CVS in Davis Square, Somerville MA
    Bruce K.

Super busy at the end of the workday here in this CVS located right near the Davis MBTA station and in front of Davis Square. They're working hard to pack all the usual stuff into this shop and I'd say that the only thing that they need to do is arrange some better queue management for the registers but there really isn't much space to do it. They do have the self-checkouts and it was great to see one worker right there to manage them all. I was here for a passport photo, which I need for the visa application form I'm sending off. The gent who took the picture was calm, polite, efficient and most of all quick. He had to retake it due to a shadow on my face and apologized profusely. Good shop!

They have no intentions on answering the phones. Save yourself the time, use a different pharmacy.

This place is horrible. Short on staff, never answer phones, could careless about customers. I would suggest avoiding this CVS Pharmacy at all cost. If I could do less than one star I would. You're welcome.

Waiting for someone to pick up.

False advertising on signs and super unhelpful staff. Save your time and go to rite aid down the street. At least they have a parking lot.

Typical overpriced liquor store in an expensive part of Boston in the west suburbs right off of Commonwealth. I don't drink so I don't care how overpriced it is - I just came here for some water. But if you're coming here for liquor, it might be a little out of your price range. Then again you're on Yelp so you're probably not poor. Lol. But it's still a good store because I know a lot of you love to drink and these stores are invaluable to you then basically. Pretty good selection too, and friendly enough. Sunday morning rain is falling. Oh wait. Why did Adam Levine take over my review. Psh.

Prices are on the expensive side, but fairly standard for Harvard Square prices. They have the customary selection of beers, wines, liquors, and mixers, but they also have a section of Harvard apparel (like T-shirts, sweatshirts) and Harvard memorabilia (like keychains, mugs, coasters, etc), so it is a great place to also pick up some souvenirs while you are shopping for your beer! I also like that they sell accessories to complement your drinking, like plastic martini glasses and plastic shot glasses for a party. Their hours online might not necessarily reflect when you are able to buy alcohol. I walked in after 11pm one night and even though they were still open, I was told that they cannot sell alcohol after 11pm (not sure if that is only on specific nights or if this is a nightly rule).

You're welcome. Also they have other convenience store items, many of questionable origin. The edibles all seem to be within date which is more than I can say for the Shaw's down the street. The trouble is finding anything. the place is so packed with whos-a-ma-whatz-its, thing-a-ma-bobs, and things I can't pronounce that it's a tad overwhelming. On the baked goods shelf they often have conchas. These take me back. Grandma LOVED them and really tried to get me to love them. Sadly that didn't work out. But I know that I can visit them every now and then an look back on those days fondly. You should peep the paper strip that apparently (maybe in the 70s?) held pacifiers. How convenient that strip of binkies must have been several decades ago. Random. There is usually someone scratching tickets in the doorway (what is it with scratch tickets here?) and someone yelling about Mass Millions up front. This can be inconvenient if you are on a Choco Taco mission; but fear not, taco-y goodness is at hand and for a mere $1.75. Woohoo! So yeah, go. Get your taco on. Live well.

Three shelves of him in many an incarnation, a rainbow of long wicked hues for the burning. And Mother Mary and a few other saints for good measure. Every home needs a few of these on the windowsills. Don't forget Adobo. This blend of salty spices is great in everything from eggs to fish rubs to collard greens. Lazy man's flavor, I'll tell ya.
