In my line of work these days, I work with the press on a regular basis. The folks at Fox 26 have always been professional and friendly. I don't always like what they (have to) report, but they have proven themselves to be unbiased in my experience. Since this review is based on a check-in at the facility when I was being interviewed on-air, I'll also say that this place is massive on the inside, and that everyone has been welcoming during my visits here.

I meet Mrs. Casey Curry at work one day. She just strolled in looking for supplies with her young…read morechild in her arms. At first I didn't realize who she was I was just helping out on the floor. As I was joking it up with her someone walked by and said " Is that her? I think that's Casey from channel 13 news." At that moment I asked her " Are you Casey..? Casey Curry from the news?" She said "yes I am I'm." I was like " I can't believe I didn't notice right away." She replied "No that's okay no worries." And we just laughed. I asked if I could have a picture with her and she replied "sure." I begin to get nervous out of nowhere like for real I couldn't even control my camera phone. I kept pressing the record button so I kept making videos lol. Then I got it together and took the photo. She was so cool. I made sure not to get her baby in the photo she was holding him off to the side. I hope this review sheds some light on how humble and down to earth Casey was and I bet the whole staff is the same way. The Houston affiliate is muy especial- they have a big skyscraper as a monument to Spanish broadcasting! You gotta love the telenovelas- they're mejor. Regina del Sur, El Senor de Cielo- all are very entertaining. You gotta tune in- and the advertisements on here seem to have more life to them than a lot of the English affilate stations. Starting this week, the line-up from 9 - 12 is GREAT. 9-10 Seinfeld. 10-11 King of Queens. 11-12 Community. I was really glad to see Everyone Loves Raymond leave the nightly line-up. Neither of us are fond of that show and typically call it Everyone Hates Raymond. I enjoy Ray Romano as a stand-up but that show just has never done a thing for me at all. Starting the week of Sept. 12, 2016, Community will no longer appear in the nightly line-up. The Middle (no clue what it is about and do not care) and Cougar Town (do not care it is lame) appearing from 11-12. I mean really???? Community is fantastic. I cannot find it anywhere else to watch FOR FREE. The station does not have all 6 seasons and I can be OK with that because I love the characters, the writing, the entire sha-bang is spot on for enjoyable TV viewing. The quirky nature is pure joy. The Dean is a nut and I love that about him. So now, I will have to find something to replace it. I certainly will not be watching THE CUBE during 11-12. AND the thing is, my husband gets home at about this time since he works nights. It was really great to be able to enjoy this fine show. Nevertheless thank goodness they exist, and long may they continue. We love some of their wildlife shows a little too much, even though they can be harrowing AF.
