My wife and I showed Karen the offer from 7/11 corporate but she refused to honor it even though we were members and provided the required scanning codes. I told he we would pay for them and complain to corporate regarding the interaction. At that point she asked that we leave the store. Terribly nasty attitude. Who would turn an 11 and 15 year old away from buying a slushie that should have been free according to their offer? Remedy: we went to the Dedham 7/11, had our free slushies and a wonderfully refreshing interaction with the clerk and went about our day. Later, we lodged a complaint with 7/11 corporate about the Canton stores interaction and mentioned how wonderfully different the Dedham store was. How many people I wondered had been turned away or forced to pay for something that should have been free?

I legit just filled up my tank there yesterday... Today is a different story. My car died right at the lights in this intersection and kind-hearted good samaritan pushed me into their lot. I was so upset and shaken by the whole ordeal, as soon as I got safely into the lot I stopped my car. This meant that my car was at a weird angle and the tow guy had to position himself at a weird angle to get my car on this truck. As a result he blocked ONE of her TWO entrances for about 15 minutes - 1/2 way through she came over and began screaming at him and me that we were in her customer's way and she was losing business. I could NOT believe her behavior. SUCH GREED and NO CONCERN for a neighbor and now a former customer. Thank goodness the tow guy was more professional than I was at this point and told her she was wasting her time and the sooner she left the sooner we could get out of the way. This was a very cool spot with a delicious variety of fun foods. We were met at the door by a young lady verbalizing with excitement that she can make any sandwich we'd like. They have fresh soups, salads and fruit dishes. She offered us free samples of chicken salad and potato salad. Their customer service was premier. I ended up getting their bacon chicken salad. Which - add bacon to anything and I'm ready to vacuum it down. I'm glad it wasn't that overpriced - overrated willow tree brand. It had light mayo which is perfect for me. I stopped here out of pure convenience to pick up the Sunday newspaper one day while in Brockton. I originally was going to get it near my house, but thought if I was driving right by, this place would be quick. The spaces literally back up onto the street, and with busy Sunday morning traffic along Oak Street, it's very tough to back out.... especially if you are heading towards Route 27. Self note, NEVER again will I park in one of those spots. The even worse thing was that two other customers had to wait even longer than I did! Yikes. Anyways, I walked into this place, to what looked like hadn't been cleaned for at least thirty years. At the school I work at, tiles are waxed in the summer of every year. It's a normal maintenance job, and here, the floor tiles couldn't have been cleaned in over twenty years. No I shouldn't be reviewing a place on their floor tiles, however, if they sell food, the perimeter of the store shouldn't be in ANY sense grimy. Lots of space throughout the store, and a good stock of chips, soda, and even lots of licensed sports stuff. Lots of DVD's (haven't seen other 7-11's ever have DVD's for $4.99!), lots of phone accessories, and of course the normal overplus of coffees, sodas, and pick-me-up meals from the counter. Lots of Sunday newspapers (for my intentions), and quick checkout, but they need to seriously do some work on this place. They have a lot of potential, but I would be very careful if buying ANY food here. The store needs a clean up! Finding no gas station in sight, my phone directed me to the next closest establishment within which to fill up our drained gas tank... this Sunoco station. As a Rhode Islander, I will be forever grateful for the significantly cheaper gas prices just over the Massachusetts line. This station was no different and boasted pricing at least 10 cents cheaper than its neighboring state. Looking for something to tide me over until what turned out to be a very late meal, I walked into the seemingly small convenience portion of this establishment and was astounded by the number of options I had to choose from. On entering, I was asked by my counterpart to find some cream soda (usually a difficult task at most convenience stores as Root Beer usually wins out on the shelves over the less popularly supplied Cream variety). I laughed, but was surprised to find this options as well. The cashier was very personable, making jokes and conversation with most of the patrons in the store. My bf was even offered the store's "lucky penny" with which to use on a purchased scratch ticket. What could have been a bland and irritating gas up, turned into a light and enjoyable experience. Completely unexpected but totally welcomed!!

The cashier was very friendly, greeted me and assisted me promptly. Location is convinent from route 106 off of route 140 in Mansfield, across from Benny's and next door to Wendy's. The price of gas is competitve with other local gas stations, but slightly cheaper. :-) Some days are busier than other, but rarely have to wait for a pump to become available. I am a fan! :-)
