I am just returning from a trip to CVS in Wyckoff and had an awful experience . I purchases 4 items and forgot to use a $5 off coupon. I was told that there was no way to adjust it without me losing the coupons I had used. Then, I said fine, just return it all. So I am waiting, and the "manager" came over. A 25 year old man with a pony tail and tattoos. He told me I needed I.D. to return the items. I said I have the receipt. He said that one item wouldn't return, and that it was in his discretion to allow me to return the shampoo conditioner. You cannot legally make something not returnable without notice. On Monday, May 12, my husband went to Wyckoff CVS and paid $576.74 for a prescription which was for 60 pills to cover a 2 month supply. When I opened the pill container I noticed that the silver cover was torn. When I emptied the bottle it had only 30 pills. It was very difficult for me to reach the pharmacy. I finally reached the CVS store manager who informed the pharmacy manager. When my husband returned a new unopened pill container was given to him with no apology or explanation. I find such sloppiness almost criminal. read more

This was a horrible experience. I had signed in a head of time, and left work, to be there when the time told me to be there. I got there and Waited, The Dr came out and said I am running behind 20 minutes. Fine, 20 minutes, However 40 minutes later I knocked on the door, and said "should I go" she said yes. I wasted 1 hour of my work time. The person in there took an hour of time? This is a minute clinic, if you are that sick, you need to go to the Regular doctor or hospital. The purpose of minute clinic is quick. Also, why make an appointment ahead of time? If it told me 1 hour, I could have worked for an hour, and then gone. WASTE of time, will NEVER go back! read more

This pharmacy went from 24/7 to normal business hours (8am-9pm), making it less convenient for the customer. I plan to switch pharmacies in the next month to find a 24/7 operation. This was a corporate move but I hope it bites them in the ass with a customer churn to find 24/7 pharmacies. CVS increasingly is less customer oriented and more greedy. Walgreens is FAR better in ALL respects. Screw you CVS. read more

Front store is a complete and utter disaster. There is no leadership or sense of company morale. Prices are worse than full-retail on nearly everything in the store. Isles are single lane. Hard to find anything. HOWEVER... Five star rating is for the PHARMACY DEPARTMENT that is consistently overlooked. One pharmacist inparticular should be in a managerial position and that is Evgenija Rizmanoski. I have never seen a more hard-working pharmacist ever. She is knowledgeable, trustworthy, kind, and I've even seen her work unpaid overtime and pay overtime to technicians out of her own pocket and pay out of her own pocket medications customers couldn't afford. CVS corporate better wake up and give recognition where it's due. read more

This is about Minute Clinic, not thePharmacy... When I was there for the flu shot,not a bad wait,and was seen relatively quickly. The guy who took care of me, was great, polite and professional. There was what at the time seemed to be an issue with my insurance, but all is well...so I thought. Today is March 8, 2017, I was seen on Dec. 13 2016. I get a notice today, that there was no insurance on file, Dennis made a copy of the card as well as all the info put into the computer prior to my visit, and written down, and what Dennis did too. So fast forward to today, what am I getting a bill for the darn flu shot? I really do not understand. Empire BC/BS is a major insurance carrier, so there should be no problem, right?!!! Well I am now on hold with them, going on 15 minutes I WILL NEVER go back here, I would rather sit in an Emergency room. Very sad. Dennis was fantastic, but the company sucks read more

Rude female doctor! We (me& my fiance) arrived at the CVS minute clinic at 630p, the minute clinic is supposed to be open till 730p. A sign said 'back at 830', we were confused and signed in (electronically) anyway. Dr. Adoracion Chao comes out of the room and says "I'm closed, I have alot to do". (She must have some how been alerted that we signed in. ) We said "sorry, we were confused by the sign" She said "well I'll take you anyway" (obviously not happy about it) I said "thank you, he only has an earache, it will be quick" And she said "every appointment takes 20 - 25 mins, no quick fixes here) with the same annoyed attitude. Her sign didn't make sense cause it didn't specify AM or PM. We really didn't appreciate the attitude cause we dared to sign in when she was closed early. My fiance was already in pain from his earache, so teh attitude from this doctor was icing on the cake. I'm glad she took us though, earaches are rough. My fiance said once in the room she said she had "somewhere else to be". My fiance is an OTB truck driver. He's away from home 3 weeks at a a time. Even though this wasn't his weekend to be home he made a special trip back to our home state so I could pick him up and take him to a doctor cause his earache was that bad. It was 6:30pm on a weeknight, there's nothing else open but minute clinics so we went to the nearest CVS for care. That's what they're there for. We didn't think to call ahead to check if it was open, the CVS website said they were open from 8:30am to 7:30pm, so we just went. I had no idea they could open and close at whatever hours they wanted with no way of alerting the public. If we knew she was closed we wouldn't of disturbed her. Thats exactly how she made us feel, like we were disturbing her or inconveniencing her because we came during office hours and asked her to do her job. The rest of the pharmacy was nice, and we've been to minute clinics before where people everyone was nice. I have nothing against the minute clinics but I'll never go to the Wycoff, NJ CVS again simple because of the doctor. read more

The store doesn't have a great selection, but I like how the products are on lower shelves to accommodate short people like myself. I usually go in for my prescriptions, and if it's any time before 10 pm the line is an ETERNITY. It's not convenient at all. Even going to the store's front registers as opposed to the pharmacy's registers it takes a very long time. I wish they had a better loyalty system, similar to how Walgreens has Balance Rewards and their monthly coupon books. It would help since all their products cost a ton. If I didn't have to go to CVS to pick up my prescriptions, I probably wouldn't go at all. However, my mom says that their employees are very nice, and one helped her retrieve her keys from the storm sewer outside their front door. There's definitely both negatives and positives to this store. read more

This review refers to the Minute Clinic and not the store itself, though I can't help but associate the two. I have had two negative experiences here, both with regards to the clinic being closed during posted business hours. The first was exactly the same as an above reviewer; I arrived an hour before the posted closing time, and there was a sign stating, "will return at 8:30". I signed in anyway, and the doctor (or possibly nurse practitioner) came out and begrudgingly took me. The second time, I arrived at 1:20 pm. The sign in screen displayed that the practitioner was on a lunch break, but the sign above the screen said the clinic was closed from 2-3 for lunch. I knocked on the door and the nurse informed me that she was on lunch and they wouldn't be taking patients until 3 (this was a different nurse than the previous visit). I clarified the time in case I was somehow misreading my watch, and she informed me that despite the sign saying lunch didn't start for another 40 minutes, she was on break and "had things to do." It is too bad, because the location is convenient but I will not be returning again. read more

I wanted to transfer my prescriptions from Walgreens here, because Walgreens no longer accepts my insurance. I called and asked them to double check that they accept my insurance before coming to pick up a prescription and having to pay full price. The employee rudely informed me that she had to SEE my physical card before being able to check if they accepted my insurance. I asked if I could just give her my info over the phone. She said no. I had to go into the store with a prescription to try it. UM no thanks. I called Rite Aid in Waldwick, and they were more than happy to check. Not to mention, the pharmacist was extremely pleasant! CVS, you shouldn't make me work to fill a prescirption there!! read more

I've never had issues with this CVS. They always have prescriptions ready when they say they will. Also their staff is quite helpful, I've never spent more then 5 minutes in the store without a staff member coming up to me and asking if I'm okay and finding what I need. Another plus is this store is 24/7 which is very convenient. read more

So they dont have my medicine that I need and I needed to wait 3 days for arrival. I go to pick it up at 10:01pm since its a 24 hr pharmacy, but I find out the hours changed now they close at 10:00pm. They are still there but wouldn't give it to me. I'm done with this place, horrible customer service. You don't give someone needed medicine because of 1 minute??? Ridiculous. read more

*Review of their Minute Clinic* I came in for a visit since I was not home (Boston) and the pain I had in the upper right quadrant of my back was getting worse. Not being able to roll over in bed, open the passenger car door or cough without a sharp pain was starting to make me a bit worried. I registered using the computer they have outside the door to the exam room inside of CVS. Registration is quick (name, address, reason for visit etc) and takes less than 3 minutes to complete. After I was done, I took a seat and and waited about 5-10 minutes before being called. Upon entering the exam room, the nurse practitioner introduced himself and asked the reason for the visit. I told him what was going on and he said they aren't suppose to see people for "pain" but he sat down and talked to me anyways. He was easy to talk to and very competent. At first, he thought maybe I had pulled a muscle, but in the end he and I both concluded that I may have a pinched nerve. He advised me to wait a week and go see my doctor if it doesn't get better as well as some OTC medicine I could take to numb the pain. I declined the medication offer telling him I'd rather not take any and just deal with the pain. When I asked how I should pay for my visit and he waived the fee since they're not suppose to see patients for "pain". I'm not advising anyone to go to the minute clinics for pain in hopes of being seen for free. I only mention it because it made the experience even more pleasant. In the end, he wasn't really able to help me but the chat did make me feel better. As far as the actual store, it has most of the things a CVS should have and from what I saw while waiting, the staff is helpful and pleasant. Well, the photo staff at least. read more

The service in the pharmacy department is absolutely APPALLING. I went in to transfer my prescriptions today, (Walgreens no longer takes my insurance), and was forced to deal with a surly, uncooperative member of the pharmacy staff. Rather than welcoming me as a new customer, he spoke to me with an extremely rude attitude, and acted as if I was somehow inconveniencing him, (by asking him to do his job!) He refused to call Walgreens for my old prescriptions, instead demanding that I get them myself and bring them back. He also rolled his eyes at me when I asked how late the store was open that night. I was so bothered by my interaction with this jerk that I couldn't imagine seeing him every month or so while picking up my medications. I decided to go to the CVS in Midland Park instead, where the staff was more than accommodating. I miss you, Walgreens. read more

Really good customer service tonight. I wanted 2 single packs of an item that was on sale and they only had one left. I had 2 coupons so I needed 2. They gave me a double pack at the sale price of the two items (only the single packs were on sale) and let me use my two coupons. Very happy. read more

This is the WORST pharmacy ever. Last month they gave me the wrong prescription which resulted in me hemoraging and reguiring IV treatments. Then they wouldn't fill my perscription after being released from the hospital and having the doctor call in. I HATE this CVS pharmacy. I've always used CVS but will NEVER use this one again!!!!! The pharmacist, Nery Lucero, was nasty, ripped up the perscritpion in front of me with no explanation, and made me wait 45 minutes for the prescription. So disgusted with this service. read more

I don't really understand why everyone is hating on CVS it's not that bad. The cashiers aren't the nicest but they aren't mean or anything. If you want to just get like bread though just go to Stop and Shop. read more

The nicest people work here I always go at lunchtime and am always greeted with a smile at the register (and coming from work believe me I need that) Their prices are ridiculous but I doubt they control that. You can go from zero to $50 in about 2 minutes. read more

I've never had such a poor experience as I have had dealing with the pharmacy. there was a mix up with my script and I got there and they basically told me to leave the store, I don't know if it was because they thought I was trying to get one over on them with the script, even though it was sent through computer, but I had to plead with them to call the doctor for like 5 min, and that I had explained the situation to him. Then it took them 3 days to send a fax for prior authorization. I honestly feel like they try to give you a hard time when you go in there. Every experience I have there is worse then the one before. don't get me wrong, there are one or two people in there that are helpful and polite, but I think that the pharmacy might need a overhaul. read more

DISCRIMINATION AT CVS. I stopped in this store between assignments for a snack as it was the only place in the area open. The white clerks refused to ring me up for a bag of pretzels and a coke. They made up some bs that it is illegal to sell these items after 1. There was a white man who left with a bag of diapers and a magazine. Being a black man in a town like Wyckoff I didn't want to argue. After getting nowhere with corporate I contacted the number on the anti discrimination poster in the store. I spoke with the lady at the NJ Attorney Generals office in Patterson, where she said that there is no law that would have prevented this store from selling me those items. I have proceeded with a formal complaint against CVS. read more

Had a prescription issue that was on them. The managing pharmacist was rude and a bit dismissive. She actually sighed when I asked her for the number to the clinic. I had to go though the whole process at the minute clinic, and pay, all over again. At least it took less time this go around...Over all not a warm experience. read more

This is a review of the Minute-Clinic at this CVS location. Today is Christmas Eve, and late last night I started having symptoms of an illness. I knew that my physician wouldn't be able to see me on such short notice so I thought about trying the minute clinic. I've never been to one before. I went on the website before going and was able to sign in for the visit online. I put my info in, and was giving a confirmation code as well as the wait time. The wait time was 100 minutes; so I planned to arrive about 90 minutes after making the appointment. When I arrived, my name was already on the computer to be seen next but I still had to finish signing in on the kiosk. I easily put my confirmation code on the computer entered some other details and say down. Within minutes I was called in by the APN. She tended to be quickly, called in a prescription to my pharmacy (not cvs) and I was on my way. Was a very easy and pleasant experience especially because I didn't feel well. I would recommend the minute clinic but you definitely have to sign in online first otherwise you will sit there for 100 minutes or whatever the wait time is. As far as the rest of this location, meaning the store and pharmacy, the lines were astronomical. The checkout line for non-pharmacy was through the back of the store. There were at least 10 people deep on the pharmacy line as well. I know it's the day before a holiday but there seemed to be a lack of staff. As far as the pharmacy line, CVS is by far the worst, they always have lines, and they take forever it's not just this location. In fact I don't even use cvs for my medications anymore I use rite aid. read more

Wish I could give less than one star. I know CVS has a card for coupons and such but having so many cards is overwhelming so I tried to turn down their offer at the register, after doing so the cashier became so nasty and refused to ring up my items without a CVS card. I was so shocked I had to just walk out and he laughed as I was leaving, how rude! I called and spoke to a manager who defended his employees ridiculous behavior. The minute clinic was very thorough and Adora Chao was great.

After having problems with a DVD I made for a 40th Birthday Party I was told by a friend to go to our local CVS and make another one there, that it would be an easy solution. NOT the case. There was no one there to help me and when I asked for assistance I was given more attitude by the unwilling employee than help. Once I completed my DVD another employee (since the one I had been asking for help disappeared) who did not know what they were doing ruined the DVD I had made and they were unable to process it for me. I was there for a total of 45 minutes spending most of my time asking and waiting for someone to take the time to help only to be told with yet more attitude "Oh well, make another and if you don't have time I don't know what to tell you". The two employees I had the unfortunate experience to waste my time with were nothing more than rude. I highly suggest taking your photo needs somewhere people understand their importance and this CVS is not the place. read more
