I'm not exactly certain how to review a local TV station, but, as a former member of the working press, I really like these guys. In my line of work these days, I work with the press on a regular basis. The folks at Fox 26 have always been professional and friendly. I don't always like what they (have to) report, but they have proven themselves to be unbiased in my experience. FOX 26 Houston is good! They mostly focus on the news, weather, and more. But sometimes they don't concentrate and laugh or make jokes. Also, the schedules on weekdays are great! I think that among the older generations, fox 26 news was always second fiddle to the big three network affiliates local news broadcasts. Such is antiquated thinking. Fox 26 needs not take a back seat to anyone. Every newscast is comprehensive and professional. I thoroughly enjoy their op Ed forum on Sunday titled ,What's Your Point, which is a round table forum of movers and shakers in the Houston community discussing Houston topics. This followed up by Chris Walllaces national political power wow is tough to beat. Meteorolgist Mike Iskowitz is also a value add to their news team. All in all this is an A list station. read more

Ok...I love Fox News and I certainly wouldn't be caught dead watching that comedy .....errrr I mean news channel CNN. Over all the local affiliate channel 26 is prety good on catching us up on the daily happens. Weekends are a little iffy but I'm sure that same with most local news shows. The main complaint is the new segment they gave to Isiah Carry....what a freakIn joke! The guy is such a bad reported that they couldn't send him out on regular assignments so they had to create the "Isiah Factor" for him. It's basically just a bunch of local news interest stories that no one really cares about anyway. It's almost comical just to watch this fool when does his segment. I was able to watch Chanel 26 on Comcast 609. Now when someone starts to speak, some Spanish station butts in and all I hear is this Spanish idiot! Contacted Comcast service and they try to troubleshoot my tv. The person they contact you with is in another part of the country! read more
