Review #860 2025-032 This CVS Pharmacy is not a standalone; it's located in Target on the north side of the store. It opens 2 hours later & closes 4 hours earlier on weekdays, & even later opening & earlier closing on the weekends with a 30-min. lunch break from 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM. It's convenient because while I'm waiting for my prescription to be refilled, I can do some basic groceries & household supplies shopping. In the early days, I would receive texts that my prescription needs to be refilled (which is helpful when you're close to finishing, but not so great when you don't need a refill). I prefer to wait until after my check-up to confirm with my PCP if I still need a refill, a change in dosage, or an alternative that's more effective &/or less irritating to my stomach, etc. Sometimes when I'm picking up, the pharmacist will ask/remind me that I'm due for a certain vaccination, which is helpful; however, their records doesn't always align with my PCP's records & vice versa. I typically inform my PCP when I get at CVS & what vaccine. Most of my refills are completed on the same day even within a couple of hours after my doctor's office sends in the order, with a handful of occasions between 1 - 3 days. Some of my prescriptions have a manufacturer's coupon, but their POS is wonky & it may take anywhere between 5 - 30 mins. tinkering with the system to apply the discount, which is anywhere from 75% - 90% cost savings. Yikes! You can also opt for delivery, but I'm unable to when my coupon is inaccessible at time of refill. Every now & then, I would pour out my bottle to check the count because there have been occasions that my order was incorrectly filled; there's an odd pill left & I'm shortchanged 1, with 3 being the most miscount. Vaccines: 14 no cost options are offered with most insurance, such as COVID-19, Flu, Pneumonia, Shingles, Hepatitis A & B, DTaP, etc. The pharmacist may suggest multiple vaccinations on the same visit, as would your PCP, but I would rather space them 1 - 3 days if you're unable to handle the side effects. I did a combo during lockdown, & it knocked me out for a couple of weeks. ＼(｀0´)／ On occasion, CVS Pharmacy will offer discount coupons ($5 off $20 purchase) for scheduling vaccination appointments. So why not? Enroll in their ExtraCare Rewards (loyalty program) to earn ExtraBucks Rewards for pharmacy activities & earn $2 for every 4 credits accumulated, up to $50/CY. I've been coming to this location for 3+ years. Service is usually prompt, except when POS has issues retaining the coupon codes for my meds. There's plenty of parking since the pharmacy is housed inside Target, but it may be challenging to find spots near the entrance. I usually park in the back to get a few extra steps in & to avoid my car getting dinged by shoppers that don't return the carts to the designated holding spots. While the hours are shorter than the standalone pharmacies, it's still workable most days but may be busier because of its Target location. I'm doing my best to get my health back in shape so I don't have these unnecessary expenses (meaning if I kept healthy, then I wouldn't need these meds). While they fix the issue, I have other side effects that I have to endure. :-X In the meantime, CVS Pharmacy is helping me stay on track with my health goals. read more

I am at a loss for words. The staff is earnest and trying but they have to work with equipment that isn't working properly. It was the most inefficient and dragged out way to fill to simple prescription. Made me regret going to this pharmacy (so conveniently located in a Target). But isn't run like an actual pharmacy. It was very disappointing all around. I definitely cannot bring myself to return to this pharmacy. Which I guess won't affect anyone than myself . But expect long wait and they may incorrectly fill your prescription which extends your wait time. read more

I like my neighborhood CVS because the pharmacists are always open to discussing my medication and give great advice. And I'm a sucker for all the discounts on my long receipt which always reminds me of the guy who dressed for Halloween as a CVS receipt.:) Ample free parking near a Japanese market, a gas station and Danny's right near Wilson Park. read more

"I'm a pharmacist I know what I'm doing" what a way to address your patients who desperately need their medication. "WE'RE CLOSED WE'VE BEEN CLOSED FOR 2 MINUTES!!!! IM NOT STAYING ANOTHER 3 MINUTES" absolutely psychotic behavior from someone providing an essential service. Pharmacist with the short black hair doesn't have the mental capacity nor humanity to provide any form of healthcare to the public. Endangering people's lives by refusing to provide essential medication and being an absolute bitch about it is uncalled for. I wish I knew her name so I could drag her further. If she wanted to be a bitch she should've worked in fast food. Holding up medication release because she lacks the literacy requirement to spell the medication properly is insane and she shouldn't be employed by any medical provider as she does not care about ANY patient or their well being. read more

I have left two voicemail messages to Pharmacy since there is no live person to answer the phone. No one calls back! So frustrating for the consumer! Why isn't there someone to speak to rather than forced to leave a voicemail message with no call back from the pharmacy? read more

No baby sections, pampers, pull ups, nothing. Don't waste your time here. As a mother I wasted my time on a basic need. Astonished by the two aisles of mental needs and a whole aisle of just lotion. Just lotion. It hasn't rained in a while so I'm not understanding why the lack of actual essentials. read more

I don't know what's going on with these Cvs in torrance. This cvs only had sanitizing spray for baskets but no paper towels to wipe it down. I asked a customer rep and she said no we just have sanitizer only they didn't gives us any. You mean you can't open up a cheap cvs brand in the store and we have this deadly virus going around. She almost looked like she was not grateful for her job. We bought some appetite suppressant after our day of feeling guilty for eating all the sweets. My daughter open up the suppressants while we were driving and they smelled awful. Man, the torrance Cvs's either smell bad or products smell bad . So we stopped at cvs near out home and they stated we can not accept other cvs products due to cooperate. WTH! I have to drive 30 miles away from my home to return this item. Sorry. I've never heard of this. So tomorrow we have to drive to the same store to return this stinking item read more

This is my go to pharmacy bc the staff is friendly and helpful. It also helps that they are inside the Target, so I can get my Target run too. Lines are usually manageable, and when it's busy, even the pharmacist will come help out. I've come to recognize the staff working there, so seems to be low turnover as well, which helps with overall continuity of care. read more

I'm rating this CVS bc it only has one bad review and I don't think it deserves that. The CVS is inside of the Torrance Target, and the pharmacy itself wasn't busy when I went. The pharmacist was very helpful, offered my a flu shot and got me in and out in less than 5 minutes. This target in particular is very clean, never too busy, and I can usually find someone to help me. Everyone that has ever assisted me has been kind and helpful. read more

I also notice the whole crew in the pharmacy at 316 PCH Store are mainly all one nationality--are there no Caucasian pharmacists worth hiring? No matter how many times I've told this pharmacy to Not auto fill my meds they continue to do so. Very annoying texts and voicemails saying to pickup my prescriptions on their timeline which is not convenient for me. I'll order my meds on their app when I'm ready. When you're on MediCare you have become the Cash Cow for Corporate Pharmacies that are relentless to fill your prescriptions. I'm ready to change my prescriptions provider. read more

I have been coming to this location for many years. I really like the staff, as they are efficient and friendly. I have also received vaccines at this site, and they were expertly administered. I could go to a CVS closer to my house, but I prefer this one. read more
