This CVS is really hit or miss. If you're going there real quick just to get a thing or two it's…read moreOK. I go to it because it's closest to me, but I typically try not to go. It usually has everything I'm looking for, but it's really expensive whenever I walk out of there. Don't even both to go to the cash register to pay or you'll be there for a while. There's usually only one person with the line being 5 people long. I always just go to self check out and hope that the light doesn't blink and have to wait for someone to help. The pharmacy line is very slow and sometimes wait time can be on the slow side even if you're given a time. I get my meds here a lot out of convenience but I probably shouldn't. The line is always super long, no one knows where it starts for some reason so people just cut, and then they can sometimes take forever to get your stuff. Most of the people that are working there are not too friendly. I don't remember anyone being outright mean to me at the pharmacy, so I guess that's what keeps me coming back.

It is awkwardly positioned just as you walk in to the Safeway, so there is zero privacy. They have been out of 2 out of 3 (very common) drugs I have been prescribed. For the first one, it took days to get it in - the pharmacist told me "I could have ordered it for delivery tomorrow, but I wasn't sure you would pick it up and it is expensive." What?? Of course I am picking it up, that's why my doctor sent the order. I live on a busy street and can't risk packages being left on my front step. This pharmacy is my "backup location" if another locker is full. The pharmacy is small. The inventory is limited. There is an employee who sits behind a glass enclosure. She is good about retrieving packages. Langley Park has gone downhill for sometime. Hot Shops left. Taco Bell left. Now there is a bus terminal in the strip mall and stores that survived over the years or replaced the ones that didn't. I lock my car even if I am parked in front of the pharmacy for three minutes.

This is now where it all went down hill, The drive thru is not situated to accommodate more than two cars ( see picture) as it is situated between two strip malls and an alley. While waiting, a huge Mac truck pulls up and all of the cars behind me had to pull out and come back around do the truck could pull into back for delivery. Now let's get to the worst part of it all, we pulled up to our appointment at confirmed time slot of 9:45 a.m. As you can see from the pic we didn't obtain the kit till 10:59 am ..that's over an hour wait in the drive thru. Outside of that, we did receive an email right away asking how was our experience needless to say I will be completing the survey. There has to be a better way!

They won't take your insurance. Doesn't say that anywhere on the scheduling website either after googling "covid booster fall 2023". Also, ignore the check in text if you're getting a vaccine. Just go to the Pharmacy drop off section and talk to them there. They don't check that you did so on your phone. Poor signage, literally just 2 laminated pieces of paper by the pharmacy, about what to do for vaccines too.
