I was in the drive thru lane for 10 minutes. One car ahead of me and two behind me. When it's my turn, I waited for another 5 minutes Pushed the call button and no response so I went inside. Staff working the window serviced the 2 cars that were behind me before I got my perscription. Once I got helped, everything was great. Polite and professional staff. Whoever is working the window needs some additional training. read more

Well not much comes to mind about this place. Its a CVS so its a lot like all the other many CVS pharmacies around the NOLA metro area. The one attribute about this one that makes it so bad is the customer service. They have never been that friendly with me any time I have ever been here. They usually have several employees wandering around the store and only one person working the register. In short not the best CVS around. I think I'll just stick to the one by my house. read more

Instead I push the button (knowing the girl is staring at me) she then screams lane closed you gotta go to lane 1, thru the speaker. Nope, I went inside to explain my displeasure as nothing indicated a closure. 2. RX not ready after 4 hours. I had 1 ready so I took that 1 and he said do you wanna come back for the other.. Full disclosure: I prefer CVS over Walgreens all day. CVS is never really packed and the service is always fast and friendly. I was here today looking for my favorite hair serum, after not being able to find it at another CVS location. I found it here quickly and painlessly. While I was here I also picked up some Olay products, that were cheaper than I've seen at other places and some travel size mouthwash and hairspray. Checkout was simple and fast and I joined the CVS discount club to save money on future purchases. Win! read more

I'm giving this CVS 5 stars because after a long, grueling search for some brand new matte liquid lipsticks by Wet n Wild, I finally found them here! Not even joking, I went to 20 different drugstores in Metairie and Kenner over the span of 5 days in search of these products and every one of them were sold out. But low and behold! This CVS had them! I guess the bad reviews keep the people away? I don't know! But hey, if I can continue getting my hands on all the new drugstore make-up here, I'm all about it! The pharmacy is always low on stock!!!!! Every other time you try to get a prescription filled they tell you that they don't have enough. They do however kindly look up availability at other CVS locations to give you the option of going somewhere less convenient. Thanks read more

On 15FEB19 their employee 'Edd' was terrible. He was standing in the middle of an isle doing something on a shelf. He is obese. With him standing in the middle of the isle I could not get by him. He saw me approach and he did noting to allow me to pass. A woman with a cart came into the isle behind me so I couldn't go forward or back with him blocking the isle in front and the woman and cart behind me. I said, "Excuse me," and he looked at me and went back to doing something in the shelf. I said, "Excuse me," again and he moved an inch or so closer to the shelf but still the isle was blocked. I had to push by him. Rude, unprofessional, and if you were there you would agree that it was intentionally disrespectful. I picked out my items and went to the cash register/counter to pay for them. He could see me at the counter and he didn't make any effort to come to the cash register. Why do they keep such mean, hateful people as employees?!? When he eventually came to the counter he went to a different part of the counter and just stood there, doing nothing, saying nothing. Eventually, he indicated that I had to pick up my items and go to where he was, though there was nothing to indicate to me where I 'should have gone in the first place'. He was surly in his words. Is this acceptable behavior for their employees?!? I want to know. read more

I received a prescription that was incorrect. I questioned the pharmacist LRS.. hint not Labrina, as that was the false name given to me by the store manager, but more on that later. I was told it was against the law to return the prescription. They were unopened ear drops with the security plastic on it and the box sealed... I was bummed, because a mistake was made I was stuck with a prescription that cost $73.13 after insurance. I told her that bummed me out and she said if I had brought them back within 2-3 days she would have used her "kind discretion" to return the drops. This begged the question and I asked her why her discretion had a time limit. She asked said that she didn't have it in her system to return after a week. She asked me to hold on and she left the window. She came back and informed me that I picked up the prescription on the 14th. Which then begged the question, and I asked her if my transaction was not in the system the how could she tell when I purchased it. She just said it wasn't and it was against the law and that was it. Ok, cool. Call corporate -- they call her-- of course her story changed-- she couldn't keep up with all the lies she was telling me. She says she would have returned them if I hadn't left the pharmacy. If that is what she had said -- the conversation would never had progressed like it had. The law is the law. If that had simply been her answer, one thing, but then she goes into her discretion when breaking the law-- and how I don't qualify -- for her law breaking discretion, mind you. The corporate agents take her side and keep stating it's law, but do not cite the actual law. Well I read their receipt to them that a return on a prescription MAY be against State Law and to consult the pharmacist. I can maybe understand medication that don't have a security wrap, but if there was any exception that can be made I feel like a sealed medication would be it. Bottom line I'm upset that some people who meet arbitrary discretion deadlines get their money back on mistakes. So I called the store after getting nowhere with corporate for the name and license number of the pharmacist on duty. I was told by the store manager "Antoinette" that she didn't have that information. Of course, I didn't believe this at all. I asked her for the first name and she finally said Labrina. I asked her to spell it for me and she did. I asked for her last initial (remember she didn't have any information at first but came up with a first name). She said that she didn't have that information and that she was hanging up on me because she couldn't give me the information that she didn't have... and she did. I say "Antoinette" because I am not sure that was her name. I started going through past prescriptions for a name similar to what I was given, and low and behold the prescription that started this whole thing was signed off on by none other than LRS.. if you get your prescriptions here, you'll be able to figure it out. Did a little social media research and confirmed by photos that indeed this was the pharmacist with whom I had interacted. Next stop, Louisiana Board of Pharmacies. Long story short, the PSA: make sure before you leave the counter/window that your prescription is correct or you will eat the money. Mine was 73.13 but yours could be more. read more

There's nothing worse than going somewhere to spend your money and they don't put any effort into investigating a prescription that you need filled. I'm in Walgreens customer by heart but due to a change in the type of medication that I received from them I had to go to a Nother store. So I figure CVS will be the next best thing I walking to CVS I handed my prescription of my license. I was told by one of the pharmacist they don't carry Norco a very common painkiller. Not me not be a pharmacist but I know better than to except this answer. Therefore due to the lack of professionalism and dedication to your craft I will never enter into another CVS again as long as I live. And I will spread the word that CVS does not have the time nor the dedication to their craft to service you properly. read more

Compared to many other CVS locations nearby, this one is great! Amazing makeup selection and candy/snack aisle with tons of variety. Super friendly and helpful staff, too! Store is clean and organized, always a plus! Now, I haven't used the pharmacy, so I can't speak on that side of it, but from a retail standpoint I'm a very happy customer. read more

I have never been a fan of CVS drugs in general because I think they are overpriced, but I had a Rx that is hard to find and I called this store and they left me on hold for over 11 minutes!!!! That is 3 times the maximum you should ever leave anyone on hold!!! Unacceptable customer service when it has taken all other pharmacies less than 1:30 to tell me they don't carry this particular medicine! read more

This review is just for the pharmacy portion, the store is pretty standard for a CVS. That being said, customer service at the pharmacy has become HORRENDOUS! When they first opened, the staff was awesome; friendly, knowledgeable and very thorough. I never had a problem getting any prescrptions filled within 30 minutes. In the last year, they have done a complete 180 and I am ready to take my business elsewhere. The clerks (even though they now usually have two) work very slowly, are extremely rude and seem to have an air of unconcern. The last time I went through the drive through, I waited almost 20 minutes before even being aknowledged because the lady was doing something on her computer and I couldn't get her to say five words to me during the entire transaction. Honestly, the only reason I didn't drive off was because I wanted the customer satisfaction survey on the back of the reciept. I think when people are this apathetic about their jobs, we the customers have a duty to speak up and say something! read more

BEYOND DISGUSTED BY THIS CVS PHARMACY!!! I gave them so many tries too, but they are consistently awful and I always end up leaving mad and have to go to another location anyway. I was so disappointed when my insurance switched from walgreen's pharmacy to CVS, but mostly for the inconvenience. I didn't realize how amazing I had it at walgreens until I was forced to use CVS. For the drive through, THE WAIT IS RIDICULOUS, even when you are the only person there, you are going to be there at least 30 minutes. Forget it if you are in a line, the wait turns into HOURS. They never have anything in stock. At walgreens, every time I moved, I switched walgreens locations and would tell the new one that I was going to be picking up my prescriptions every month at their location from then on. They would inform me that they were going to add my prescript quantities to the stock orders to make sure my medicine would be in every month and it always was!!! I never had any problems after my initial visit with them. I try telling my new CVS and they tell me that they don't order their meds that way, they don't change their order amounts apparently and they have been OUT OF STOCK on my meds now EVERY SINGLE TIME! Worst of all is that they are so so SO RUDE!!! If they were a tiny bit nice for even a second I would just be a little annoyed, but no, they are disgustingly rude with zero customer service abilities! It's unbelievable how any of them got hired or have ever been able to retain a job! AND they really don't know anything, try asking them a single basic medical question, they don't have a clue!!! Today was the last day I will ever visit this location even though it's the closest one to my house. I will drive out of the way to another one or better yet, take my business back to walgreens where they have an abundance of customer service ability, even if it will cost me more, they are beyond worth it especially with CVS as an alternative! read more
