I take a narcotic for a debilitating pain condition. There is a new rule here that you can only fill a narcotic prescription one day before it runs out. I attempted it on the app yesterday and it said that it was too early. I used the app earlier today and there was an option to refill the narcotic, which I touched, and it went through. I called at 7pm to see when it would be ready, and the pharmacist Allison told me that it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow. I explained that I was out and couldn't stop taking it abruptly. She told me that she understood that, but that she had 7 prescriptions "ahead of mine" which she had to fill tonight (this was 2 hours before closing time.) I was told that to refill narcotics, I had to call the pharmacy and couldn't go through the CVS Pharmacy App. If that were the case, the app should state that and not have an option to order it through the app. I know that I will be writhing in pain for 12 hours until 10am tomorrow. This didn't seem to matter to the pharmacist Allison at all. I even called back two more times to try to get her to understand and fill my Rx, but she wasn't having it. I worked in the healthcare field for more than 30 years, and I would NEVER have let someone suffer like that if I could prevent it--and Allison did it with so little apparent empathy. In addition, I've driven to pick up my prescriptions 4 times this year only to be met with a sign in the drive-thru stating that the pharmacy was closed because there was no pharmacist on duty. No one could even pick up Rx's that had been filled earlier because a pharmacist has to be present for any prescriptions to be released. With the rule that only allows narcotic prescriptions to be filled one day before the previous prescription runs out--that cut it mighty close on each occasion. Take note of the horrible reviews here and be warned. I've had it with Williston CVS. I'm switching pharmacies tomorrow. read more

Apparently the day of simple courtesy from a business' employee are long over. Nasty, controlling & demeaning seem the new norm. The CVS pharmacy on East Noble Avenue in Williston Florida has this down pat! Their pharmacy department is hands down the worst place to do business. My wife & I have been using this store for a few years now. The front end store part of it is always pleasant & helpful. The breakdown happens at the pharmacy. We've experienced as many as five pharmacists during this period & all but one were pleasant, outgoing & helpful. Unfortunately, no pharmacist seems to stay very long. Their assistants are the problem. Two have been great, the rest horrible. They're pompous, demeaning & controlling. Totally lacking in any social skills & completely devoid of any knowledge regarding customer care or courtesy. If you make the mistake of phoning in you first have to go through at least three, often five minutes of telephony crap & hope you end up with the pharmacy. Then you are automatically placed on hold. I have personally waited on hold for 47 minutes only to have one of the assistants pick & ask me to "hold please"... another 13 minutes passed & they hung up! Hanging up on you is a common method of handling customer phone calls. My wife experienced rudeness beyond comprehension. She went into the store to the pharmacy approximately 40 before their lunch. There was a line upon which she patiently waited. When she reached the window the assistant closed it, without a word, meaning they are now out to lunch for the next half hour! Two days ago I arrived at the drive up window with about 15 minutes to spare. There was a car there ahead of me. While I waited I saw that driver take care of three transactions, as the window drawer opened & closed that many times over about ten minutes. Not a problem. They complete their business & pull away. I pull up to the window & greet the assistant, Brett, with a "Good day". She greets me raising four fingers & says "four minutes". It took a second to realize she was telling me I had four minutes. I give her my info so as to get my prescriptions. She gets them. I then proceed to give her my wife's info to get those prescriptions & get told off! I should have given her both orders at the same time, now she has to print another receipt! This is contrary to how it's always been done & doesn't even make sense, Brett is really going to remember my name & birth date & my wife's name & birth date plus the two orders of multiple prescriptions? What a shame, she scans the order & pushes enter on the the computer register to print a receipt! Now she does that twice! I was now reprimanded a third time as she adds that now it's my fault the customer behind me will not get served! As I pull away I see her close the window, without even the courtesy of an apology... lunch time! It's over 20 miles for us to get to this store, is it worth this abuse? Then, upon arriving home, I found that my order was only partially filled. Brett's efficiency is simply amazing. In all fairness, I do not feel singled out or in any way special, we have witnessed many customers being rudely treated by these pharmacy assistants over the years we have been customers there. This pharmacy is a dump. Even though transferring our prescriptions will be an undertaking, it's probably time to change pharmacies. CVS apparently does not want or need our business. read more

CVS Pharmacy is the ABSOLUTE WORSE! I came there around 10:15 am to get my meds and was told it would be ready in 45 mins to hour. Sidenote: prescription was sent the day before around 6:45pm. I came back 3 hours later and my medications STILL wasn't ready. I was told that it would be ready shortly...LIVID! I said okay I'll wait in my car. Returned about 10-15 mins later, the pharmacy is now closed. I asked the clerk why did you close when you knew I was waiting on meds that you said would be ready? She said if the window is closed that means you need to come back after 2pm! I lost it! Are you kidding me?! CVS this is unacceptable and something needs to be done about this. Being told three different times and still no meds is ridiculous. read more

If I could give this CVS location a 0 star I would. They don't even deserve1. They tried to give me the wrong medication through the drive through. It was the brand name and not the generic. My insurance doesn't cover so I pay OOP. She argued with me in the drive-thru and was rude so I left the drive thru and called my doctor to confirm they called in the correct medicine that I have been on for a couple years. I proceeded to the inside counter explaining again that my doctor did call in the correct meds and it took her 10 minutes on the computer for her to tell me to have a seat it will be 10 minutes. I waited and 6 minutes later I heard the pharmacist say my name that my prescription was ready. Meanwhile a lady came in and the two girls were helping trying to find her prescription, they were going through every single bag in those bins looking and searching for over 10 minutes. I politely went to the counter and asked if she could ring me up and she rudely said they were helping the other lady and she said before me. I said no I was before her and I heard him say my meds were ready. She stomped back there and finally got the meds after the lady said she was in no hurry to help me first. She basically threw my meds at me and didn't even say nothing after it was all their fault this whole time! I was there a total of 30 minutes this whole time. Worst CVS I've ever been to. I'm so glad my insurance is changing the first of the year. read more

I went to this pharmacy to receive a vaccination. The pharmacist administered it, but he stood above me to do so and put the needle into my shoulder joint, not my deltoid. I am now 5 weeks into pain, inflammation and nerve issues and several hundred dollars spent on trying to resolve the complications (with several thousand in imaging tests upcoming). Do NOT go to this place for an injection. read more

This is the worst pharmacy ever!! I will never again make the mistake of giving this pharmacy's number to a doctor to fill a prescription. Don't know why I ever gave them another chance! Last night in an emergency room, a doctor called in a prescription for me at this CVS, which my husband went to pick up today. They told him they didn't have the drug that was prescribed and made no suggestion as to how I was going to get it despite the fact that it was absolutely necessary for me! When my husband got home, I called the pharmacy and stayed on the phone on hold for over 30 minutes, then some rude, rude, woman who claimed she was the pharmacy manager got on the phone and told me the drug was unavailable. Can't imagine she was the manager because she was obnoxious and spoke like an uneducated idiot!! Just pitiful if she was!! Outrageous that pharmacy employees didn't let the doctor know the drug was unavailable and made zero attempt to let me know they didn't have it before my husband went to pick it up, and made zero attempt to get it. When I let the emergency room nurse know what happened she said she would call them. She then called me later and said she was still on hold with the pharmacy for TWO HOURS!!! This pharmacy is a complete sht hole. read more

I had a horrible experience today. I am an advent couponer and today I was treated with such disrespect that I am so petered. Michelle, which is suppose to be a shift supervisor has noooooo people skills. She was rude to me and very impatient. I have never had problems with ANY of my coupons or the cashiers before but today she would not accept multiple coupons or ecb's that I tried to use. I don't think it's right how a cashier can see a couponer coming and get mad at us because we are saving money... read more

The Pharmacy is very ill equipped to process prescriptions efficiently and professionally. There is one Tech, I think his name is Kim, he's a large person, nevertheless, he cannot ever get things straight and after spending about 20 minutes in the drive through, he has to get his Pharmacist to come and see what the problem is....within one sentence the pharmacist and I have an understanding and they are able to process my request. This occurs over the phone as well...this man will take forever acting like he is going to take care of you and he just can't...I don't know if he does not understand how to conduct the job or what, he is pretty much the biggest problem over there...I will find out his name and follow up on this post...oh, and if I am in the drive through and he can't get things right, he tells me I am going to have to drive around as there are other people behind me...Which I then say to him, "I was here and have been here going on 30 minutes and you can't get my scripts straightened out, so you have to wait on me too...so he gets his pharmacist and likewise within one sentence my problems are solved.... read more

If I could I would give the pharmacy a 0 they don't even deserve a 1. I've had a horrible time dealing with them. I'm getting sick of trying to jump through loops just to get my child his medicine. He has on several occasions had to go with out his everyday medication that he NEEDS to have daily. Because they refuse to allow us to drop off his script three or four days before he runs out. Just to give them time to refill it and make sure they have enough to give him and give them to to receive the medicine to give him. Instead they make you wait till you have one pill left and then you are at their mercy begging for your child medication and having them go with out taking it. It really does effect your child and they are too heartless too care. Also I understand having your ID to pick the medicine up. I get it it's the law and I signed the paper when I read it. But they are trying to make you have your ID when dropping it off. When you don't have to when you got to Winn Dixie. (Winn-Dixie pharmacy is amazing) i get the ID when picking up meds but if I'm dropping off the script I'm not receiving anything so I shouldn't have my ID. Even when you tell them I'll have it when I pick it up for you guys. They don't care. Some of the employees are rude and deserve to be fired for the way they talk and act to customers! I don't recommend this pharmacy even if it was the last one on earth. They need to be shut down or taken over and replaced! read more

This is a horrible pharmacy. I wont even walk into this place after my experience. Such rude and obnoxious people. The pharmacy ran out of the medication Ive been filling there for 12 years. Again. They gave me part of the order and told me to return for the rest in 2 days. So in 2 days I return and find they will not give me the remaining amount because "we do not fill partial orders" Excuse me??? They said the partial order they gave me should not have happened and now Im out of refills. Of course I asked to speak with the pharmacist who proceeded to tell me I was trying to get my meds early and she was calling my doctor to report me for drug abuse. Now Im furious so I call their corporate headquarters and tell them of experience. They werent happy either and made cvs in williston refill my order as they should have. A little too little a little too late. The insurance company will not accept the order and I have to pay full price and am being monitored. I told the very obnoxious clerk to shove it. After 22 years of using this store I would bleed out in their parking lot before Id step foot in there for a bandaid. I now do business with Walgreens and wish I had switched years ago. Cvs..you suck. Youre overpriced and that sucks. Your people are rude and judgemental and they suck too. Hope you go out of business and they replace you with a Burger King. This store treats people like garbage. The pharmacist needs to be cancelled. read more
