Which I understand in construction things don't always go according to plan. The delay isn't much of an issue. The real issue is the quality of the job. They originally told me the job would take 3-5 days. They finished in one day. Unfortunately due to the month long delay I wasn't here during the installation. I am so disappointed in the quality of workmanship. They broke the window trim removing it and just put the broken pieces back up. I understand that they planned on using the original trim but you always have to either be extremely careful or plan on breaking some and incorporate that into the cost. There are dark spots on the trim that looks like they were sort of painted over. There is a hole in my wall beside the window. There are black spots on my wall that appear to be scrapes. The drywall is torn around the window. The caulking and/or putty around the inside of the window is atrocious. The outside trim wasn't even cut correctly. When I requested that to be fixed they did redo it. Now one side looks alright the other is not. They left a big mess around the windows inside. The one window was left open and unlocked even though they knew I was out of town. I did see some of these issues in pictures that were sent to me and when I asked about these problems, they said if I paid for the supplies they would fix the issues. I said I would fix them myself and they gave me $100 off the cost. So I suppose that is something. I feel like the job was rushed therefore the subpar work.
