Because true to their name, they really did rescue me…read more --- --- --- I was heading to the grocery store and noticed that my low tire pressure light came on as I was backing out of the driveway, but that always happens in the cold weather, and it just so happened to be after a major cold front came in and I hadn't driven the car in a couple of days. So I ignored it and kept driving. Big mistake. I got a few miles down the road and started to hear the lovely sound of a shredded tire flopping around in the wind. I pulled over, and sure enough, my tire was cooked. Next step: utilize roadside assistance through my insurance. They quoted me 75-105 minutes. So I sat and I waited. 99 minutes later, I get a call that the provider was trying to call me, couldn't find me, and moved onto another job. None of this was true, but the important thing was they told me it would be an additional 90-120 minutes. No thanks. I just started calling around to every roadside company I could find on Yelp. I kept getting voicemail after voicemail. Until finally, Green Roadside Rescue picked up. He said he could get to me in about 40 minutes. 40 minutes later, he was there. And I don't think it took him more than 5 minutes to swap out the tire. It was the happiest I've ever been to spend $75, and not just because my insurance company will have to reimburse it. I wish I would have just called here first and definitely will do that next time.

I called Certified Towing since they had 5stars on Yelp, and Tom took care of us. He was able to dispatch a truck for us. It was rush hour, so from call to hookup, it took right at an hour to pick up the car, which is quite reasonable based on the breakdown location. It took me 15 minutes just to get there from down the street. David was our driver and he had a nice personality. Very friendly, professional and social. He also took care when hooking up the car, while I was busy blabbering. We didn't need a ride, but he double checked to make sure. If my wife had been alone, I'm sure she would have felt safe. After David left to take the car to our local shop, Tom conveniently took care of payment over text/digital services, and offered several payment methods.
