This review if for our passport photo experience. I went to the CVS by my home first but to my dismay the lady working there not only lied to me about how they don't take passport photos for baby (which clearly states on the website they do) and also stated that it would take over 30 minutes and would most likely not pass. So we decided to head to the next CVS which by coincidence was close to the restaurant we are going to eat dinner at so we did not mind coming here. On our way here we did pray frantically to get someone wonderful and helpful in JESUS name! And of course GOD answers and got us Kat! She was amazing and great w babies because she loves kids. The whole process took about 3 minutes and the pictures came out perfectly. I would highly highly recommend getting your kids passport photo taken here as long as Kat is working! Praise GOD :)

They need to update their website and yelp information. Their pharmacy hours are incorrect at the bulk of their locations. Aggravating!

The worst store ever. I hate all of them when compared to Walgreens. But this pharmacy is under staffed, slow, rude, and dirty.

It's kind of weird to see so many complaints about the service here. I've always been treating pretty well here. Even taking my passport photos. There was a mom with a young infant taking a passport photo on the counter on its back with the mom shaking a foil bag of snacks to get him/her at the camera. The worker was very patient and I was entertained though I had to wait. They haven't lost any packages or manhandled anything yet so I've got no complaints.

Another person showed up and said the same thing and said that "if my manager already checked it, then we do not have the package and here is the telephone no of FEDEX. I refused to leave until they double checked again and told them again that I was the sender and it was for another person, then he looked again. I peaked through their packages and can clearly see my packages and then finally the guy (not the manager- he did not show up anymore, hiding at the back of the store) looked again and said, "yeah your package is here. I am glad I insisted them to check otherwise I would be going around for a package that is already 1 week late in delivery. Sucky service.

I'm not one to frequent what I like to call "Little Junk Shops," because I can get crazy in here…read moreand buy all kinds of junk, from beef jerky, gum, and candy to chips, donuts, or other pastries, though it takes me forever to eat it all! Though that is me fighting my own demons, everything is always fresh. Nothing is old. Some neighborhood liquor or convenience stores that you go to will sometimes have candy or chips in there that are no longer fresh. I never seem to have that problem with 7-Eleven. Besides that, they have beer, wine, cases of water, all kinds of sodas, iced teas, and energy drinks. They also have small quantities of any emergency items that you may need, such as toilet paper, diapers, wipes, female hygiene items, bath soap and other essentials. Their biggest moneymaker is the coffee! They have so many types from Bold and Colombian to their Exclusive Blend and even Cinnamon. They have all kinds of cream from Vanilla and Hazelnut to Irish Cream, Caramel Macchiato and Almond Joy! It gets really full in here in the mornings and I think the fact that they are located on a prime corner and right where the bus stop is also brings in even more business. There are day laborers that will sit in their cars and trucks in the lot or just stand around, but they are not in the way and they keep to themselves. They also have hot food, such as pizza, breakfast sandwiches, regular hot dogs and bacon wrapped hot dogs. I've never tried any of the hot food and don't think I will, but you know...it's there if you want it. The store is always clean and surprisingly, the employees are really nice and professional. They are constantly brewing more coffee every time that I go in and always cleaning the counters. Lately, I've been stopping to get a cup of coffee since the machine at work is broken and for some reason I've been needing coffee every morning, when I usually drink it once in awhile. I do occasionally stop at Starbucks for coffee, but to me, 7-Eleven is cheaper and their lines move very quickly in the mornings. Unless you really need a specialty-type coffee drink, 7-Eleven is a good stand-in. They have two registers and if the line gets long, the employees are good about opening the next register and getting people off to work or whatever their destination may be.

We stopped in before this Amazon Go location closed its doors for good…read more First of all, I needed to open my Amazon app to get in. I was really curious as to how I could shop and walk out without scanning and paying at a checkout. Apparently, there are cameras and shelves are weighted, supposedly. If something is removed, it's assumed that I was purchasing it. There were helpful employees ready to answer questions, and they offered free reusable bags for me to use. I walked out with a few things and a receipt was emailed to me hours later. I was also able to see the itemized receipt on my Amazon purchase history. There was a minor mistake on the receipt for some taco seasoning that I was charged for since I picked it up to look at, but put it back without purchasing. Not a big deal since I got other items on sale. It was an interesting concept overall.

Review #865 2025-037…read more Amazon Go is a convenience store that utilizes "Just Walk Out" technology, allowing customers to shop without the need for traditional checkout lines. Using the Amazon app, customers enter the store, select items for purchase, & walk out; their Amazon account will automatically be charged. When this sounds great & seems convenient, I feel the same as Rick S. re: ID surrender & biometrics for tracking & data capture. Payment options vary by individual store. They include: Amazon app, Amazon One, credit card, cash or SNAP/EBT (these options require a store employee to process). The convenience store welcomes everyone, even if you're not a Prime member or don't an Amazon account. If everyone includes kids, who's checking the ID if you buy alcohol? Is it the same as the entry; scan your Amazon app or Amazon One? Knowing some teen miscreants, they might try to figure on how to use the parents' info so they can buy booze. I've been here a few times, mainly to drop-off my manager's Amazon returns, & only made 1 purchase (ICEE for my 8 YO) prior to the current Amazon One kiosk/technology that scans your palm; I don't have an Amazon account & was required to scan my cc before I was able to enter the store. "Just Walk Out" technology allows you to shop like normal, except you skip the traditional checkout/register. My main concern is how accurately are you being charged since traditional grocery stores have made errors, especially with sale items or if you changed your mind & put something back. I would assume Amazon Go will also offer sales to entice more traffic flow. With this convenient check-out, how likely are you going to review the receipt & how accurate is this technology? If you shopped with your Amazon app, or a cc saved to an Amazon account, you'll receive an email when the receipt is ready. If you shopped with a cc, you can look up your receipt at: amazon.com/receipts. If you're a traditionalist, you supposedly can flag a store employee upon entry for them to open the gate for you. "Just Walk Out" is so advanced that you can shop with others. Just scan or swipe in once, then enter the gate together. Any items grabbed by you or your party that entered with you will be charged to the payment source used to open the gate. I'm sure this has been beta-tested, but what if someone squeezes in behind you/your group? That's the paranoid skeptic in me, & I will wait/watch the gate close behind me before I go about shopping. What if this person behind you is quick, comes in right after you & grabs whatever is closest to the exit & takes off? I'm not a regular shopper (& don't intend to), mainly using this store for returns, so my review may not be helpful to those "on the go" that love this techy convenience.
