Lauren was upfront and honest from the moment that I sat in her chair, explaining cost of the services that she recommended for me. I am laid-back about my hair, and tend to go into a salon with a "I trust you and what you think will look best on me" attitude, and in Bombshell's case, it worked. I stayed within my budget and left gorgeous, although I am concerned that my cut is a little more high-maintenance that I'm used to and that my flunky fingers won't be able to recreate the salon awesomeness at home. The salon is small and not fussily-decorated, and the music wasn't obnoxiously loud. If I could nudge my rating down 1/2 a star I would, but only for two minor things - I was never offered coffee or a drink (had to ask, and this was after being there an hour), and the chairs are too low at the stations to see into the mirrors that are hanging over too-high bureaus. Bombshell has a great, convenient location in the Monterrey's shopping center on 211, near the burgeoning area of medical offices and the new hospital, sure to continue to expand and increase client base, success, and customers in all the area businesses.

My stylist was not professional in anyway and everything about her made me uncomfortable. Her attire was an inappropriate dark romance shirt about submitting herself to explicit acts. In addition to this, the stylist's car, which is visible from the salon chair, is covered in inappropriate stickers related to these themes as well. I was forced to listen to thirst trap metal with bands such as Sleep Token, which has very explicit lyrics. I am terribly upset that I have to rewrite my original review and defend myself because the salon resorted to personal attacks rather than taking accountability for their staff. False Statements about your customers is not a professional approach for a business in 2026. ​I came in for a professional pastel pink hair service, which I did not receive. Instead, I left with hot magenta hair and dye stains all over my scalp that the salon refused to fix. Deflecting from a lack of technical skill by professing untrue claims about a customer's conduct is unprofessional. I stand by my original review: the color was wrong, the application was messy, and the management's response is unacceptable. I felt forced to only talk about inappropriate topics with my stylist because that was the only way she would talk to me. I would encourage any reader to steer clear of this salon.
