I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt but this location is awful. I am now switching my prescriptions to Walgreens. The front end is as kind as can be. The pharmacy on the other hand is the worst I've ever dealt with. Last time i went in, i asked for a script my pcp sent over. She couldn't locate it and asked what it was. I told her and she stated it can only be sold otc. I apologized for the mistake and bought it otc. She was extremely rude and condescending throughout the transaction. I go out to my car and get an automated call from the pharmacy telling me my script is ready. I go back inside and she blatantly rolls her eyes, but i tell her i got a call. Lo and behold, i do have a script to pick up of exactly what i asked for it and it was covered. I worked in customer service so i try to be as pleasant as possible but this woman should not be in the pharmacy at all or any customer facing job. I got at this clinic at 4:05pm reads closed at 4:30pm The person there told me check in because I will be closing soon I go through the hassle of checking in in a computer that doesn't work right with a filthy screen She comes back asks me if I checked in told her yes but gave me appointment for next day She proceeded to tell me she couldn't see me because she had to clean up count her money etc Typical stupid CVS Change time to 4 closing instead of me wasting my time Off to Reliant on Shrewsbury St where I've been before service is second to none read more

This was the worst CVS experience! There was a long line although 2 registers were open. It doesn't make sense to have the 2 oldest employees at the front registers with a long line. I had to wait 20 min in line and my ride left causing me to have to order another ride which means I paid double. Theres no reason for this! read more

For someone with ADHD in college I rely VERY MUCH on my medication so it's the most upsetting thing in the world to hear when your medication is on back order. I asked the guy to look where it was in stock and he told me he could only check within a 20 mile radius so I ask him who can look outside that? Another CVS? He says yes so I ask him if I call another CVS on the phone can they check if they have it in stock and he said he wasn't sure. So I ask him WOULD YOU CHECK IF I CALLED YOU AND ASKED?? Then he was like hmmm if I was busy I'd say no and then he laughs in my face. read more

Worst CVS Ever. I'm giving it one stars because the rest of the store is alright, but the 0 Stars I would like to give this place is based on the pharmacy. The pharmacy has made more mistakes than any other place I can recall. It is always busy. There is always a line. And quite frankly I feel that a lot of the staff is rude. I have been there, they ask for your address to check if the prescription is yours, then pass you the prescription. When you are walking out of the place you check only to see that the prescription is not yours and doesn't have your name of address on it... isn't there a reason they ask those questions? Clearly they don't even pay attention to your answer. Went there another time, supposedly my prescription would be ready for pickup... well they didn't have it; next, I find out that the phonecall they received for the prescription only had my name on it, and no other info about what the prescription actually was. After a few minutes we finally get that organized and they said it would be 15 minutes. 30 minutes later I finally get my prescription. Another time I go in for a refill. They said it would be about 15 minutes. 30 minutes go by so I check to see if they did it yet... whoops they forgot... Finally another 20 minutes and I am out of that CVS... Still not sure why I keep going back here... Must be its proximity to other places in Worcester on Goldstar Blvd. read more

Certainly not my favorite CVS. Only one cashier, with a long line to check out, no sales help to ask for assistance. Next time I feel the need, I will keep on going and stop somewhere else. read more

The pharmacy staff has really gone downhill. As a person who's worked in customer service for decades, I understand being stressed and dealing with problem customers. I sympathize with these people and respect them. However, today we received the worst service ever. My niece was picking up her prescription that she ordered a few days ago and got confirmation was ready for pickup. We went to get the medication and talked to the grumpiest employee I've ever came across. He just said "last name" "first name" "date of birth" in the most annoyed tone. Then he said "it's not ready, come back in 10 minutes." No big deal, things happen. We came back about 45 minutes later to give them some extra time. Same guy again, same routine. This time he said "look, it's not ready". My niece politely asked when it would be. He just let out a grunt and hung up. Didn't answer our question. I really don't like to be someone who leaves negative reviews over one bad employee, but this location has given me multiple bad experiences over the past few months. I'd like to note that this is only regarding the pharmacy staff. I've come here with my family for prescriptions but I am not a customer myself. With my current knowledge, I don't think I ever will be. read more

Edit from 5/15/20 You need to do something about the guy without a mask. He fills prescriptions and doesn't have his face covered. We are in a pandemic. I said something and he covered his mouth but not nose. This is against state regulations. We can't shop in your store without our faces covered but he can work there AND FILL MEDICATIONS FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS?! It's disgusting and unsanitary and AGAINST THE LAW. Come on, CVS. I went in the other day to pick up a prescription and the cashier asked me if was pregnant. Surprised, I said no and she said "oh okay, so do you have a UTI? Or a bladder infection?" Mind you, there's a line of people behind me. Also, the cashier appeared to be training someone (an older woman with an accent) so shouldn't she be setting an example? I was embarrassed but I confirmed the UTI. I guess the cashier wanted to know so she could explain that's why I was getting prescribed what I was? The cashier told the trainee something like "She is prescribed Cipro because she has a UTI. You can't take Cipro if you're pregnant so that's why I had to ask." Um...I was prescribed that by a doctor for a reason. There is NO reason for a cashier to announce my diagnosis and also to ask me such personal questions. Other people in line heard. My friend that was with me was at the Dr. Scholl's display and heard the whole thing from there. So yeah, thanks for offending me and following it up with a nice privacy violation. I would have expected a little more customer service and said I felt like a criminal being followed by Detectives there was an employee following me around the store as if I didn't notice it was kind of creepy but I understand area theif is a high rate area for crime . But not every Hardworking Joe from next store who worked over 75 hrs gets treated in such way. Also I lost my membership card and couldn't remember the email or phone number. The clark .. She wouldn't use the store card for me . Making others wait in line while I had to call my wife . Jeeeez just use the store card . It was a $11 Dollar diff with out it.. read more

The minute clinic is not very good the sign in is very ineffective. We singed on and waited for the text. They texted and we went in within a minute but they left. Very frustrating there was no one there in line before us so kind of stupid set up. read more

This review is for the pharmacy! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The drive through is slow and painful. Going into the store is even worse. There is always a huge line. Years ago when I was in line waiting to get a prescription that I knew was already completed, I found myself behind a women with 4 children running around crazed. She was trying to do all of her food shopping at the pharmacy checkout line with coupons etc. I swore I would never go back. I was there again today after 2 years picking up a prescription for someone else. I waited at least 40 minutes between the drive through and waiting inside. There is a BETTER way. CVS in West Boylston in not much farther away and they are always so pleasant! RUN FROM THIS CVS!!! read more

I was the first person at the minute clinic that opened at 8 am. I tried to sign on to the kiosk, but it wasn't on, so I sat down and waited. An employee at the store came over, turned it on and signed herself in, while I was clearly sitting there waiting. Extremely rude. This pharmacy had come a long way! Huge improvement. There are now 3 female pharmacist running that show. They are funny, smart, hard working and FRIENDLY! There might be lines at times, but they open second or even third registers quickly. Huge improvement ladies! Great job! read more

I've lived in a number of states over the last 10 years - Ohio, Massachusetts, Atlanta - and have had to deal with a number of pharmacies. Whenever I move and get new insurance, the insurance agency always wants an authorization or wants to deny benefits, which can really mess up my medication. If I don't get it, it can have bad effects. The CVS pharmacy on W. Boylston St. has been the only pharmacy that has actively reached out on my behalf, talked to doctors, and made sure that I would make it through the transition. I was completely shocked, because I haven't had this wonderful treatment even from other CVS pharmacies. My only regret is that I am going to be moving again for work, and will have to leave this pharmacy behind. The staff was terrific, caring, professional, and proactive. They are an asset for CVS and do their profession proud. read more
