I've only had 1 minor issue w/ an online pickup order. The associates couldn't locate it at 1st but…read more1 of them finally grabbed the product from the sales floor & scanned it. Problem solved! Personally, I never had an issue w/ the pharmacy fortunately. I read the other reviews & this location getting a bad rap on both sides. I never had that kind of experience in either the pharmacy or retail side & I've been coming here for years. Sometimes you can get lucky & there's hardly a line or no line at the pharmacy or front checkout. In the front there are self-checkouts if you're in a rush. The cashiers are always pleasant & helpful! While the staff can look a bit stressed(understandable since the store often seems understaffed & it can get busy),they always do their best. Kudos to them for pushing through! The sales floor is consistently clean, well-stocked, & organized. I know it's not easy to maintain,so big thanks to the staff! I will definitely continue to come here for my medications & to use my coupons on the retail side. Sometimes the CVS app has valuable coupons you can load into your account. Ding, ding b/c who doesn't love a deal!

If I don't take an antibiotic for a few days when I have a raging UTI, will I die? My doc called…read morethe script in early Friday AM, and a text came in around lunchtime that they've received the request and will text when it's ready. Note: that would be a total lie, once again. Waited. And waited. Called their mobile number around 1 p.m.and was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. Didn't get a text. Called again and was told it wouldn't be until after 5:15. Decided to drive there anyway. I knew they were lying (based on past experience). Waited in a long line, only to be told they didn't have it in stock. The pharmacist had to step over loose bottles and pills all over the floor, and even grabbed a couple of plastic baskets filled with assorted bottles, checking each one, hoping against hope that one would be antibiotics. No luck. They sent me to another branch. I will never, ever use that CVS pharmacy again. And it's not their fault, it's corporate trying to make a buck by understaffing the place. And that's no lie.

My experience at this store is in dealing with the pharmacy and specifically the pharmacist, Mike…read more I was in CT visiting family and had brought a medication I had to take daily, at the same time each day. When it was 7:30pm and I went to take my medication - (the medication switched to a new one as I became closer to delivery in my pregnancy and it was an injection), I realized the new medication was labeled and boxed as a "pre-loaded syringe" but was missing the needle to subcutaneously inject. After multiple calls to my doctor, my family realized this Walgreens location was one of the only pharmacies open late. My doctor hadn't realized a separate order was needed for the actual needles and then was with patients. It was nearing 9:15pm at this point, the pharmacy was closing at 10pm, and had multiple people in line and was working on a number of additional orders. In the midst of it all, Mike was happy to help. He reassured that he had needles in stock once the doctor called it in, walked us through the different size options, tried calling the doctor himself, and compared everything to the prior injection I'd been on. In reaching the doctor, we realized I could stay on the prior medication I'd been on for another night or two (not an easy medication to find itself), and Mike had it, and immediately prepared it for us. Earlier in the evening, my doctor said it was probably okay to go one night without the medication, but admitted when we spoke to her at the pharmacy that actually she was nervous telling us that. Given those comments and all of this being new territory with a new medication, Mike was so calm, reassuring, competent, and helpful. While it used to be protocol to counsel a patient on a new medication, that does not happen at my local Walgreens anymore. Mike went above and beyond the call of doing this.

Their pharmacy is completely out of. touch with customers…read more Long waits for inside and outside pickup. Total disregard... They work in slow motion and closed on Sundays! Beware of lunch time schedule or declared holidays. No matter how many in line plan to wait even at your turn. Forget trying to get them on phone. Rite Aid is difference as in day and night.

Ok, First, the Pharmacists....You are NOT Physicians, you are NOT Gods so stop acting like you're…read moreeither. They DO NOT understand the laws, Federal or State, regarding the dispensation of medications. I recently went through a pretty invasive surgery. Prior to this, I was prescribed a specific dosage of medication. After, my dosage was cut in half by MY SURGEON. Because my previous medication was a higher dosage, the Pharmacist claimed he could NOT fill the LOWER DOSAGE because there was still time left on the higher one. WRONG....either an out and out Lie or complete ignorance of the law. And I know this because I've educated myself on the medication I take for the last 14 years and it's been done umpteen times in the past. It's the pharmacist responsibility to KNOW THE LAW and to not GUESS or simply say NO because he doesn't know. So, after being prescribed the lower dose, I did the responsible thing and got rid of the extra higher dosage ones, only to be told "Nope, yer not getting the lower dose your Doctor wants you to take. THIS resulted in me having NO MEDICATION for the last three or four days! Then there's the OTHER medication that hasn't been filled because they are "waiting to hear from the Doctor". WHY? Why is taking two days to fill a script ? Walgreens is the WORST Pharmacy in the area for the simple reason that the Pharmacists are sorely lacking in training and even common sense. DO NOT take the chance with you or your family's health by using this Pharmacy! It's no wonder you get one Star reviews!!! UPDATE...It's now been three days with no medication. NOW, the Pharmacy is blaming the insurance company even though I have repeatedly stated I would pay out of pocket. Even my Doctors have thrown their hands up and are at a loss as to why these incompetent pill pushers cannot do the simplest of things. Incompetence on the Pharmacy is the only thing I can say. I'm DONE with Walgreens as is the rest of my family.
