I love cycling and group fitness classes, so I knew I would love cyclebar. My friend is an instructor, so I went to her class and instantly fell in love! The loud music and the colorful lights really makes you forget that you're working out! The instructors give you suggestions on speed and resistance, but you can really make it your own! As you can tell I love coming to Cyclebar thanks to my favorite instructor Natalie who is pictured in the primary photo for this place with me. Why do I love Cyclebar? I feel like Cyclebar is like getting away from everything that just seems to be negative and stressful in my life and turns it around for 45, 60 or 75 minutes depending on the type of ride I do that day. What is my favorite ride at Cyclebar? I would have to say the Performance ride is the best ride, because it challenges me to be the best version of myself and really motivates me to do better every time I take it. What is the classic ride? The classic ride is 45 minutes of riding to the RPM the instructor tells you and also uses the weight bar, it is not heavy stats like the performance ride is. Onto the performance ride, it does not use the weight bar and uses the stats to get the riders to ride longer to intervals like hills, etc. Next is the connect ride, that is another ride similar to the classic but with a bit of a twist where the instructor can throw in anything like higher RPM's, etc. Finally, there is the endurance ride. It took me about half a year to get to that stage. The endurance ride challenges you for 75 minutes on the bikes with hills, intervals, and everything you might imagine to be able to endure on a bike. If your training for a Peletonia, this is your best bet! Why do I love my instructors? My instructors really motivate me no matter how I'm feeling that day. Their words can transform your worst work day into a beautiful and nice end to your long day. I think of Cyclebar as my, "home away from home." The instructors and staff are truly like family to me. I would highly recommend it to anyone from beginner to expert rider level. read more

So nice and everyone is friendly! Great amenities and they make you feel like VIP guest. lol everything is there waiting for you. All you have to do is show up and they will take care of the rest. Worn out equipment. Bikes jammed so close together that the people riding next to you splash sweat. Inconvenient class times. One good instructor (Amory) and a bunch of terrible ones. The "community room" is so small that there isn't room to change your shoes after class. Not to mention they lure you in with a promotion and make it tough to cancel. I've tried twice to like this place because I like spinning, but it's actually miserable. I won't be going back in to use my membership. Just waiting for it to expire.​ read more

Cyclebar Polaris is amazing! It's become part of my routine 4-5x a week! I cannot hype up Cyclebar Polaris enough! I hit the ground running even before taking my first class and bought the unlimited ride package for a promo being offered for $99 a month for a year! Best decision I've made! If you do not want to buy a package or rides your first ride is FREE! Cyclebar Polaris has changed me so much! I've only taken 6 class and I love it - and this is coming from a guy who hates working out! The staff is immensely friendly! And the owner Danielle is very involved and awesome! This cycle bar is so awesome! The staff is very helpful and welcoming from the moment you walk in till you walk out. I haven't been to a cycle class in awhile and they helped me get all set up without making me feel silly. The tide kicked my butt! It was the ultimate cardio session held in a club-like atmosphere. I really enjoyed my workout at CycleBar Polaris (well, as much as one can enjoy a workout...) From the minute I signed up for class, everyone was super friendly. I even received a reminder call the afternoon of telling me that I was scheduled to attend and if I didn't like my bike number, they could swap it for me no problem. When I stepped through the door, every person I encountered was friendly and ready to help or answer questions. They even gave me a water bottle! The instructor (Kelly) helped me get set up on my bike and kept the class energizing throughout. I appreciated that she kept us up to date on how much time was left during the different stages (it gives me that extra push!) and the music paired with class was great. I felt like I got a really good workout in. My mom's a spin instructor and so I know what to expect and CycleBar did not disappoint. You guys. This new spinning studio I got to preview is ahhhhhmazing. If you haven't gathered yet, I am no cardio queen. As a health professional, I know very well how important cardiovascular fitness is as part of a complete program, but (groan) must I?? If it's not dancing, I am going to need something pretty awesome (or someone kinda mean) to get me on board. Enter: CycleBar, which fits the former, pretty awesome, category. They were already on my good side for including me and my husband, Julian, in this free preview class, but it takes more than that to get me excited about non-dance cardio. What is this all about exactly? If you have never taken a spinning or indoor cycling class, the whole idea is to use imagery and music while pedaling at varying speeds, in different body positions, with more or less resistance. From a totally objective standpoint, that's all folks! But one person, one time, told me it was "the hardest workout ever!" and I regarded her as a very fit athlete. That's when I decided I must not be strong enough to succeed at it, so I avoided it for years. Haven't we all done that about something? Then, I tried a class at my gym over 3 years ago after my daughter was born and discovered that it's only as hard as you make it, and it's only as good as the instructor and class you're in. I have been lucky to take class from some excellent instructors at the JCC, and this week I got to experience I dedicated indoor cycling studio, CycleBar. Arrival and Setup Signing up for this class was a breeze and reminded me of the way it works to see a movie these days. From their easy-to-use website, I was able to fill out my waiver, create a login, and select my desired day and time. From there, a seating map popped up with all bikes displayed, and my husband and I picked where we would like to be. Tuesday night, we pulled up 15 minutes early and immediately found the studio and parking lot with Google Maps as our guide. Walking in, we were greeted by a friendly and very helpful staff who pointed us in the direction of 2 iPads displaying a list of registered participants. Julian and I tapped our names, got a convenient reminder which bikes we picked, and were directed to look below for the corresponding cubby where our size of cycling shoes awaited us. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. The Studio Being a little early allowed us to look around the sleek and well-air conditioned lobby, which is decorated in an energizing black and red palate with inspiring photos and their slogan "Rock Your Ride." There are also soft, lightweight tanks you can pick up with that slogan and others for the full experience. Yours truly brought home "This is my Happy Hour," which is in keeping with the subtle bar themeing of CycleBar. Get it? Walking back along a modern hallway, there are 2 restrooms and 2 showers, all of which clean, inviting, private, and well appointed with essentials in case you forgot anything major at home. You can get pretty sweaty doing this, and I like to shower ASAP, so I like knowing that there is a good shower setup because there's lots of other cool stuff to do in the area after class. At the end of the hallway, there was a spacious and comfortable free locker area with keyless locks. It seems like a minor thing, but knowing my belongings are securely situated in a bin AND I don't need a key hanging off my wrist is a plus. In went my sneakers and on went my first pair of cycling shoes. They were ready to check fit and sizing on each of us. Alongside the lockers, taps of chilled or room temp water are available. Wait, it took until now for me to get the joke. Again, with the bar theme. Nice, guys! There were also some ear buds, if loud music isn't your thing, and some hair ties in case you forgot. I always seem to forget. OK, so it was finally time to actually go in. Here we go guys, cardio. I can do this. The first thing you see is the DJ booth setup where some of the controls are located. There's that theme again. I found that picking seats ahead of time streamlined the process at arrival and made me feel comfortable, eliminating the sometimes awkward process of comparing who would like to sit where, hoping not to get stuck somewhere I don't want to be, nor taking a bike someone else is used to having. I've seen it happen in some gyms. I found my bike to be perfectly set up, but a staff member, came over right away to check adjustments. My husband, who has also taken a dozen or so classes at the JCC, got started moving his seat and got help from a staff member. They oriented us to all the controls and pointed out two weighted bars that will be use during class. And we were set! The workout was intense but energizing and inspiring with a good mix of self meditation and competition. The instructor, Amanda, was extremely well prepared and make us work hard! read more

Being a cycle instructor myself and truly loving cycle I want to first start out by saying this review does not reflect the instructors (Amanda/Kelly). They were wonderful and if I could give 5 stars to them, I would, however this review is for the overall experience. When I arrived at 10:20 I wasn't treated how you think I would be treated with my first class. The person who I am assuming was the manager didn't great me with a "hello" but a "you were supposed to be here earlier." First, I did not receive any type of email saying please arrive at this time. So I assumed, it was ten min prior to class. So, first impression and my excitement for the class went significantly down. She continued to help me, but was very rude. Showed me a locker and then showed me into the room. I did not need help on the bike because I knew what I was doing. Secondly, most studios do not let customers use lockers due to covid, this facility did and I'm hoping they do clean them after each class. The class itself was fine, however, there is no way in heck I was 6' apart from the people next to me. I could easily reach out and touch the person in front, to me right and to my left. It made me feel quite uncomfortable, especially with the fans on. And third, which really is the icing and the rating how I am, the exit. The same manager asked me how I liked the class upon leaving. From her seat mind you, and I said it was good and I would "probably" come back. She continued to say "why probably"? And instead of getting up, talking memberships and thanking me for coming, she put her head down and said "well you can join for $5 a month if you want." It was so rude, she was so rude, I was extremely turned off. Now, more than ever customer service is so important and cyclebar missed the mark. Most likely will not return to this studio. read more

I love the music, the movement on the bike and I love how you can make it your own. I had never taken a spin class before I signed up for a free ride during Cyclebar's opening week promotion at the beginning of May. When I walked in that place, I was honestly terrified. Having heard how hard and intense spin can be, I didn't know if I was going to be able to hang. I made it through that first class and I have been going a few times every week ever since. Honestly, I love working out here and haven't had this much fun exercising ever. The price to purchase a package might seem a little high up front, but I think it's worth it. I love the themed rides they do (recently, they did a Lady Gaga vs Britney Spears class that was SO FUN) and the Wine Down Wednesday class is worth it for the wine and snacks after. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Started out really enjoying CycleBar, but the relationship has since turned completely sour. I had to cancel my membership for financial reasons, and learned that after you cancel your membership they continue to charge you for an additional month after the cancellation. I contacted their corporate office to learn more about this, and they were very kind and told the Polaris location to get in touch with me. The Polaris location told me there was nothing they could do, I would be charged an additional $139 for the month after my cancellation date, and my favorite part: They BLOCKED me on Instagram?!?!? What!!!! I've never seen such an absolutely unprofessional company in my entire life. I feel bad for the corporate office who has such a mess of a franchise under their name. BLOCKING a customer on Instagram because I had a question about the cancellation policy? I never once made my issue public until now, and never talked to the Polaris location via Instagram. Everything was via email. This mean they had to go out of their way to find my profile, and block it. Never go to CycleBar Polaris unless you want absolutely terrible customer service! read more

I have never been a sports person and I constantly look for new ways to exercise. When a friend told me about Cyclebar I went to my first free class and I was obsessed with it ever since. The whole CycleBar community is so supportive and makes working out so easy and fun. Cycling has been getting me results and I look forward to every class. Also if you are a student, teacher, etc then you get discounts on memberships, which is great! Extremely disappointed with Cyclebar Polaris. I have been going to Cyclebar Polaris for 3 years. Months ago I found out I was pregnant and I have been very sick. I haven't been able to go to Cyclebar since. I called to cancel my membership and they told me I still needed to pay for 2 more months (even though I can't even ride.) I didn't say anything and paid the $200 that I owed. Then I just got another charge for a total of $300. I called and the lady proceeded to tell me that I didn't come in to physically sign a paper so they were going to continue to charge me. I went in immediately to sign the paper and asked if she could refund me at least the last $100 that they charged me. Because at this point I have been paying for 3 months of Cyclebar yet I physically can't even ride (and they are well aware of that.) The lady was extremely rude, disrespectful and said she didn't care at all. I even sent in a separate email explaining everything and never heard back. It is very upsetting to be treated so badly when I have been a loyal member of Cyclebar for 3 years. I do not recommend, they only care about taking your money and not about you personally. read more
