This is a terrible pharmacy. They don't follow the doctor's orders. They partially fill prescriptions to force you to come back to the store more often presumably to sell more stuff but it inconveniences the customers. Poor service. No callbacks. When you want to reach a pharmacist, good luck with that. Store manager is useless. Look at any review site. There is a reason their ratings are abysmal. I have been very sick, not covid, and this pharamacy is getting used to seeing my face. They helped me as much as they could when my ex dropped me from his olan after divorce and his company did not send out cobra. The site is very busy, there seem to be many people working in the pharmacy and sometimes the manager us back there too. If its refills call early. If its a same day med they may need a little time but they will get to it if its important. Very caring and understanding staff just very slammed at this location. read more

I would post 0 stars if I could. Do not use CVS as your pharmacy or shop there. They have extremely poor service. They let me sit in line for over 15 minutes and closed before I could pick up my medications. They knew I was there. They did NOT send anyone to help or put out a sign stating that they are over loaded and couldn't get to everyone. They just let me sit there. I will not shop at CVS again. read more

This CVS is generally well-stocked with your everyday items and I have rarely had any issues with medications not being readily available to be filled. There seems to be very low turnover at this location (apart from the pharmacy interns) and the manager is always very friendly. Any time you walk in the store, if he is near the front entrance, he'll always wave and welcome you. He also knows where every single item in the store seems to be, so don't hesitate to ask him or any of the other employees. Also, if you don't actually go inside, the drive-thru has several over-the-counter medications available for purchase, so it can save you a trip. Overall, as far as large, chain pharmacies go, this is a pretty good location. read more

This location is absolutely vile. We went here to get a vaccine because they had an appointment that was convenient for us. We walked in and the store looked unkept. My husband used the men's room and said it was dirty. I used the women's room and it was also dirty and unkept. We wait to be called back for our vaccine and the staff at the pharmacy looked like they'd been working non stop for days. The woman who was to administer the vaccine was flaky. She kept forgetting things and having to go back to the pharmacy. The wait in the vaccine room was long enough for us to notice that it was gross. You could tell that room had not been cleaned in forever. The floor was visibly dirty. There were empty needle wrappers and empty vaccine bottles lying on the floor under the counter. The counter was disorganized with piles of stuff covering it. The room was also being used as miscellaneous storage which looked like stuff had just been thrown in the corner. This is supposed to be a pharmacy and a place for health and wellness. Hundreds of people through sick with various illnesses and the store is just dirty and gross to be in. My advice to avoid this location if you actually care about your health. read more

This is the worst CVS, and really the worst pharmacy, I've ever gone to. Here's are some of the problems I've had: 1. They're slow in taking care of a short line of customers, even in the prescription pickup line. 2. They appear poorly organized, since they take a long time finding prescriptions. 3. Overall, they are poorly stocked on relatively common medications, and many times need to order them. 4. They didn't notify me when there was a delay ordering a medication. I had to call after waiting a few days. 5. Even when they have stock, it can take 3 days to fill a prescription sent in by my doctor for immediate use. 6. Without any forewarning or reason they cancelled my delivery of urgently needed medications. 7. They took 2 months to take care of my insurance prescription authorization. They kept faxing the form to the wrong number, and they still didn't get it done after I corrected them. 8. They took 2 to 3 months to correct my CVS account. I had an account, but they created a new one anyways, but then entered prescriptions under both. Pickup was always painfully tedious, and every time they promised to correct the problem. By contrast, the CVS at Ina Rd. & Thornydale is awesome. They're quick, efficient, highly competent, and well managed - the complete opposite of the Cortaro location. read more

This is the worst CVS pharmacy I have ever used ever not just in Tucson but in America! They can never keep help every single time I go there is a new tech that is just as stupid as the last the pharmacist are extremely rude and have no idea what is going on because they've got their head so far up their rear they can't tell what time of day it is and they never have medication in stock ever. I have tried three times to get them to order my medication three days before it's due to be filled and every time it's either not there or they've given it to somebody else. Went in for a scheduled vaccine appointment, and there were over a dozen others that had been waiting for their appointments as well (even one woman who had been there over an hour) - this pharmacy does not understand the concept of an "appointment". I also overheard the pharmacist berating her staff for checking people in for the wrong vaccines, so who knows if people were actually getting the shots they signed up for. read more

Post oral surgery I needed antibiotics. It wasn't filled until 21 hours and 4th trip to pharmacy. Then this morning 5 days post op the third prescription was ready. I have used CVS for decades and different parts of the United States. This by far is the slowest pharmacy yet. Gonna have to go back to Ina and Thornydale. read more

This CVS Pharmacy has no standard of care. They contradict your prescriptions that your doctor wrote for you, essentially preventing you from getting medications. Putting up more barriers to receiving care than necessary. This evening in fact, they closed the drive-thru pharmacy in my, and multiple customer's faces, because they were now "closed" now. It was 7pm on the dot and myself and another car behind me were in the pharmacy line "before 7pm" if we're playing this way. Needless to say I have notified my doctor and all scripts will be pulled to another pharmacy. Not that they care though. The only person who gives a damn is that poor store manager, Paul. He does a fantastic job at managing the store end, however; I doubt has little role in managing that sinking ship of a pharmacy. read more

This is a review of the CVS Pharmacy only! My usual pharmacy got the prescription from my doctor's office, but didn't have the medication on hand until Monday (this was a Friday). I went to several Walgreens before finding out no location in town had it. I called every Walmart and three CVS stores to track down this medicine. No one had it. One CVS did (not this one), but they wanted $300 for it. I gave it another shot and rang this location. The man who answered was one of the rudest people I've ever spoken to at a business. Multiple other pharmacies had indifferent or only slightly customer service-y sounding people who answered, but this guy was Next Level rude. I learned later I was pronouncing the medication wrong. Instead of asking what the medication was for and whether I was saying it wrong, he rudely informed me multiple times, "That's not a medication. That's a body part." Over & over with his poor attitude. I realized later the girl from my doctor's office who called in the meds had called it the word I then started calling it. Without a physical script in hand, I didn't realize my mistake, but this guy was over the top obnoxious about it. I got so fed up with him that I told him he was very rude and was entirely unhelpful. I'm not sure if he was an actual pharmacist or a pharmacy tech, but this guy should be kept away from the phones and possibly away from the public. read more

They said my script would be ready by 6 pm. I came the next day and it was not ready at 2 pm and I was told to take a seat and wait. I left and had the script sent across the street to Walgreens. They had previously failed to cancel an old script as directed by my PCP and failed to do so when I have fought with them for 5 years that I am not on auto-refill. My roommate went to pick up one prescription and they told him they had two ready. Not knowing better he paid CVS $30 and my insurance was billed for meds I haven't taken for overs year. The staff is incompetent and rude. The gimp with the limp asked me how I was while waiting in line while I was picking up COVID medication. I responded fine and how are you. He responded with quote, what do you care anyway. He should be fired. They have cut back their hours. Since my insurance changed they locked me out of the app for ordering scripts. This pharmacy is bad news! The customer service is horrible and they don't know from one employee to the next if a prescription is ready and billed. They tried to charge me even after the insurance paid for! This is the second time I have had trouble with this pharmacy. The first was when it took the lady taking my prescription four times even holding my id to spell my street name correctly and then she still didn't get it correct!! So disappointed. I went to this location because it's close to my house, went mid day to pick up my medication. They didn't have one particular medication available so the very kind lady said a shipment would be coming in later in the day . I said that's okay and would they be able to call me when it comes in? She said yes and even reviewed my number just to make sure it was correct. Never heard back. I just called and they said just one moment let me check if there is enough because there is a lot of people that ordered this before you . The pharmacist checked and there was enough. I explained to him I was promised a phone call back . No apology. At least I rolled the dice and was one of the lucky ones that received her medicine tonite. read more

While I don't need the pharmacy often at all but do very 90 days for one medication, I've found the pharmacy to be awesome. And the overall store staff to be amazing. This store just doesn't keep in stock the most simplest drugs that are used often. I'm told I could pay full price or go back into Tucson to their 24 hour pharmacy to get the predisone drops I needed to start right away after eye surgery. I was told since its a 24 hour pharmacy they keep their stock #'s higher. He told us our prescrption would be ready at the other pharmacy since he called ahead. We drive all the back into town to be told it would be at least an hour or more??? Very poor customer service!!! I won't use CVS again,ever!! read more

Whatever you do, do not rely on the CVS app to tell you when your prescription is ready for pick up. And do not rely on a text message from CVS itself telling you your script is ready. Also, do not rely on the pharmacists themselves for correct information the first time. Give them the "3rd times a charm" chance and it might work but we're over that. We relied on it and drove up to the window only to be told different information from what we had received earlier in the day. The pharmacist asked when we wanted it since it wasn't ready...Uhhh now, that's why we're sitting at your little window... Wrong answer, she said we could "pick it up in an hour." Okay... no, wrong again. "You can pick it up tomorrow" pffft We've given this particular store about 3 months of business and time and time again we have to make two trips rather than one. I'll give Walgreens a shot next time, they're right across the street. If you're simply doing a little shopping customer service has been stellar. Cashiers are really helpful and always willing to point you in the right direction. The one star is for the Pharmacy. read more
