It's only been a month since the pharmacy opened so I will reserve my full judgment for a later date. The pharmacy has limited supplies such as vitamins however there are plenty of small dry good items, cold sodas and water. So, if you need to make a quick stop and get a few cleaning supplies etc. they are available. They also offer a copy and faxing services for a small fee.

I left my information on a voice mail with a promise that someone would return call in a few hours. I got a phone call more than 24 hours later. I requested to transfer prescriptions from another pharmacy over to CVS. I was told by a person in pharmacy that this would be done the same day and I would receive a call or text when ready for pickup. It has now been 3 weeks and no call from CVS. Found out today that they never called the pharmacy to even start the transfer process. I have already contacted another pharmacy. Would never do business with this place again.

WHOA! that was a really long time ago and for it to have remained in my brain that long it must be a great place. There were no chains so you really got to know your local pharmacist. My experiences with Mr. Pepper in the 60s , 70s and early 80s were very good ones. Back in the 60's when your child walked everywhere it was common to send your 8 year old child to pick up prescriptions, greeting cards, pain relievers Bandages ( We had 10 kids) and various sundries. Also, we i suspect a few times our family account might've been in slight arrears in those days but the beauty of this being a true mom and pop was that things were always resolved in a friendly, neighborly way. Fast forward to the 90s and 2000s and I'm not sure if it's still totally in the Pepper family still but my interactions with them as an adult have been pleasant and efficient. Just the other day an elderly friend of mine got turned away from a chain when she showed up for an appointment for her booster because they were overbooked. I got her in the car and I drove her to Pepper's because Pepper's is in her neighborhood. They were kind, caring, respectful toward her and happy to have her business. Try getting that at a Chain. Over a half century after my first experience with Pepper Pharmacy I continue to see That's its still a vital part of the Lansdowne and Upper Darby communities. The store is small but has the basics -pharmacy in the back - health and beauty aids -snacks -drinks -greeting cards -free coffee -tv -chairs to wait for your prescription My order was prepared very quickly that I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly. He informed me that they drop off and pick up prescriptions which is great especially for those that don't drive plus the elderly and disabled. This would have been great when I was home with an infant. My plan forces me to do mail order as much as possible but when I need something asap I will definitely stop here.
