Echoing other Yelpers: Find a different pharmacy. For whatever reason, the head pharmacist seem to have a giant stick permanently wedged up his butt. I made two attempts to select this as my new pharmacy when I moved to town, but on both occasions, the pharmacy was neither friendly nor professional. Showing up for a flu shot? Plan to wait 10-15 minutes AFTER your appointment time. He'll get to you when he's good and ready. Transferring a prescription? Expect to make all the calls yourself. They won't call your doctor's office... They won't even contact the other CVS! Can't you just make their job easier by going somewhere else? Why, yes. Yes, I can. read more

Was in line to pick up a script. Pulled up at 1:28 (yes it said lunch from 1:30-2) but she went ahead and closed the door on us after her seeing that we were next in line. Customer service I'd say is lacking, especially when people need their meds.. go somewhere else for scrips. read more

I had to transfer my prescriptions to this pharmacy. Overall things have gone okay although it is more out of the way than my previous pharmacy. I like the colorful, large print CVS labels which are easy to read and have the morning noon, and evening dispense windows. I really dislike the phone system, however. It is difficult to get to speak to a live person if you call from your cellphone and it recognizes who you are. I finally called from my home phone and got to what I thought would be a live person and instead the line was not picked up and I left a voicemail message, which fortunately was answered promptly while I was typing this. I have been to doctor's offices where I never hear the phones ring at all. They let all the calls go to voicemail. I think that sucks, and I will be changing that doctor's office soon. Try not to be like them. I would rather someone answered the phone and put me on hold for five minutes. I like humans. read more

I absolutely love this pharmacy!! I just moved to Denver NC from Southern California back in June. I had gotten my prescriptions filled at Kaiser for the past 9 years and I was panicking over switching to another pharmacy. CVS made my transition so smooth and painless. They literally went above and beyond to make this transition stress free for me. Every month I have gone in I never have to wait they always have my medication ready I absolutely love this!! This is for the pharmacy part. The store part is fine. Pharmacy: Absolutely awful at this point. The drive through window is closed and the line is always 10+ people long. They are understaffed which means prescriptions are behind. I have gone weeks without my regular prescriptions being filled. It also takes like 5-10 minutes to help each person so if you're in line, bring something to entertain yourself. Three examples of truly unacceptable situations I have encountered here: 1. I went to pick up my prescriptions on a Sunday, & the pharmacist hadn't shown up an hour into their shift. 2. My daughter needed an antibiotic, and when I went that day the entire store was closed bc the employee who was supposed to open hadn't shown up. 3. An antibiotic was sent in for me at 10am & when I went at 6pm it wasn't filled, and the girl got a massive attitude when I told her I would wait for it to be filled, after waiting in line for literally 30 minutes. Scheduled a COVID shot with them, drove an hour and 20 minutes to make my appointment on time only to find out they had canceled all of the shots for the day that morning. No message, no notice...nothing! Although, I did receive a text that afternoon with a link to click so it would let them know when I arrived for my APPOINTMENT. How ridiculous! By far the worst pharmacy I have ever used. The staff is so unfriendly. They are slow and uncaring. I would wait in the drive through for over 40 minutes and 30 minutes inside line. I finally switched to another pharmacy because after 3 days they still didn't fill my prescription and I was told they were 7 days behind on all prescription. Really bad customer service at this particular store! cashier name "Deanne" have very rude manners and disrespectful attitude towards customers. She acts like she owns this store and clearly don't know the store policy when handling with coupons... I've been a loyal Cvs client for years and love the promotions and offers CVS has, but I had moved recently to this area and found this store close to me, unfortunately I got to say I have received the worst customer service ever. I tried to give this place a chance because it is close to my home and has a drive through, but they really are quite terrible. The good: you will (eventually) get your prescription and never had issues with pricing. The bad: the staff!!! They take zero pride in their job, are unmotivated, and basically just throw your prescription to you through the window then shut it. They are inconsistent with infant and children's medicine bottles though... for example, sometimes the inner lid has a piece to dispense into a syringe and other times it doesn't. If your really lucky they will give you said syringe to use on their inner cap, but not consistently. My last straw was when I went to pickup two prescriptions for my infant daughter. They gave me one, without mentioning the second, and shut the window. Upon calling they say it's on hold. Well ok... WHY is it on hold? They check with someone and say because it's out of stock and would I like them to order it in, waiting an extra 24-48 hours? No proactive-ness to call me when they got the script in or to even mention it at the window! No apology or anything! I just switched over to Martins. read more

The staff are very unfriendly and not helpful. I would give this pharmacy a zero if I could. Most troubling is that I watched a tech putting pills into a prescription bottle with her bare hands - NO gloves on or mask. I work in the medical field and that is completely unacceptable. I reported this to the pharmacist on duty. Will not be returning to this CVS. read more

This review is based on the pharmacy alone. I dropped off a prescription on 2-15-18 and was told if I came in the store the wait would only be 20 mins. I told the lady at the window that I had pneumonia and did not want to come inside but I would wait in the parking lot. She said that was fine. I waited in the parking lot for 25 mins, then I go back thru the drive thru. The man said it was not ready it would be another 30-45 mins and I told him that it was supposed to be ready 5 mins ago. He said it was wrote down for pick up tomorrow at 2pm. I was super mad. I am very sick and already had to run to different pharmacies to pick up my other prescriptions because they were cheaper elsewhere. I pointed to the lady that told me to wait in the parking lot for 20 mins and told the man to tell the women thanks alot. I just wasted completely unnecessary time. I decided to just come home I was feeling to bad to be driving. The 7/8 mins it took me to get home, I no sooner got inside my house and I get a text the my prescription is ready. I call the pharmacy, wait for 10+ mins for someone to answer the phone to tell me that is indeed ready. The girl told me she had it ready when I pulled off from the drive thru window! Really seriously I am so so frustrated. Hopefully i will feel well enough to drive back out there before they close. read more

My first (and last) experience with this pharmacy was pathetic. I walk in at 5:00 on a Saturday with a simple amoxicillin prescription for my child. They ask if I can wait until Sunday morning. I would prefer not to, as I would like kiddo to have 24 hours of meds on board before school, but I agree. Hubs goes in at noon on Sunday (pharmacy opens at 10:00) and is told it won't be ready for another hour. No apology, nothing. My mistake, it will not be repeated! read more

I have actually had fairly decent experience here. I go in quite often. It's close to home. Usually when I walk in it's a familiar face or two and those ladies are usually polite and acknowledge you and ask if there is anything they can help with. There have been a few who look upset to work there, but not rude either. The only issues I've really had was with the pharmacy. I personally, don't have many issues with them. My husband on the other hand, tends to have the worse luck. Their insurance systems were down one day when he was looking like death warmed over from the nasty virus that was going around. No offer to even attempt to remedy it in any way or even give a time frame. Just nope, cant do it. Then they didn't change his insurance in the system and I think they didn't fill a prescription within 24 hours so he had to wait. I've also been in the store and heard two female pharmacists arguing with each other about who should quit because they hated each other. After about 5 minutes of that another customer came over and let them know how unprofessional they both were and they were very quiet. I've had good and eh experiences here. Overall it just "is" and I'm okay with that. I want to get in, get my stuff, and go. Just don't make me miserable and I'm typically not hard to please. read more
