Had an awful experience here today. We went to buy important stuff. My wife was paying and i was…read morereturning some stuff, my son who has autism was looking at the candies near the counter and checking it, not even opening it. i was from an aisle to return an item, the in store manager yelled multiple times at my son, i confronted him as he was not even opening the candies and why he would yell so hard. i told him that my son has autism, but he was unapologitic and was even telling how an irresponsible parent i was. he was rude, unprofessional and did not even apologize for what he did. Other staff was the one who was apologizing for his actions. Worst CVS i've been to because of that in store manager. He's rude, unprofessional.

I don't mean to insult most of the younger working generations. I'm hoping it's a minority of individuals, but when it comes to being helpful, CVS is very weak. Recently, my prescriptions changed for the Gramercy location, which is closing, to Upper Rock. One prescription had no refills. Therefore, the way I understand it, they didn't have it (technically) added to their system? This is even though it was in the system of Gramercy. But, what makes it worse is the pharmacist would neither phone my doctor's office nor the Gramercy location to help get the refillable prescription in their store's system. Is this laziness? Is this policy? Whatever it is, it doesn't make sense. I should add that when I talked to an individual from that pharmacy a few days before and mentioned all the prescriptions that needed to be refilled, that individual did not inform me there would be a problem with them contacting my doctor. To highlight the ineptness of the location, I have requested receiving text messages informing me when prescriptions are ready for pickup, and I am not receiving them.

They have a great card selection. I always pick up greeting cards when I am there. They usually have my Hershey's miniatures which have been hard to find in the dark chocolate flavor. I always enjoy looking through their holiday decorations. I always end up getting a few for my home. I have the CVS care card, so I can earn money back when I use their coupons. This is a great CVS. But, I was really close to this store on Copley Place and decided to pop in. For me, this location was a bit confusing. I am sure if I shopped here more often I would probably get used to the aisles and grocery items. The people who work there were as nice as could be. They pointed me in the right direction and one person, even walked me over to the aisle I was looking for. Unfortunately, this store was out of both items I was shopping for. I did find a few things I needed. But, as I came up to the counter, I saw the cherry tomatoes that I picked up, were rotting at the bottom. So, I gave them back to the person working there. I hate to compare, but I really don't think this store is as clean as the one I usually shop at. So, given that they were out of stock for the items I usually buy and the item I picked up was spoiled. I probably won't be coming back to this Harris Teeter. It is such a shame, because my last review, was 10 years ago, but they had such promise.

I then went to the store and they said even though it was ready I couldn't pick it up as they have to scan the bag and their system was down. They told me i could use the app to cancel order, as I needed the item and went to purchase elsewhere, but there's not an option to do that. Only a phone number to call that takes you through a number of different automated messages that don't respond to input, and then a series of representatives , the latest who is unpleasant and has put me on a long hold (twice so far) as they try to unsucessfully reach the store. That shocked me to begin with. Although she was out of stock she recommended calling my doctor and having them adjust the dosage as she had a different strength available. I did as she suggested and everything worked out! She even called to tell me she received the script from my doctor and I could come anytime. I showed up at 5:30pm as she closes at 6 and she said you must be Renee. I was like omg hey yes I am! The pharmacy is so cute and so private you don't feel uncomfortable like at other pharmacies. I honestly always feel judged whether it is from a pharmacist or a pharmacy tech. Mai and I got to chatting about other medications I take and she said she would make sure they were stocked on the shelf for me. Wow! How great! I also let her know my troubles with CVS/Rite Aid and she agreed pharmacists shouldn't be interfering with what the doctors recommend. Love that! After a delightful few minutes, I was all checked out and ready to go and Mai offered me a drink! Like an actual drink which normally people would buy. I was like are you sure??
