I think this is an OK CVS. To be frank, I've only visited this location for one off items, and this location normally has the random one off items that I need. The prices are pretty much the same as other locations in the area. Actually, I have noticed that this location tends to have more BOGO items compared to my local CVS. Customer service with this CVS is pretty standard - not great but not horrible. Looking at the front of this CVS, which is in a shopping center, it might appear that parking is pretty limited, but there is plenty in the back of the shopping center. Absolutely the worst costumer service I have ever encountered at any CVS in the nation. The pharmacist had this huge attitude and condescending attitude. Absolutely disgraceful and seems to be personal against white and brown people. Though I don't want to say it, but it sure seemed like he doesn't like our kind and this present time we don't need this. The pharmacy is the closest thing to purgatory as you will experience on this earth. I only get prescriptions and vaccinations here infrequently, but every single time, it's a terrible hassle. Either extremely long lines at pick up, or mismatches between the text/online notifications and status and what's going on in real life, or they run out of the meds you need and never tell you, or they don't tell you a scrip has been refilled and is available for pickup, or the computers are down, or vaccines have run out even though I made an appointment a week prior, or I'm told a scrip will be filled in a quarter hour, only to putz around at Woodmor for 30 minutes and subsequently be told it'll be another half hour. Every. Single. Time. This place finds novel and frustrating ways to inconvenience customers. Be careful. If your prescription is time-sensitive (e.g. pain killers after outpatient surgery), I wouldn't trust these folks to get it done timely. I get it. These folks are overworked, defensive, and understaffed. The computer system is a mess, and integration with the online cvs customer portal is tenuous at best. Pharmacist and staff turnover seems high (always seeing young new faces). But that doesn't change the fact that if you come here, you're going to pay a very heavy price in time and frustration. Not my favorite CVS. The last several times, the door at the front has been closed and you have to go all the way around to the back. There is usually one employee here who is assisting with the self-checkout lines. There is a super long line there too. I don't always find what I'm looking for here. Sigh! This CVS is the worst!!! besides terrible customer service (Ana) the store looks like it was hit by a hurricane. The only reason I went there is because I got a vaccine. But since I was there, I decided to pick up a couple things I saw they had Gatorade 2 for $5.50 and they had Reese's peanut butter cups and pieces for buy one get 1/2 off. So I decided to get two of each. When I got to the register, it all rang up as regular price. I asked the person upfront (Ana) That for some reason, it didn't give me the discount. She huffed and puffed like helping me was not something she normally does. Then she proceeds to tell me that they are both full price. I tried to explain to her. They are not there are tags underneath each product saying they are on sale. Again, she breathed hard as if I was being inconvenience to her. I attach photos underneath the show the discounts that I saw as a customer and thought they were legit. I have know idea why there a price sticker's under items if that's not the price. CVS. Convenience Value Service? Ha. My passport picture taken a week ago showed me with thick gray eyebrows. I have very thin, sparse eyebrows and they are blonde. I waited 10 minutes today to find out what happened. No answer. "That is your picture." I am not going to live for the next 10 years with a passport showing me with additional eyebrows. Worst pharmacy in 2023! Lately, to pick up your prescription, you have to stand in very long lines. There isn't enough help at the pharmacy counter to ring up customers. Often there is only one cashier. Only occasionally there are 2 cashiers but not for long. I've tried going first thing in the morning and late in the evening. It doesn't matter what time you go, they just don't have enough staff to help customers. Sometimes there are 10-12 people in line. If you need to ask about your prescription that's another line and another wait. I have even had difficulty lately getting my prescription. It takes days for CVs to get my refill delivered to the store. This pharmacy is in my neighborhood and I have gone there for many years but the customer service has become so terrible, I'm going to have to find another pharmacy even if it's far away. They really don't deserve 1 star. If there was a zero star option, I would give them that. Find another pharmacy. read more

Would be an average store if the pharmacy section wasn't a disaster all too often. 1. Long, slow lines 2. Rude pharmacy staff I once had to wait almost an hour for a medication while being lied to about when it would be ready simply because the pharmacist refused to check the pharmacy voicemail, despite knowing my doctor had left a voicemail with the script, and instead the staff repeatedly told me my prescription was being worked on and would be ready shortly. The only positive thing is the front of store staff is really great. But the pharmacy section is a train wreck all too often. read more

I like this CVS! It's a bit daunting from the outside because it's on a busy street (Route 29/Colesville Road) with no visible parking but there are plenty of spots in the back. Although from the road and the exterior does not look very appealing, the interior looks new, well maintained, neatly organized, and ready for the spring and Easter! I needed to buy some report covers and professional paper and Staples all close at 6pm so I came here a little before 9pm on a Sunday--glad they were open! There were some youth hanging around the outside in the back where there's a separate entrance. They were shouting. Kids being kids. Checkout line was quick. Only one cashier, Felicia, at the register. Friendly and efficient. read more

I work in healthcare and this has to be the worst pharmacy I've ever encountered. I'm sure part of the problem is the CVS megalith that understaffs the pharmacy for the level of business. But the folks that do staff it are not problem solvers. They didn't have enough of a medication we needed and we're going to send me elsewhere rather than think creatively about how to get us a few days worth of medicine. This is the worst cvs you will ever go to, most of the workers there have serious attitude. But some of them are really nice that's why it's 3 stars. It's the closest to my house and it's a nightmare to go there and see them give you attitude, I go there to shop, spend money and buy things I need i don't go there to beg. Felicia had a terrible attitude before but the last couple of times I was there it seems that she has changed to the better, now she is a lot better than before and that's a good thing. I still dont feel good every time I go there for some of them aren't nice. But for the most part it's close to where i live it has pretty much everything and they open til 10. Terrible Customer Service/ Lack of overall decency I went to this CVS to get a flu shot and COVID vaccine/booster. I booked an appointment for 2:30pm because my cvs and any nearby didn't have any available appointments. I called ahead of time to let them know I was on the way and they told me "okay they will be there till 5pm and are ready for me". But once I arrived I found out they ran out of the COVID vaccine this MORNING. So of course I'm upset and I simply mention maybe that's something they should call and tell people. Then I wouldn't have to waisted my time. They then proceed to tell me they don't make calls since I scheduled both the flu and COVID their policy is to just tell people upon arrival. I then make the point that well if I scheduled both then wouldn't you think I wanted both. So a phone call would have given me the opportunity to cancel and schedule at another location. I then try to get the Flu shot only to be told they don't take my insurance and I would have to pay out of pocket. I then again mention well that's something else you could have called and informed me. Or you (cvs) should at least have noted when signing up to make an appointment. They said well that's a recent change as of beginning of this year that they no longer work with my insurance for flu shots. Which I then make the point that well that's plenty of time for cvs to just make a simple update while signing up. So I cancel my appointment and walk out without either vaccine but instead the number for the feedback department. read more

I really do not write reviews, but after my experience at this CVS with the Pharmacist, this was the least I can do to say Thank You for going above and beyond. I was visiting Maryland with my family, and one of my boys suffers from Allergies, he needed his inhaler which I did not have. It was a little bit after 8pm, I explained my situation to the Pharmacist who in turn facilitated the script being called in and filled it right away. I was out of the pharmacy by 8:35pm. I have to find another pharmacy soon! This CVS, other than the pharmacy (hence the extra star) is freakin horrible! They do not restock the shelves, it is very dirty with trash scattered all over the store and there was not enough cashiers to check people out at a reasonable pace. To make matters even worse, I did see some CVS employees standing around doing nothing while 1 cashier was helping people. Yep, I wrote a review for CVS. And yep, now I'm updating it. Judge away. Anyway, had to hop on and give props to the helpful guy (HG) who fixed the photo machine when it stopped working a total of three different times, each for a different reason, as I was insta-printing today. Granted, it's not exactly brag-worthy that it broke down three different times, but they're really getting some traction off my low expectations for CVS photo printing. I expected: 1) ...that the photo machine would be down upon arrival. I mean, it was, but HG fixed it promptly. 2) ...that something would go wrong, and it'd be lights out. I mean, things did go wrong...twice...but HG got it going again both times. 3) ...that when there was an error and the receipt wouldn't print, there would be a long delay while they tried to figure out how to get it to print. Instead, HG just asked me how many prints I had and rang me up on the honor system. So, while lots of things went wrong, the job still miraculously got done, and for that, I say, good enough! read more

This place only gets 2 stars because the location is useful to me. Otherwise, this place is a mess. The pharmacy is incredibly slow - I suspect that the people there are doing their best but are understaffed and management doesn't seem to have a good system. Every time I got to pick up an rx it is like an Easter Egg hunt in the pharmacy area. The tech is looking under desks and rifling through stacks of paper and pushing open drawers and peeking into boxes. With any luck they find your medication after the 3rd or 4th time they come back to ask your name and check the computer again. On the plus side, the pharmacy folks appear to be doing their best to be friendly. The store itself is a mess. The shelves are always 1/2 or more empty. Anything that is on sale - forget it - you will not be able to find it in the store, even on the morning that the item is first available. I think the management hides the items or deliberately doesn't stock them because this has been the case for years. (If there is an awesome sale I drive to the CVS on New Hampshire in Hillandale because that store is always clean and well stocked). If the store is busy there will only be a maximum of 2 people working at the counter, and always one of them is involved in also trying to run the photo area and help someone w/ a complicated return - so a long wait in line is guaranteed (same with the pharmacy - after work there may be 10 people waiting and only one clerk). read more

The cvs on 76th and oaklahoma has a suboxone stocking issue. The one on 92nd and greenfield has a pharmacist supervisor I reported to corporate for hanging up on me TWICE. Careful with these cvs in west allis. I have waited for 4 days for the rest of my partial to refill and i understand it is holiday times but that is when people relapse the most and commit suicide the most. If my script isn't filled by today which is the first I will be switching back to walgreens. Now my out of town plans are ruined because I will not have enough suboxones to last the trip. read more

This place is my monthly nightmare. I have 2 prescriptions I fill every month here and it only happens successfully 1 out of 3 times. Someone always makes a mistake or something is out of stock and then I have to deal with days of phone calls and getting referred to various other CVS's which are also a dice roll. There's always a different reason why they screw it up, but I have to deal with CVS anxiety for 2-3 days every month. The effective employees are never there for long, and so every person I talk to is either unprepared over overwhelmed and thus unable to help me. NEVER USE THIS PHARMACY, GO ANYWHERE ELSE. If something goes wrong, expect multiple days of phone calls, being on hold, and praying they actually reach your doctor or insurance while they're still open (during business hours). I cannot overstate how much frustration and stress this pharmacy has caused me over the past 4 years. I had a respite for a year using another pharmarcy for a year (Little Acorn) which was a dream, and had to come back to this CVS because of insurance changes (thanks insurance). read more

I love the CVS staff but not the pharmacy service- I was sent on a wild goose chase three straight months- there is no rx for my child so "you have to go to another CVS" and I did- to three different CVS shops. Wasted me three hours on the day before I flew out of country for a month this past summer. Yesterday, I was ready to lose it as it was the third month of same mediocre service and the lady said it was all because the head pharmacist wasn't in for the last few weeks. I went to the other store yesterday only to be told that insurance would not fill the prescription because I supposedly had it filled at my regular pharmacy. This time, I lost it and went back to my original spot and told the lady that I am not taking it anymore. She said well it was a misunderstanding on my part. The afternoon pill was prescribed and I wanted the afternoon pill. I pointed at the printout that I needed adhd meds (extended release which is the morning pill) and it was clearly written there. She told me to come back in fifteen minutes and the meds were ready to my surprise. When another guy came to greet me, this same lady went up to see what I wrote (as I am deaf) and I said to the guy- "no offense but I do like you. I just need to talk to this lady." I made sure she understood she was at fault for sending me all over the places with flimsy excuses and that I am not coming back again. She said, "well, the head pharmacist is back." I requested a refill of a prescription over 2 days ago and never got a notification that it was ready. So, I went into the pharmacy and they told me it wasn't ready yet. When I told the man behind the counter that I had requested it more than 2 days ago, he smirked and said they were "a little behind". Then, a pharmacist chimed in and added "yeah, we're at least 7 days behind filling prescriptions!" This is a crucial medicine I need for the health of my current pregnancy so I said I needed it today (I don't have another dose for tomorrow). Btw, they don't even need to count pills and put them in a bottle, it's literally in a box they have on the shelf--they just need to put it in a bag. They said if I waited a few minutes, they would have it ready. I went shopping, got food at another place, came back, waited in line, and it still wasn't ready. I asked if it would be ready before they closed tonight and he said they would call when it's ready. Well, I never got a call. This is my last time using this pharmacy. I just hope they can put it in a bag by the time my dose is due tomorrow or else I don't know what I'm going to do. read more

They consistently mess up my prescriptions, or can't find them, or I get notified that my prescription is ready for pick up but when I show up they've disappeared and the pharmacy has no record of them. Consistently bad service at this location. I had some film developed here, which first of all takes 3 weeks to have done because they send it out to Kodak. They called me later and said it is ready to be picked up. When I went in to pick it up and handed them my receipt, they didn't have it and couldn't get in touch with Kodak to see what happened. The man working at the time asked me THREE times if I was sure I received a phone call alerting me that the photos were ready to be picked up, like he thought I was making it up or something. Smh. The only good thing about this CVS is that it's close to my house. Tip: don't get photos developed here. read more
