PART 1: Buckle up…read more I wanted to get a massage and my girlfriend tagged along. I found this place and it seemed too good to be true. $60 for a hour long massage. My girlfriend and I joked the entire drive there about us being kidnapped because it looked sketchy. Naturally both of our phones are dying and while we sort of know where we are, we still needed the GPS. We get there and there is no time to waste for these very nice but barely English speaking "massage therapists". We are immediately put into separate rooms, oddly the male masseuse goes in with my girlfriend and the female comes in with me. Here is our separate experiences. Her: 3/10 As someone who has had multiple back surgeries I was hoping to get to tell the masseuse the spots on my back to avoid. WRONG. I had also never gotten a massage before so I have no idea the correct amount of clothes to remove. I got some guidance from one of the other masseuses and got my body settled on the bed and my face settled into the paper towel covered (literally) face hole. It started off fine with a what I call "towel rub down". He asked how the pressure was and I said "lighter please" but he didn't understand that. Some parts were fine but most of this portion of the massage consisted of flinching and gritting my teeth as not to wince. Then comes the slimy part. The thin white sheet is pulled off of me and the un removable force that is pure baby oil is poured onto my back. It's at this point that the man receives a text message, which he promptly stops to respond to. He will do this a least 2 more times throughout the longest hour of my life. He then continues his assault on my back but this time slippery. Some parts are fine, mostly it's more flinching and pain because of the amount of pressure he was using. Truly if he had beat me to death with 50 lbs dumbbells it would have hurt less. When he gets down to my feet the strangest thing that could happen does. This man runs his nails down my feet. Insane right, to tickle a person you don't know. But he did and then laughed when I flinched. So now I'm thinking "oh this is a fetish thing" and begin thinking of the exact right word I could scream to my boyfriend in the other room to convey that I was in danger before being thrown into the back of a van. As I deep dive into my internal vocabulary pool, this man gets up and leaves the room. Don't worry guys, he left the door wide open so I wouldn't feel uncomfortable about being 90% naked in the room by myself. The buddy system is imperative at this facility. Again this is something that will occur multiple times throughout session. Later he tells me to flip and then comes back to ritualistically sacrifice me. He rubs my temples and then I shit you not, talks to the ceiling. I don't know what he said, but really does it matter? In the mostly quiet room, this man lifted his head and said something to the sky. Then moved on to the rest of my body, kind of. He tried to separate the bones in my hand like you would shred boiled chicken. He yanked each one of my fingers, but they refused to be removed from my hand so he gave up and moved on. He rubbed my feet, oddly the most relaxing part (which is odd because I am usually ticklish). That is, until he ran his nails up my feet again. Only the one foot and only one swipe. The black out curtain was pulled back then and suddenly the room was lit for the seventh circle of hell, the TSA pat down. My legs and thighs were smacked furiously in the afternoon light and then he promptly said "done" and left the room. There is truly so many other little anomalies that I experienced but this review is already long. Remember me, tell my story.
