I used this CVS for 2+ years & then all of a sudden they put a new policy in place in the pharmacy with zero warning. Showed up to pickup my prescription & they said sorry can't fill it. They should have told all patients last month that this was coming. So I went right across the street to Monroe Pharmacy & they immediately filled it for me. I also didnt have to wait in a line that runs around the building. The 2 stars are for the coupons they offer & the cashiers are nice. I doubt I'll shop there anymore. read more

If you want to waste an hour of your life waiting in line for your medication this is the place! My doctor sent a prescription at 8 am and around 6 pm I went to check on it. The clerk at the cash register told me it would be another 40 minutes because they "got really behind during lunch." We just left at that point, finally an hour and a half after we left I got a text saying my prescription was ready for pick up. read more

This CVS has a 24 hour pharmacy. They call me to let me know when my son's prescription is due for a refill. They have good customer service. It's a nice store. They have a wide variety of items, which is nice to browse through while waiting for a prescription to be filled. read more

Two pharmacy visits exactly 1 week apart with both of them having a wait time of over 45 minutes. This is with having called over an hour ahead and receiving verbal confirmation that the prescriptions would be filled and ready to go 30 minutes before I even arrived. I was 1 of 5 people in line as we all waited time and - no joke- every single one of us had an issue with pick-up. Have been going to CVS Toledo, OH for at least 8 years due to Insurance change. The Pharmacy has consistently got worse. I don't think they know what customer service is. Today I a cashier was super rude to me. All these years I could pick my husband and my meds in one transaction. Today I was told the cashier could not do that and I had to do separate transactions. Which was ridiculous after a 20 minute wait in line. With many people standing in line behind me. Instead of being understanding the cashier was rude with me. The excuse was we are over worked and understaffed because of the pharmacies closing. That has been the excess for not filling scripts correctly for the past 3 years. I would think if the pharmacies closing there should be plenty of workers. CVS does not seem to take care of staff or customers. CVS should consider customer service training. I hate this place with every fiber in my body. I was told that a prescription would be ready, both by the automated system and physical pharmacist in 30 minutes. I waited 6 hours because I had to work. The drive thru line touched Douglas and poured into the street. I finally made it to the window and the person told me they needed an hour and would send out a text alert when ready. I never received the text. Several days passed. I just transferred my RX to Costco because I knew they'd get the job done. But, having Paramount, I am FORCED to go to CVS or pay out of pocket anywhere else I go, which is BS. The staffed is over worked, probably under paid, unstaffed, and do not care about their patients. It's sad. read more

I have prescriptions I need filled every month, and they can't get the job done. Every month it's something. "You just had this filled two weeks ago". (I did not). "Computers are down." I don't remember the last time I walked in with a prescription and walked out with my medication. They used to be a decent pharmacy. When prescriptions are auto renewed, they send a text stating they are processing and when you go in to check the status, or call they say they may not get the prescription in and the customer may have to drive to another store and pick it up.. they don't care. Whenever I get prescribed medication I usually just pick a random pharmacy, usually a Walgreen's or a CVS. I think I will have all future prescriptions filled at this location. The staff is friendly, almost like they're getting high on their own supply. I appreciated the fact that Laura gave me a personal phone call when my prescription was ready so that I could get some errands done. My health insurance is through the University of Michigan so I'm used to having to make a few calls, but at this location they can handle all that for you. I realize greeting customers as they enter a store discourages theft, but the hello's seemed genuine enough, and the store looked clean and well-stocked. My insurance company made me switch from Rite Aid to CVS. This Pharmacy is the most frustrating I have ever experienced. The staff are rude and impatient and not helpful. They seem to be bothered by every question or request. This is not based on one experience but an entire year worth of dealing with this Pharmacy. I just waited in line for 45 minutes at the drive-thru and I would have left except that the Lane traps you in once you have gotten in line. I can't wait for an employer switch in insurance companies and go back to Rite Aid on Secor at Central. If I could give this location a negative 5 stars I would. This location is a joke. Don't go here if you want your insurance or address protected. The staff here allowed someone to fill prescriptions using my 21 month old son profile and insurance. Was even told they verified the address by repeating it to whom ever used my sons information. Funny thing is, I received the txt that a scrip was ready for pickup. And when I called them to let them know they were committing fraud they told me there was nothing they could do about and it was my and my insurances fault for not catching it. They actually deserve no stars! Have had nothing but the worst experience ever from this location. I have been a life long CVS customer but officially will no longer be using CVS. The Pharmacist on duty today refused to fill a prescription that was phoned in by my physician two days ago. She stated that since she did not speak to the doctor, she would not fill this prescription. On Tuesday Aug 25, 2015 my prescribing physician ordered a refill for medicine that is required in order for me to complete a treatment that is required to heal on ongoing medical issue that may result in amputation if treatments are unsuccessful. Tuesday evening I attempted to pickup the prescription but was told by the intern on duty that my insurance would not authorize payment this soon and that I would need to pay out of pocket. I would however be able to pick up the prescription on Aug 27th. So I waited two evenings as I had just enough to get me through this time period. Today Tiffany Brose the pharmacist on duty refused to release the prescription as she said she did not speak to the doctor to have the authorization...mind you on Tuesday, the pills were in the bottle, the bottle was in the paper bag, and the prescription notes were stapled to the bag with a statement of the insurance statement or that I could self pay for the prescription and the cost would be $12. Suddenly, the prescription is missing and Tiffany has made me out to be a drug addict. She refused to even approach me and instead loudly spoke about this prescription and my peronal information behind two counters away. If she had been professional and approached me to speak regarding this matter in one-on-one setting, I would not have been so upset with her. As I was leaving, she rudely yelled "have a good day", so my response was "do your job"! The customer service associate at the front of the store stopped me on my way out attempting to correct the issue as she could hear Tiffany being rude and my response back to her. I contacted CVS corporate to attempt to have this issue investigated and the corporate pharmacist was rude and raised her voice at me, several times I had to tell her she did not have to speak to me with "that tone". Since my doctor has spoken to a pharmacist at CVS on Tuesday Aug 25th, he states that he does not want to contact them again as he feels they are being medically negligent. All I can say is that I hope within the next few days my leg does not become more of an issue or CVS and Tiffany Brose will be receiving paperwork regarding legal action. read more

The only 24 hr drug store in a 30 or 40 mile radius and tiffany brose, the pharmacist on duty last night, between 12am- 12:30am had an attitude and told me my son's prescription for pain medication couldn't be filled. "The prescription is invalid, I can't fill it." She said something was missing on the prescription rendering it invalid. She was extremely rude and refused to even call the hospital he'd just been discharged from. At 9am I took the same prescription to riteaid and the medication was filled in 6 minutes. Six minutes! After he suffered all night long, without pain meds after an emergency apendectomy because Tiffany Brose was either too lazy, had too much of an attitude, or possibly lacked the actual knowledge to fill the prescription. My personal opinion is the medication was a narcotic, and that's why she had such an attitude about it. It was accompanied by a strong antibiotic which is pretty normal for a child who just underwent an emergency apendectomy. I will never use this pharmacy ever again and I will be filing a formal complaint with the pharmacy board as well as calling CVS corporate. I've never in my life been treated with such rudeness, disrespect and lack of compassion. read more
