Avoid this dealership! Shady business practices, horrible customer service, ridiculous wait times for parts and services. Sold me a motorcycle, failed to mention the title was stolen - now I can't register or title the motorcycle I bought from them in good faith. Had my bike in their shop for almost four months waiting on parts that I was told month after month would "be here any day now". A service department that can't install a headlight, a title clerk that can't find your title, the list of times this business failed me is endless. On 07/09/22 while dropping my motorbike at their shop for repair I had noticed a 2005 Silver Honda Goldwing in their shop holding area and was informed by the technician that Bo BOBBIT (Owner) Cycle Speciality had this Motorcycle for sale and that they needed to service it to make sure that any defect was repaired. I went to Bo Bobbitt and stated that I was interested in giving a deposit to hold and buy the 2005 Honda. Bo Bobbit agreed to my interest to purchase and wrote up a bill of sale and stated that once his technician inspected the bike and repaired any defect he would sell this bike to me. On 07/23/22 I received a text from Bo Bobbitt stating that this bike had been serviced and was road ready. I finalize the purchase that day and took possession of the motorcycle. I drove the bike about a mile away and notice that the bike was jerking very bad in 5 gear ( overdrive gear). I had taken the bike back to the owner and informed him that this bike is defective and was not suited for the purpose I bought it for. The owner was not trying to give me my purchase money back. I filed a claim in Fayette County Magistrate Court and won this case. Never purchase a used bike from this place without a 30-90 min warranty. read more

Went to Cycle Specialty today to purchase what I was told was a Wolverine R-Spec. Owner had one listed at $6999. Agreed on $6700 cash before making a 3 hour round trip. Was told unit was serviced and went through what items had been serviced. We arrive and find out one was not an R-Spec, which I had confirmed, had not been serviced and presented with a $6900 price. The other unit, which was advertised at $6999 was now $8400 plus tax. One of the most dishonest and unethical experiences I have had with a dealership. Complete waste of a day. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. In August I ordered a part from out of state over the phone. It came in the mail about a week or two later. It was the wrong size (they were the ones who told me that's what I needed). I called and they said they could do a return or replacement with the right size, but would need to pay the difference since it was more expensive. So I opted for the right one. They needed to send me a shipping label to return the old one before they could go through with the correct purchase. A week goes by and there's no label in the mail yet so I called and spoke to the man who did my order originally and was supposed to ship the label back. He said they'd get it out that day. So I wait and wait and wait. No label. I keep calling and leaving messages for the same guy to return my call or to at least send out the label. A month or two goes by with no label and no returns on my calls. Finally I call and talk to the manager and he says my info got lost in the system so they'd fix that. He apologizes for the inconvenience and offers to give me the right one at cost with no up charge except what it actually would cost him and offers to give me a good deal on another part that goes along with it. So I said ok and that I still need a shipping label to send back the old one. He says he would transfer me to the original man because he didn't know how to do it. So the other guy was supposed to send me a shipping label and it ends up coming in the mail over a week later. I send the old part back and they were supposed to call me when they received it so they could go ahead and get the new order put in. At that point they would let me know the exact amount that my card was going to get charged for (they said between $40-$45) and that the parts should be there within 3 days of the return. Well over a week goes by and no call. So I call them about 8-9 days later and the manager answers. He said nothing has gotten there yet from my return and I told him I was still waiting for a total price on the new parts. He ends up telling me its going to be $60 instead of the $40-$45 that we had agreed upon. I finally just tell him I want my refund because I wasn't going to pay an additional $60 because of their screw up and because it wasn't what we agreed upon. He says he will do that when he receives the old part. I called UPS and it was delivered 2 days after I sent it out and here it was over a week later!!! They had no idea it was even in their own place even though someone had to sign for it! Needless to say I called them back and told them when it was delivered and he said ok and that they'd process my refund back to my card. The next day I look at my bank account and they charged me a second time instead of refunding it!!! I was furious and called them back to find out what the H was going on. He said a mistake was made, but they corrected it. So I was out of that extra money for almost a week until it was credited back to my account, leaving my car payment to be late and having issues with them because I didn't have the extra funds to pay it because of their screw up of taking extra money out instead of a refund. I waited over 3 months and still offered to pay the difference for this part, but after so many screw ups and then telling me it was going to be even more than what we had talked about, I just wanted my money back. Horrible organization at this place and the manager seems to have no idea what is going on at his own store. read more

I recently purchased a used quad from cycle specialty the day before leaving on a trip to the Glamis sand dunes in California . Mike informed me the quad was serviced and ready to go. I had no time to really check the machine out on a ride before hand so off we went. I've had zero issues with it and as time has allowed everything they said they did to it appears to be true. The best part of my experience with Bo and his team has been the service after the sale. Because I purchased a bike there they listed and sold for me my existing bike. No commission or fee for doing this was charged. They are also very knowledgeable and helpful. My friends and I will definitely be doing business with them in the future. read more

Been looking for a few rivets for my pro circuit silencer for a week and could not find them. Final I called Robby in service, he told me to come by and look through his supply. He had the rivets I need and would NOT let me pay for them! As always I get the best service and treated like king every time I'm at Cycle Specialty! They always go out of their way to keep me and my sons riding. Bo has personal gone out of his way on a Saturday to get my sons bikes running for Sunday. My dad bought my 1st bike from Bo over 25 years ago. I now live over 30 miles away. I gladly pass 2 other Cycle dealers that are a lot closer to my house and work on the way to Cycle Specialty and they never let me down! Thanks for a life time of fun riding! read more

was told one purchase price and was later told a higher price and salesman said I was confused. I do not get confused about money, and salesman said to come back when I could afford a motorcycle. I have bought 3 new bikes and 2 used bikes but will not deal with bait and switch pricing. I still will buy a new bike but not there. read more
