They got all the stuffs but not well organized. Just a few staff here and there, mostly you're on your own to find the stuff you're looking for. Would give zero stars If I could. BEWARE OF THIS SPECIFIC CVS LOCATION!! The pharmacist, Terene, Will deny your refills based on her personal beliefs and opinions. She will ask for personal medical records, interrogate you about your medical experience and the reason you need your meds. She has actively lied about not receiving documentation from the doctors. Pharmacist Terene argued against the doctors script, and wrote on my script that I need to stop taking it. I've been on this controlled substance for 6 years. My medication gives me a better quality of life. I don't know why she wanted to deny me of getting a medication that allows me to function. Pharmacists and the techs back there all look miserable and like they hate their job. Pretty rude staff overall. I wouldn't wish this treatment on anyone by a pharmacy. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Pharmacist Terene. - Drugstores Near Me - STANTON, California

This CVS's main draw is that it is in close proximity to the Naugles on Beach Boulevard in Stanton. There are no natural, supernatural, or unnatural reasons you'd need a CVS before or after visiting Naugles; but there may be a preternatural reason. (I'm just not willing to go out on that limb.) It's about average size for a CVS, but it feels huge. That's because the aisles are spaced particularly far apart. There's also a lot of dead space, which is normally nice in stores but which always feels sad and depressing in drugstores. Their food selection isn't great. Their cereal has the highest prices I've ever seen for cereal outside of Whole Paycheck. This should be a two-star review, but in planning to buy postage stamps in order not to use self-checkout (and because I needed them), I came across a very friendly and helpful employee. That one three-minute interaction brought the entire operation up one whole star. I wasn't happy about the stamp design I got, but when you're buying stamps at corporate drugstores in order to avoid using self-checkout, you've got to expect to get the most boring flag stamps possible. They need to put all Gift Cards behind the counter, I purchased a Home Depot gift card and by the time my recipient went to use it, it was zero! Now I have to go through the nightmare with the State of California, Home Depot Corporate and the bank. I think all stores need to just put it all behind the counter... Prescriptions are never ready on time causing you to run out of your medication every month. The pharmacy never calls or texts you to let you know prescription status even though you've signed up for text five times. If you want anything done you always have to go to the store to speak with a pharmacist; otherwise nothing gets accomplished. In 30 years of getting prescriptions, I have never experienced such poor service. I finally transferred my prescriptions to another pharmacy and no longer have any issues. read more

This location is located in a high traffic area so I notice that homeless tend to walk in the store. They don't have security so the employee has to follow the homeless around the store telling them to leave. As a result, there's a lack of employees available at the front register. It just feels uncomfortable coming to this location and it makes me want to buy my items quickly to leave. read more

They followed all the rules at the doctors request and when I came to the drive up, they waited on me very efficiently and answered all my questions.. my medical provider will only deal with the CVS pharmacies because they're accurate and care about their patients and customers read more

I just want to thank the pharmacy here for being rude to me. I used this pharmacy for a long time (I was stuck because I owned shares in the company's stock). There was a shortage of meds during covid. I am a very patient person. After 2 weeks of calling and no meds I went in and waited in line. A guy in front of me started getting loud, complaining his meds were 2 days late. They caved and miraculously filled his prescription (they had it and lied to me). I was not happy. I left. "Who shops here? This looks like a place ppl steal from or just get prescriptions." - My husband as we walk in I only come here when soda is on sale or if I'm getting an oil change across the street. The product doesn't move fast, everything is not really sale priced even if its on sale and they don't sell phenomenal ice cream which is why I bother to go to Rite-Aid. My husband was pretty spot on with his commentary. Probably the best part of my shopping experience today! P.s. I shopped at CVS Pharmacy 12444 Beach Blvd. in Stanton. I had a $5 off CVS coupon that I wanted to use before expiration date. So I bought Ecotrin 81mg safety coated aspirin of 365 tablets that is cardiologist recommended. My doctor as has me taking 2 tablets daily. Then I remembered that Paisley & Buddy needed more can food. I bought 10 cans of Fancy Feast of the kinds they both liked. Chris & Teresa at the front cashier counter were nice and friendly. Came here to get a covid test from the drive through. My appointment was at 3pm, got there 5-10 minutes early, but I didn't get to the front until much later. After getting to the front they took even longer to get the test to me. I didn't leave CVS until 4pm. In comparison, I previously had a covid test at Walgreens and it didn't take this long. I saw two cars leave the line while I was waiting in line as well. Obviously they were fed up with the wait. Also, I've never had any problems with the CVS pharmacies inside of target. I have been going to this pharmacy for 25 years. It seems like in the last 5 years, their service has just tanked. Yesterday I waited for 3 prescriptions for 30 minutes of which I only walked away with 1. The other 2 had been "in process" for 3 days! I was told they had a new system, but not sure In going to go with that. Today U arrive to pick up the 2 from yesterday plus 1 more. You guessed it, I've been here for 20 minutes. Ugh...it shouldn't be this difficult. While the staff is always nice, there is something wrong with the process..or lack there of. ZERO stars if I can. Made an appointment for my parents for their booster covid vaccine (they are 65 and 67 years old) and had finished the 2nd dose in early February. The CDC recommends a booster in this population 6 months after the primary series. Went into the store at the appointed time and the pharmacist on duty TERENA VO denied our appointment on the spot. Verbally said that she denied the shot even though the CDC recommends a booster shot for my parents and the CVS homepage recommends it as well. There were no other patients at the time...I am livid as a healthcare worker since vaccinations are so important in controlling the pandemic. I have no idea what credentials this person has to go against what the CDC and her own corporate guidelines but this is unacceptable. If you need a vaccine, head elsewhere since they clearly don't follow the CDC and FDA guidelines. UPDATE: I was able to get my parents a booster shot at another CVS as a walk in and told them about my experience here. Even the pharmacist shook his head saying there was a communication to all cvs pharmacists Friday night/Saturday morning that says this population qualifies for a booster and to give one immediately. read more

1/2 of my prescriptions are filled in advance the other half I have to call about which really is a downer because I'm put on hold for at least 15 minutes. I never (I'm not over exaggerating) had to wait for my prescriptions at Walgreens but we had to make the change because our insurance company made us. The issue isn't the people at the store, it's the business model that CVS follows: maximum profit ahead of service to the customer. There is only one Pharmacist on duty while Walgreens has two. The techs at CVS do their best but they are obviously not on the same level as the techs at Walgreens. read more

Very unprofessional. I had appointment for Covid vaccine booster at 1pm. I came 15' earlier and checked in as they instructed me via text and came to pharmacy at 12:50. Another came in at 1pm and cut the line. The pharmacy tech did not ask her what her appointment time was and took her before me. I came up to complain then she took my infos. I waited until 1:20 for them to prepare vaccines. Really? I used to work as medical assistant and it doesn't take that long to prepare stuffs. I got the first two vaccines at UCI, they are very professional and on time even they are very busy every day. When I came to this CVS pharmacy today, it was empty. 5 Years plus with this CVS. I had a lot of issue here but honestly, I loved the service I got from Andy. I never see him anymore and the issue are just piling up and too much to bare anymore. I'm switching after they fix this last issue. I held on hold for 35+ min today just to call on a separate phone and someone picks up my call to help while my other line is still running on hold. The pharmacist and young woman giving vaccines were very nice. The Filipino woman taking vaccine check-ins, and prescription drop off was extremely rude!! My appointment was for 11:30am and I didn't get my shot for almost an hour. What is the point of an appointment if I still have to wait? There was a guy that walked in with no appointment and he got his shot right after I got mine. Dude was delighted with himself and telling everyone that he was glad it was so fast and no wait. I noticed on this day they waited until they had atleast 5 people that were there waiting for the vaccine and then the person giving the shots would come out and give all the shots one after another. I spend quite a bit of time in this neighborhood, and this is the closest drug store, it's open 24 hours, and it's big. They don't really do anything spectacularly right, or anything spectacularly wrong. It's neither impressively clean nor unkempt. The employees haven't been extremely helpful or neglectful. The selection is fine, but hasn't blown me away. It's your basic run-of-the-mill CVS store. You could do worse. read more

Constant lies by CVS. I'm current Transplant patient recovering from Bone Marrow transplant. My medication is very important since I go through numerous and serious GVHD. They never admit any of their faults. They told me they have requested for replacement med since insurance wouldn't cover certain med but never contacted my doctor. They have told me they never received certain prescription but my doctor's system shows confirmation for receipt at CVS. I'll definitely move over all my prescriptions. read more

This is a mix review. Came in on Thanksgiving to buy some items for dinner that evening. The cashier name was Christopher. He was not a very pleasant employee. It is a long story, so I won't go into details. Came back a week later to speak to the manager on staff. His name was Paul. He was the ultimate professional. Listened to what I had to say and the proof I had to show what Christopher did was wrong. Paul agreed with me and compensated me a fair way. Pharmacy employers are rude and make me feel like I don't know what I'm talking about. I called to refill a prescription and the RX number was incorrect. So I spoke with an employee, told her what happened, and in the most condescending tone, she said to me "you know that's not the RX number?" Obviously. Another incident occurred when I continued to keep refilling my prescription because the voice recording said "it's in process", when actually the pharmacy was low on my medication and didn't bother to inform me. I finally called to ask what was going on because I was going on day 3 without my meds and one of the Pharmacist said "you're not suppose to stop taking your medication". Incredibly unprofessional and lacking in costumer service. I will not be coming back to this location. read more
