During my appointment, I felt very uncomfortable in my stylist's presence. At the time of my appointment, she only carried on a topic with me if it was about her favorite explicit adult fiction series. I tried to tell her I am on a reading hiatus and to switch subjects to something more appropriate, but she would either ignore me or start a conversation with someone else instead while I was in her chair. She described graphic, explicit scenes from the books, and I felt incredibly disrespected. , The owner's response claims that I made their stylist uncomfortable. That is not accurate. My stylist was not professional in anyway and everything about her made me uncomfortable. Her attire was an inappropriate dark romance shirt about submitting herself to explicit acts. " I vow, you vow, we vow " from the House of Lords Dark Romance book series. In addition to this, the stylist's car, which is visible from the salon chair, is covered in inappropriate stickers related to these themes as well. Lastly, she moved my appointment 3 hours later than scheduled because she overbooked herself, which resulted in me being alone with her and another staff member after salon closing hours.... I was forced to listen to thirst trap metal with bands such as Sleep Token, which has very explicit lyrics. I am terribly upset that I have to rewrite my original review and defend myself because the salon resorted to personal attacks rather than taking accountability for their staff. False Statements about your customers is not a professional approach for a business in 2026. ​I came in for a professional pastel pink hair service, which I did not receive. Instead, I left with hot magenta hair and dye stains all over my scalp that the salon refused to fix. Deflecting from a lack of technical skill by professing untrue claims about a customer's conduct is unprofessional. I stand by my original review: the color was wrong, the application was messy, and the management's response is unacceptable. I felt forced to only talk about inappropriate topics with my stylist because that was the only way she would talk to me. I would encourage any reader to steer clear of this salon. read more

So I have been getting my hair trimmed at Salon Pure for the past couple years. Before today the last time was May 11th. On that day I paid my usual $27 (plus tip) for a trim which normally takes 12-15 minutes. Today when I left the chair and got to the register the price before adding any tip was $52!! I assumed that they had made a mistake but both the cashiers assured me the price for my trim was correctly posted as Fifty-two dollars. I know prices are going up on most everything BUT - nearly doubling the price in 2 months seems to be outrageous. The cut was good but I'll be looking for other options going forward as $52 for a basic trim for males is beyond reasonable from my view. read more

I recently had a baby and I've been beyond stressed out. I've lost a ton of hair and the hair I did have left was so long and easily knotted that one day I decided to cut over 4 inches off myself. It feels like unless you're getting extensive/expensive color treatment or are besties with a stylist, they are uninterested in servicing you. Despite booking the most inclusive option for what was needed and tipping very generously, I was left feeling like my daughter and I were inconveniening the staff with questions about products being used (most of which were purchased at the recommendation) or even asking for stylist recommendations before having a solid vision of an end product. My cut, color and style was perfect. She was very kind and professional. She listened to what I wanted and executed it flawlessly. Other than her though, the atmosphere in the salon was very tense. The smiles were very fake (more like sneers). They all look miserable. No one talks to anyone, no one helps anyone, no eye contact... they look OVER you. The extensions look really rough, the Botox and fillers are on every face and somehow all of the faces are frozen bitchy. Why are they all so mean looking? I felt so uncomfortable, I do not want to return. Today was my first visit to Salon Pure. My first impression of the salon is that it is very modern, bright and roomy. All of the folks I interacted with were very friendly, from the manager to the front desk gal to the esthetician. I even talked to a couple customers about processes they were having done and they were super friendly as well. Good begets good. When I walked in for my 10:00 appointment I was offered coffee, tea or water. Nice touch. They have couches and comfy chairs you can sit in as well as a big ole table with benches set up in the kitchen area. Nadine has been doing my hair for years. She recently relocated to Salon Pure from another Aveda salon. When I thought I may have to find a new stylist, I freaked-momentarily. No worries. Today I had my regular color touch up and my annual Keratin Smoothing Treatment. Both processes went well, as I expected. Nadine has always treated me exceptionally well and she is extremely talented at what she does. She takes great care to make sure her clients are happy, comfortable and satisfied with her work. I took my daughter in for color and style. The color came out really nice but within a matter of days it had faded to almost nothing! My daughter only being 15 didn't say anything to me but I noticed it was faded like a whole lot. Finally after a week she say mom my colors like gone! Anyway she saved to have this color done and spent over 250.00!!! I called and spoke with Emily the manager of the salon. She was the rudest manager I've ever talked to. I'm a customer for over2yrs and I couldn't believe how rude she was to me. I wound up calling her a horrible manager and she hung up on me!!! What find of person hangs up on a customer! Kind you this is after they told me there's nothing they could do for me and I should of called them within a week if I had a problem! I went there for a cut and color. The color - I could have done a better job matching my hair if I had gotten a box kit at Target. It's the most dull, too dark color I have ever had. It looks so dyed and terrible! The cut is boring and the stylist did not listen to me at all. I didn't have a good feeling when I started talking to her and I should have walked out because she was practically arguing with me about my hair. I took my daughter to Salon Pure at her request, to have her hair done for her 16th birthday. She researched salons and followed Lauren on Instagram and decided she wanted her to color her hair. I was skeptical based on past experiences with salons and my best friend had a bad experience at Salon Pure, but she assured me this was all she wanted for her birthday and that Lauren and her had emailed and she was happy to have her color her hair. We arrived and salon is very pretty, lady at front desk asked if we wanted a water. First impression was ok. Lauren's assistant comes to get her and after 2 hours my daughter comes out crying. Her hair looked absolute same color and only difference was it is about 3 inches shorter. Haircut was not even part of why we came....ONLY color. Somehow Lauren talked her into the cut, telling her it was needed and would look better. It did not. It looked terrible. My daughter is still upset and Lauren knew she was upset and offered nothing to help. What kind of salon has someone who knows a client is visibly upset and not happy and doesn't offer to fix it? I understand that you can't make everyone happy but Lauren charges more than the other stylists and did a horrible job. She should have offered to fix it and she did nothing. I will tell everyone I know not to go here. Poor customer service and not worth $200. I didn't want my money back, but I do expect what we paid for. We could have gotten a better hair cut at Great Clips and that's sad. Don't waste your money here and if you must go, definitely don't see Lauren. read more

I used to drive to Midtown to get my hair done because I didn't think anyone in the Flowery Branch area would be as good. I finally tried them and found them better than my old stylist.
