I have a medical issue that causes me to get vertigo when I'm in the shower, so my husband watches me in case I have any problems. Then he takes his shower after I'm done. We have never had any problems using the handicap shower together before. The young lady at the counter took two punches off our card and handed us our towels and told us rooms 2 and 3 were open. I asked if the big shower was open because that is what we normally used. The heavy set woman who called herself the manager very rudely informed us that we could not use the shower together. I told her we had always used it and tried to explain that we shared the room so my husband could make sure I didn't pass out or fall and hurt myself. She said she didn't care. When I again told her we had always shared the room, she said she had never seen us in there before and she had been there for 7 years. Basically called me a liar. We have 2 of their shower punch cards! Not only did she not give a rats ass about my situation, she wouldn't credit us back the two punches they took off our card. We are locals and use the services year-round. I can't imagine the owner would want to lose the business of the locals who keep the business going the other 9 months of the year that the tourists aren't here because of how the manager treats the locals. I hope the owner reads these reviews. I certainly wouldn't want a person like that representing my business.

This woman justified her awful behavior and treatment because she's working on her day off and she's off tomorrow. I hope she's not the owner because it was hands down one of the worst interactions I've ever had. J&H fixed it right away. Now, in 2025, the old vacuum just kept running while the switch was in the "off" position. So, back to J&H I go. A new switch and labor for less than $27.00 and the old vacuum might go for another 9 years, ha-ha!

Main room is smaller washer dryers , by change machine is a back room with larger washer dryers. Washers 2.50 each load in main room and 4.00 large one in back, dryers are 25cents for 6 minutes.

We knew we would be coming through earlier so we were a little bummed we may miss him. I found Paul's number and sent him a text. He called me immediately and setup a special time for us to stop in on our way back. We were very excited he would do this. On Sunday 1/19 we stopped in about 12:15 pm and greeted us as we walked in. He showed us different knives and showed us around his shop. My wife and I love to cook so we were in the market for kitchen knives. After looking around and explaining what we wanted he said he could make it. He doesn't technically take orders and you don't pay for anything till it's made. He will basically make the type of knives we want when he is in the process of making a batch of knives and he will text me to see if I want any of them. He doesn't take "orders" because he wants to make what he wants then sell them. He doesn't want to be tied to an order book. I ordered 2 knives and will order a third soon.
