My son is currently in 8th grade. He has been attending Carwise since 6th grade. It has offered him a safe and caring environment where he can learn and grow. He enjoys school and does not complain. He has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to take advanced courses and even high school level courses. This isn't something that private schools can easily offer because of the limitations of staff and class size (our experience). At Carwise he's in a classroom full of his peers taking advantage of the opportunity to take advanced classes. We have had the opportunity to meet with teachers and staff as well as nurse, the security officers, principal and counselors and they have all been very helpful and supportive. Having a son with a severe peanut allergy adds to the concerns of a parent and this school has been very good for our son and has put those concerns at ease. Our son also got involved in a team sport. It was fun and challenging. When we enrolled our son it was B rated. It has been an A rated school since. I do wish the car line moved faster. It lags and this is a minor drawback.

As part of this process, we had to complete a shadow day and purchase a uniform, which felt like a significant investment of time and money. During the shadow day, my daughter even made a friend, which made the denial even more disappointing. To add to the confusion, the school sent a questionnaire to a former teacher without sharing what specific questions were being asked or what comments were made about my child. This lack of transparency is quite strange. I honestly doubt that there was actual availability from the start. It feels misleading for schools to tell parents there are openings only to deny them after they've gone through all the required steps. I initially thought this experience was just our experience, but after discussing it in a local FB group, I discovered that several other parents have faced similar frustrations. It's clear that there are significant improvements needed in communication and the admissions process. There were several other red flags looking back now, but this was the gist of our experience.

It took a great deal of courage for him to speak up, and instead of taking his concerns seriously, the administration did the exact opposite. When I brought this to the principal's attention, I was met with excuses, dismissal, and a clear effort to minimize what my child experienced. Rather than investigating objectively, she essentially told me my son's perception was wrong and defended the teacher at every turn. As a parent, it felt like my child was being labeled a liar simply because it was more convenient for the school. To make matters worse, the school refused to move my son to a different class, forcing him to remain in an environment where he felt unsafe and unheard. This was incredibly damaging and showed a complete lack of concern for his emotional well-being. My son does not lie. He is intelligent, thoughtful, and had absolutely nothing to gain by telling me something so upsetting. The way this was handled showed a complete failure of leadership. A school should protect children first--not protect adults or sweep serious concerns under the rug. If your child ever comes to you with a difficult or uncomfortable truth, ask yourself whether this is a school that will stand with your family or silence your child. Based on our experience, I would not trust Dayspring Academy to do the right thing when it matters most.

They are wall to wall with the circle k. We went inside n let him signed up. They gave him some documents to fill and information the review before the test. While he went through his papers, there was a CDL class going on in the wait room. I learned what to check on the truck before i even try to operate it. Nice free class for when i am ready to take it. Waiting on my arm, i was going to transfer to truck yard at work before getting sick. It is so entertaining for me being offer free lessons in mechanical engineering or any mech tech stuff. Trucks are fun n dangerous but more fun if you know what your doing. Kid was introduced by his teacher. He checked up on me cuz i was flexing my arm. Gotta keep circulating blood through it or else it gets stiff. Everything was ok just tired. I let them do their class 1 on 1 so I don't make him nervous. Wanted him to have his space. I was entertained by the videos. He came back after a while all excited. Gave em a hell yeah bro highfive. Lol i broke character n thanked the staff for their kindness. After this i offer him to hit the DMV n thats where we went afterwards. Im pretty sure that my company may send me this way to learn the CDL. They have a huge area for their trucks and testing runs. I'd give them a check in the future if i ever decide to part ways with my company. The teach advance classes to n im very interested on those. Truck driving is on the bucket list.
