New Aventon Aventure! First test ride Craggy Wash Lk Havasue AZ. Nice bike! Love the fat tire steady through loose gravel, jagged rocks on this trail. Climbed uphill with very little pedal assist only on very steepest of grades so torque was impressive. Much smoother take off than my crank drive bike I traded in. Very pleased! I drove from Phoenix on Jan 15 to buy a specific Trek. According to Trek's website, it was the only one in this particular size/color in the country left so not many options but the positive reviews were comforting. Worst customer service anywhere between California and Arizona. The only guy in the shop was trouble shooting an electric bike on the telephone for 15 plus minutes, without asking if you need help. He made eye contact twice while I was standing at the counter, with my wallet out on the counter. He disappeared into the back of the shop and return to see I was still waiting. But, no "hold on I'll be with you or can I help you." I politely stated I'm looking for a tire tube. Only to hear, can't you wait I'm on the phone. Eventually you have to walk away. read more

I ordered a bike from Trek in October. They couldn't get it but told me that Cycle Therapy had it. Made arrangements to drive from Los Angeles to Lake Havasu to get it. While building it, they noticed the frame was cracked. They got on the phone with Trek and got them to paint a new frame for me in the color I needed, ship it to Los Angeles, and get it swapped all within 5 days. These guys did whatever needed to happen to get it done. Followed up with me by phone, etc.... All this for a bike that they were the only shop in the country to have in stock. Excellent bicycle shop! Arrived this morning before they even opened and one of the employees in the parking lot told me to come on it. I had broken a spoke and some other things on my road bike, and I needed to head back to Flagstaff this afternoon. Not only did they fix my bike, they discovered a few other issues and fixed those too. They rented me a MTB at a discounted price to ride while they were working on my bike, and had me out the door with the rental bike before they were even technically open! Could not recommended more! With summer soon approaching, I determined it was high time to get serious about getting back into shape and increasing my endurance and stamina. As I considered the different methods available, i,e walking, running, working out at the gym, weight training, aerobics ectara, I came across a YouTube video that was doing a comparison of the most popular electric bicycles "ebikes" for 2023. While watching the video and mulling over in my head what type of exercise program I would be most likely stick with and possibly even enjoy, I decided to look at ebikes. Never having owned an ebike before, I began my initial search online. What helped me the most regarding the different manufactures and the models they offer was the reviews. The reviews were very educational and a great deal of importance was placed on regular and proper maintenance of your new ebike. It was at this point that I decided to do business here locally in Lake Havasu City, as opposed to buying something online. I stopped in at "Cycle Therapy" and was greeted by Brett, the owner. Brett earned his 5 stars due to his knowledge of bikes, his relaxed demeanor as I never felt pressured, and his ability to size me up and put me into the best ebike for me. Needless to say, I purchased the bike and it has been one of the greatest investments I have ever made for my health and well-being. Idk what it is with businesses in Vegas, but it brought me here over a month ago. The LBS were horrible to deal with "nothing under $3k" and stuff. For what ever other reasons the Craigslist's and offer up we're just about as bad from people wanting used money over new bike costs on used bikes. Used mongoose for 450 when new it's 200 from Walmart. Which brought me out to this place. And a review that's way over due. We come out on Memorial Day weekend. They held a bike for me but refused to let me buy it before I sat on it and knew it fit. I'll admit I was a little annoyed by it, before I asked to put deposits down on items only to get to what ever store and find out it's sold by "accident". Well not here. He had the bike put to the side with a deposit I didn't even need to leave. And they were 100000% correct. Once I sat on it and told him what I planned on buying he pointed me to a whole different bike. That while it was 100$ more overall, the parts where way better. Basically going from a Marlin 5 and buying a upgraded new fork, derailer and seat to a X-Cal 8 that I just bought a dropper post for. 2 weeks later and only thing I'm upset about is him not putting me on a Fuel ex 8 lolol. These guys were great. And even though he had so much work to do, he took the time to help me, never rushed me, in fact made sure my bike was all ready to go instead of pushing me out the door at the close of business and other work to finish. And for that my "lbs" is 150 miles+ away. Some of these local Vegas businesses think because anything outside the city is a ways away we won't go there. I will. I've ordered stuff from Cycle therapy now even though my "lbs" is less then 10 mins away due to their attitude. I'll wait a extra day and even pay shipping before I'll support as**oles locally. read more

Went in the Cycle Therapy to look at a mountain bike for my husband. After seeing their selection, I decided that I needed an upgrade as well. I spotted a used Townie bike out front (that was a trade in for an electric bike) and wanted it. They got it all cleaned up, a full tune-up and I also got a really nice magnetic phone case and holder (so my phone is easy to see when I get a call.) Also, the prices are very fair, I must say. , i saw a used bike i liked there, dude working says the bike was on consignment and he wasn't sure of the price, he'd have to contact the owner. a week goes by and I call to inquire bout the bike, dude says oh, the roscoe 8, the owner wants 900, so i say I'll be there at the end of the week, guy says you bet. The week end comes, I drive 45 minutes to the shop, walk in with cash, Brett says he has no idea what the bike cost and that theres two guys in front of me waiting for the bike, which was never mentioned by the other dude working . I tell him, brett the story and the deal the dude says over the phone and that bike blue book or whatever the fuck book list the bike at 70 dollars or so less 900, Brett says oh no the bikes are selling for original price, doesn't call his co worker to verify what I say or check about the over the phone deal, basically leaves me with my dick in hand, no bike, no smile no effort on his, Bretts part, no nadda bien. basically fuck cycle therapy for getting my hopes up, waisting my time and fucking with my psych to ride. shitty customer service Brett, you suck man. read more

I arrived in Lake Havasu with a high end Trek mountain bike for a couple of days of riding at Sara Park and around the lake only to discover my cleats were worn beyond any fix and my rear derailleur hanger was bent. Came in with an old bike with a flat, upgraded to tube for thorns, and then on way home other tire deflated. Brought back and updated that tube, then had basic maintenance done, new brake pads as old ones were junk...also got a new water bottle as non-BPA upgrade needed. They hauled my bike in and out of SUV for me twice, and now I have a basically new safe bike again. Price was reasonable, service was quick and everyone there very nice.
