Do not use this Walgreens for any prescriptions you need filled or refilled. The Pharmacy is closed 3/4 of the time as they don't have enough pharmacists. When there is no Pharmacist on duty they cannot dispense any medication. When they are there the Staff is not helpful. Went this morning to pick up a prescription and was ignored by the only person there as she stared at her computer and munched on her breakfast. She then proceeded to tell a late arriving staff member that they were short handed. She started answering the phone and telling people to call back as they were busy! I have tried waiting for this store to sort out this problem but have decided to switch to CVS. Why doesn't Walgreens just close this Pharmacy instead of leaving people in the lurch for their medications? Where is the store manager? read more

Edit that now they close at 6pm. There are no notifications of these changes to their customers. I have started to contact my drs to have prescriptions moved to a more reliable drugstore. It's the end of the Walgreens era apparently. read more

Horrible customer service. Pharmacy is so slow. As a provider, I sat on hold for a total of 2 hours. My clients deserve better service.

Horrible experience with Covid drive thru testing. They lost my Covid test result even though I was in the same car as my husband and got tested at the exact same time (he got his results in an hour). After calling for two days, the manager was unable to provide any answers, and even told me he "didn't have an answer for me," kept putting me on hold and giving me different phone numbers to call to try and obtain my results myself. Zero empathy or accountability. Avoid for Covid testing and from the looks of the reviews, just find a new pharmacy altogether. read more

First time in this Walgreens. I went in for a covid vaccine on Friday morning. This was a lot for the staff to handle, people coming every 15 minutes. Paperwork to check and correct, after shot monitoring etc.. The staff was wounderful. Helpful, friendly and doing their best to keep things on time. The pharmacist, Eleana, who was giving shots and overseeing the whole thing was friendly and efficient, a truly sweet person. Great experience at Walgreens. I placed a new script for pick up and they emailed me that it was ready: I made 2 special trips on 2 different days to pick it up only to find a sign on the Pharmacy: No Pharmacist on duty so no pick up available. I'm very displeased with how the hours of the pharmacy are, as well as their task at hand to refill prescriptions. I called today to see if my script was in ( went there yesterday to pick it up, after the text saying it was ready, only to find out they did not have it in stock ), to find out that they were closed again in the afternoon? There's only certain times I can pick them up. Why is that " I " have to contact MY Dr and get them to send it somewhere else because they can't have my prescription in stock or aren't open? And I can't even go and get it, if it's there, because they're closed?? Every month I get the same medications. So is my fault that they didn't call it in to get more from the distributor?! This is ridiculous. The staff is very friendly and help you out, when they are there. The long lines could be cut down if they weren't laughing and talking so much to each other. With this, I will only give 2 stars. Sorry, but not sorry. read more

Refilled a prescription here as I was driving from Foxwoods to NYC and this seemed like a good mid-way point to get some errands done. Came in to find out they never filled my prescription and I had to wait 15 minutes. Hate when this happens. Other than that, they got it done, so I guess.... 3 stars? read more

Complete garbage. Dropped off my script and was told to come back in an hour after receiving a text. Didn't receive the text an hour and all later. Called with no response. Drove down to ask what's up and they apparently completely forgot about it. Then I was told it would take another hour. All together I waited about 3 hours to have my prescription filled. I didn't know the DMV took over the Walgreens Pharmacy operation. read more

I have to say that I've been to many Walgreens (because I LOVE WALGREENS), as a matter of a fact there is a Walgreens just a few blocks from my house in (w. Haven) but I always come to the one in Milford, I just LOVE IT! Everyone is so nice, from the Cashier to the girls at the pharmacy, I love everyone's attitude. I'm writing this review because people usually complain about everything but they forget to acknowledge the good things! This used to be my favorite pharmacy. I changed my prescriptions from the less expensive Express Scripts because the staff was so knowledgeable and accommodating. They knew my needs and prescriptions and everything was on time and they even remembered to type in my rewards card at the drive thru window. Walgreens moved the chief pharmacist to the other Milford location and service and attitude has gone down tremendously. read more
