My daughter is ecstatic to go to school everyday and absolutely adores her teachers. The director is absolutely wonderful and deeply cares for each baby-kid that attends. The school is safe and secure. So welcoming with artwork everywhere. Communication is always clear and exact

I just moved into the area and I have toured Daycares from Bartow - Winter Haven. Hope Creative was…read morethe first daycare i walked into and i instantly felt a sigh of relief. Everyone was friendly & welcoming. The facility is clean, secure and I have no doubt about my children's safety while they are there. I can tell staff makes an effort to not only know the students in their class, but every student and parent who walks through those doors. I genuinely feel like we are a part of a big family and I LOVE IT. I am so thankful that I found this daycare for my 2 & 4 year old. I know they are teaching the kids daily because the kids come home and always tell me about the new things they have learned and that makes me happy to know not just a daycare, but a learning facility. I would recommend this as THE BEST daycare in the area.... and i have toured 15 minimum. I have very high standards when it comes to where my children are cared for and Hope Creative checked every box. When you walk through those doors you can instantly see the time dedication and love they put into the center. 10/10. They also have an app so you get updates/ pictures throughout the day !!

I interviewed 12 preschools in my area before my best friend recommended Building Blocks to me. I…read morehave 2 boys (2 and 3) and I have been a stay at home mom since I was pregnant with my first. I have never left them with anyone outside of immediate family, and even then, there were a select few with strict privileges. I wasn't crazy about the busy location at first, however once I stepped inside- wow! They have put our kids learning at the forefront of their minds! They are allowed to play with slime, water, birdseed, paint.... everything I WANT my kids to play with but it's in a controlled environment so I don't have to worry about it destroying my house. ; ) They have lesson plans and meal plans (geared towards our kids and homemade ) and the sisters who run this facility, along with all of the teachers I have met, are top notch. I love their reasons for starting this daycare, i love their interactions with my shy children and I love the comfort level they give me as a parent leaving their child for the first time. I drive 53 mInutes a day to take my kids here, and I will do it every day to get this level of care!

I enrolled both of my kids at Building Blocks Academy for 5 days and that was clearly a mistake…read more The directors are rude, have zero understanding, and little to no technique for problem solving. Amani's teacher was discribed by my 4 year old as "mean". I came to the office this morning and expressed a concern about how his teacher actually spoke to ME. If this lady is talking to me in that tone or manner, as an adult that can speak clearly and intelligently, I can only imagine how she speaks to my son. None the less, never lost my cool, spoke to her in the same tone she spoke and walked to the office and told the director what happened. All owners, directors, and a worker, not only bypassed my concern but their attitude was so nonshalant about it. Even later said "well do we teach our kids that when someone is mean to you you are to be mean back?, you shouldn't have spoke to her like that back." Whaaaat? Sorry not sorry I teach them to treat people the way they treat you plus I pay you hun, you respect me and my child. I couldn't help but get upset. I left the kids to go home and look for other centers and not even an hour later, I get a call from ELC AND them saying they DE ENROLLED my kids and today would be their last day. In 5 days I saw a lot I didn't like, such as this morning in Damian's 2/3 year old class, there's a child with special needs on the lap of the assistant teacher, they were sitting on the floor but he kept throwing himself backwards, she was telling him to stop, but like with her teeth clinched, so when he didn't stop she plopped his legs off her, said "get off me" and grabbed another child to put on her lap. I was like wow... Told them that; surprise, surprise! they didn't care about that either. Ha. So now, I believe these teachers do what they want with your kids whether they enjoy their job or not and if they kiss enough ass they keep their jobs, if not they probably boot em. Hopeful that most of them like what they do... No idea, all I know is that if you don't mind people getting a little out of tone with you, talking to your kids in any kind of way they feel like or being disrespected then go for it. Does have a great ciriculum, however, this place handles situations way out of hand and has no respect for parents that pay in advance, has not been late once yet and is brand new to the place. Not to mention, I had to leave work early the other day because they didn't know how or couldn't figure out how to handle or console my 2 YEAR OLD. They seemed upset they had to stop what they were doing to help the teacher take care of him. Day 2, his teacher just threw him in a corner by himself after she thought I left because he was crying and when I came back down she looked spooked. I didn't even say anything at that point, I just tried to work with them so he would be better and not have to be dealt with in that manner. I'm so upset how today was handled. My kids were removed from their school because their teacher didn't know how to speak politely and then took offense when spoken to in the same manner. They said a parent was in the class, called to complain, but that's funny how did a parent call to complain when all kids were supposed to be there by 9am? No one was in front of me, no one was in the room, and no one was behind us. So they lied to ELC stating they had a parent complain and the whole class was terrified of me, but said to me when I mentioned I'd lose my voucher if I couldn't find a facility within the allotted period.. "I know and called with that thought in mind." .. Lovely, how petty. Everything happens for a reason I guess, but this place is horribly ran and will tell you all their reviews are for building blocks academy 2.... right. I BET they are, however all the bad reviews have your buildings picture on them or described the cypress garden center's exact mannerisms and behaviors. NEVER would I recommend this place.
