the number underneath the barcode since I did not physically have my card nor knew the phone number. The lady I spoke to was very kind and said of course. After I get there, I look around the store, grab all the items I need and check out. I show the lady the picture of the back of my card and she says "What do you want me to do with this?". Uh, excuse me? Long story short she refused to try inserting the numbers and told me that the ONLY way I can use my card was to use a phone number or scan it. She was very, very rude. I asked her if she could look me up by name and she said no. After giving her 3 different phone numbers that did not work she said UGHHHH. I then asked her what the purpose of having a bar code number on the back of the card was since she could not use it and she ignored my question and started laughing. I did not find this situation amusing at all. Once again I asked her what the purpose of this number was if she could not use to give me the credit for the purchase on my CVS card. Laughing, she said I don't know. I asked to speak to the manager and she informed me that they did not have a manager and that she was "training" to be one. If this is how a potential manager acts like, WOW. I was so upset that this lady was laughing at me and thought it was a joke. I said forget it and left the store. Why can't they use this barcode and insert it into the system? EVERY OTHER store that has a rewards program is able to do this. Not to mention, a bottle of Clean and Clear was $9.78 while a BIGGER size bottle at Safeway is 7.99. Why is half the size worth twice as much at a CVS? Awful, obnoxious , rude pharmacists. Rude to customers on phone. Refused to fill prescription brought in at 9.30 pm because pharmacy closing at 10pm. Rest of store and staff okay. Go to Aspen Hill CVS instead if you need a prescription in a hurry. read more

After two days and long lines I finally got my prescription. If you want quick reliable service go somewhere else!
