Finding a good pharmacy is always a lengthy search. Most of the big box pharmacies such a CVS,…read moreRight Aid and Walgreens do you have such cheaper prices it almost makes going through with the continuous frustration and hardships just to achieve the simplest tasks. From being short staffed to feeling way too many prescriptions they always seem to give you the worst looks when they ask when you plan on picking up your prescription and you have the "nerve" to tell them you'd be waiting for it. If there ever is any sort of problem that they might have to call the insurance company the doctor or something might be out of stock it will take you 30 to 45 minutes easily before they call you to the counter to tell you you have to go elsewhere. That's why I was glad to find out that the ShopRite pharmacy in Phillipsburg New Jersey is the best alternative to dealing with the headaches and frustration that you will undoubtably encounter in all of these "super" drugstores. The prices are fair while they may be a little bit more expensive than the big box of chains there definitely reasonable the staff is friendly and they're always well supplied with enough people working behind the counter so that your wait time is greatly diminished. I don't think I've ever encountered a situation where they were out of stock of any medicine nor have I had any issues with them needing to contact someone from my insurance company or doctors office either. I still remember the first time I used their pharmacy they gave me a 20 to 30 minute wait time for my prescription refilled and then I added bonus to be inside a grocery store I took the time to go pick up a few items within five minutes they are calling my name in the loudspeaker I was sure it was to tell me something without a stocker there was some issue but no my order was ready and I was out the door faster than I've been at any of the bigger chains. I advise anyone that has prescriptions to fill especially on a regular basis plan it around your shopping trips and just drop them off and by the time you're finished getting your groceries you will be pleasantly surprised :-)

This pharmacist filled the first at 27 days, and the second. Come the third refill, it got weird. When I put in for my refill he decided that I was to wait 11 days after the refill date. My refill date was the 14th. He arbitrarily said the 26th. When I asked why, he told me that my doctor told him not to fill it till then. Thinking this was a mistake, I called my doctor. My doctor said he had no such conversation, however he had his nurse practitioner call to explain that I was to fill it no later than the 16th so I can travel for work. In a normal world, this would be no problem. But the pharmacist dug in his heels, saying to her "She should have plenty left over." His words. Eleven days. My doctor suggests I find a new pharmacy. I call Giant to recap exactly what happened to the pharmacist. He denied none of it, but for some reason he is pretending that it wasnt him that actually spoke to my nurse. He lied to me by pretending it wasnt him who spoke to my doctors office which was totally bizarre until he made a mistake, exposing his lie. He lied to my nurse, stating she told him to wait till the 26th which she didnt. He gaslit both of us. He claimed "responsibility" while insisting on filling a prescription 11 days late. He accused me of stockpiling, insuinuating -what-? I have a giant Suboxone cartel? He discriminated against me because I am in recovery. He had his knee on my neck and he liked it. The man is a twisted sister. I cancelled my refill and I'll be going to a different town with a pharmacy that doesnt treat people who are trying to do the right thing like sh*t. People are people, whether you have cancer, diabetes or are in recovery. Noone should be treated like this. Eleven Days. A once a month prescribed suboxone refill is not a line at the methadone clinic, sir. Not to worry, weird lying pharmacist guy. Following is my note to Redners/SHIPT service: My husband and I are both 70+ with extreme health issues. Going to the grocery was very difficult and we needed to seek out scattered benches to sit down every 10 minutes or so. Unpacking the car and carrying in groceries took forever. We carried in a small load and had to sit to catch our breath before getting more. I noticed on my stores weekly email flyer that they had your service. I had never heard of this before! About a month ago I tried a small test order to see how it worked. I was surprised to receive a text from our shopper (Kacyann) introducing herself and keeping me posted as she shopped. Giving me info on out of stock items and choices to substitute!! She was amazing!! Next thing I knew she had everything on my porch!! Then 2 days ago I had a very sizeable order and our shopper again introduced herself and again she was amazing!! We could not have been happier! The small fee was definitely worth it as it saved us so much stress and literal agony. We have no family here to help us and your company made us feel human again!! I thank you so much!!! I did leave tip on check out, plus I added a little cash on arrival. I was just so happy! Keep up the great work and hiring such wonderful shoppers!
