I actually had a very good customer service experience today. And I think that is worthy to recognize. The grocery store was packed this morning as would be expected on a Sunday around lunch. I didn't really come in with a plan so I am trying to decide what to make for the week while in there at the same time. As I was walking around there was who I believe to be a manager or so - he was in a pink shirt today - approach me and ask what I was looking for. I told him and he took me straight to it. Later, when I passed by him again, he asked me if I was still good. Then when I went to check out, I had a good experience with Dresden. He was quick, efficient, kind, professional, and did the job well. I appreciate that he was ringing up the order quickly, packing the bags all by himself, and checking to make sure I was cool with it. He is clearly a hard worker and seems to be a great asset to this local HT. All and all, for someone who hates big hall, grocery shopping, I had a good of a time as I could have. I appreciate the customer service that I personally experienced, and that I witnessed the other people experiencing as well. I am an elderly lady and while I was inquiring of one of the pharmacy staff members about the…read morepricing of a prescription due to previous confused information the pharmacist, Hanna Futrell, decided to insert herself into my conversation with the staff member. She then proceeded to negatively escalate the situation and was condescending and bullish, trying to intimate me and then telling me to leave, to which I refused. I asked to speak to the store manage, and she said she was it. Ms Futrell requires retraining in the simple art of compassion, customer courtesy and de-escalation. She purported to be the "boss" and as such, she should know how to conduct herself professionally. By taking such an aggressive and provocative attitude toward a customer in front of her subordinates and other customers she demonstrated lack of sensitivity for the elderly, thereby creating an unnecessary and stressful encounter. A true professional would have requested to speak one-on-one with the customer, to ascertain whether she could actually be of some help. Her behavior as an employee and representative of CVS was simply abhorrant and unacceptable.
