Decent little pharmacy place in South Bend...just like the Walgreens that is across the street from it. While it seems like this corner is overbuilt with pharmacies...this one was nice. They have all the usual stuff - notions and knick-knacks - and of course a full service pharmacy. Can't comment on pharmaceuticals since we weren't there for that, but they serve all the other usuals too. We'd go back as the staff was nice and they had what we needed...recommended. read more

I was on hold with the pharmacy for 42 minutes and then they picked up the phone and about 5 seconds later, hung up. I will NEVER again give this location my time and money. read more

I'd give no stars if I could. The tech refilled the wrong rx for me even though I was standing in front of her saying "the one with X mg. The other should have been deactivated." It took days to sort out and the pharmacist told me they have too many scripts to fill to be able to listen to patients when they talk. read more

Horrible attitudes in the pharmacy. A new tall lady is there (with braids?); she looks like she's ready to throw a punch any second; and is like that with everyone. She doesn't seem to be good at her job either-- and acts like you're ruining her day just by existing, and breathing air. Long story short, after I said Thank You, she refused to hand me my ID back, and I had to reach my arm under the glass and across the counter to her side to get it. All the while, she just stood there staring at me with this nasty look. So weird and toxic. A shorter gal, with glasses (and braids also?), is there and she's constantly talking trash about customers' medications, or the customers themselves; making snide remarks, then snickers to herself. Then starts again. Hey CVS, guys? Heck no! You can't have employees like this. They'll ruin your business. Bottom line. read more

Been in here a few times and always felt the service was slow, but last night I stood in front of the one open register for 5 minutes and no one came to help me. There was a staff member cleaning the entry way who ignored me, a manager stocking shelves, and a security guard standing next to the registers on his phone. This pharmacy is by FAR the worst pharmacy our family has used in forty years. Wait time on the phone, just to speak to a live body, can be as long as an hour. Prescriptions are not filled in a timely fashion. Once, after waiting all day, in pain, to get a prescription, I totally lost patience and said to the pharmacist that his pharmacy was terrible. He responded, "Unfortunately, I have to agree." I wish I could give it no stars. read more

Every month I have a problem getting my son's medicine. The people there are extremely rude & unhelpful. I was told if my son had a script there they would make sure they have his meds in stock. Well they never do. Then they say they'll order them and they don't. He gets 3 months sent there at once & they still don't make sure they have enough in stock. I call the number and it always says processing. How is it processing if it's not even in stock? Trying to call someone at that location is a joke cuz they don't answer the phone. I understand they're short staffed but trying to explain to my son why he is going without his controlled substance is extremely annoying! read more

Pharmacy employee's are extremely rude and think they are doctors. I would not even go to CVS, but my insurance plan insists. I've received the wrong medicine several times and though I can understand that trying to read a doctors writing is near impossible, when in doubt call the doctor! Don't just take a guess and hand out the wrong medicine. Had I not of noticed and taken the medicine with my other prescriptions, it could have killed me! I've also received the wrong amount of pills. Make sure you check your medicine before you leave CVS. There are some very dishonest people there. In general, CVS is the worst pharmacy around. I wish my insurance would allow me to go to Walgreens. read more

Terrible service, yet again. I dropped a Tamiflu prescription off in person for my daughter who is running fevers of 105, they checked to see if they had it, said they did, and then when my husband went to pick it up 4 hours later they had none! No call or anything. Thanks to them we missed the Tamiflu window. Never going here again. I haven't experienced good service here in years. read more

Understaffed and not friendly. Doctor sent prescription and they lost the order. I called doctor and she said they accepted the request over an hour ago. The wait for a pick up was 120 minutes. Unacceptable! An additional worker came to help and a worker told her to run away while she could read more

This cvs is horrible! You will wait and wait even if no one is there. If you go between 4-7 expect to wait up to an hour to be seen. They ignore phone calls coming in to the pharmacy. They will sit on a prescription even if they had it for over 8 hours. They say they have a medicine in stock when you drop the prescription off but when you go back to pick it up they said they've been out of it. I'll never go here again. read more

It's hilarious that a CVS and Walgreen's is right across the street from each other (everywhere, it seems). I go to Walgreen's for my prescriptions (cheaper under my plan), but I come here for everything else, seems a little cheaper. Everybody's friendly, safe area. Tristan and Matt are incredibly rude. Tristan gives drug counsel when he is not a pharmacist. Told me I should be taking different thyroid medications when they didn't have it in. Gave several suggestions and went on and on. I've had hypothyroidism for 10 years. I can't take synthetic meds. I know this is illegal for a tech to counsel on drugs. I used to be a pharmacy technician at CVS myself. He needs to be fired. They never get my prescriptions right here. Called management several times. Nothing is ever resolved. They never ask if you have a question for the pharmacist picking up prescriptions, and I've never been asked about extra care. When I used to work at CVS these were important. Guess not anymore. Every time I contact management, the same excuse I receive is that people have called in and they're not working. I've held on the phone for 30 minutes to an hour every time I have to call and sometimes I am simply hung up on. They literally picked up the phone and then hung it right back up. If these people don't want to do their job then fire them. It's not a hard job. It's pathetic they can't do their job. read more

Absolutely horrendous customer service in the pharmacy. They treat every single customer like they are an inconvenience rather than actual human beings, and just in general act like horrible, rude, thoughtless people. I needed my antidepressant prescription refilled, and they treated me like I was a pariah for being concerned about my prescription running out. After promising to get it filled by the end of the week, they claimed that they couldn't do anything about it, and told me I should try calling my doctor on Monday, completely ignoring the fact that going off of antidepressants cold turkey can cause HORRIBLE side effects. After I told them about my concern with having withdrawal side effects, they told me they could give me a two day refill, but somehow completely forgot about this when I went to go pick it up. They treated me like I was a liar, and kept interrupting me, talking over me, and treating me like dirt throughout my entire interaction with them. I had to tell three different people the exact same story two times each before they would finally agree to give me a couple of pills for the weekend. It is not like I was trying to get narcotics or something illegal or shady. I was literally just trying to prevent my brain chemistry from getting out of whack from going off of my prescription, but they treated me like I was a criminal the entire time I was dealing with them. I will never go back to this pharmacy, and I fully intend on complaining to the company about the terrible customer service in this store. DO NOT GO HERE if you care about your health. read more
