Patron stated the obvious answer as the dentist wanted patron to have plenty of antibiotics for infection. Since previous prescription was electronically sent the dentist provided a written prescription for patron. I will not continue to ramble on about insensitivity towards elderly patrons. I will continue to speak freely in public towards defending those elderly patrons because "I AM" one.

This store sells items in bulk - so it's the perfect place to go to "stock up" on items. However it's the wrong place to go if you just need a single loaf of bread, or a bag of chips or something. This Costco is the only one in the area so it is pretty much packed all of the time. I've never seen Costco empty. The lines are a little chaotic, but they have a lot of employees who are efficient at their jobs and move people through very quickly. The store is always clean and organized which is surprising considering the amount of people that pass through the doors everyday. Costco also sells other necessities, such as gasoline for your car, at a generally cheaper price - which you have access to if you are a member. There is also a tire center, a pharmacy, and a small food court. I find the membership not really worth it for a small household who doesn't need a lot in the way of bulk items.

I am new to town and didn't have my new Medi-Cal card yet. When I called, they couldn't find my insurance on file but kindly told me to just come in anyway. The moment I walked in, an Asian lady with a warm, welcoming smile greeted me and was very attentive. She passed my case to a gentleman who was just as nice, and they went above and beyond to run my old card until they successfully located my file. The only issue was that my ADHD medication was out of stock. Because it's a black box medication, missing a dose can really disrupt your mental health, so I was initially worried. They promised to order it first thing Monday morning to have it by Monday afternoon. Since today is Friday and I just took my last dose, I am really counting on that timeline! I briefly thought about giving four stars because a heads-up call when they found out they didn't have my insurance information before I drove over would have been ideal, because it would have given them enough time to locate me in the system and order it that same day. Ultimately, at the end of the day, what matters most in Visalia's healthcare system at this point for me is being treated with empathy, dignity, and true care. The nice scented store and cool turtle tank give it a welcoming, homie vibe. They treated me exactly how they would want to be treated, and that earns them a well-deserved five stars.
