On a positive note, at this facility, the VPK program is great, as the preschool has an excellent VPK teacher that goes above and beyond for her students' safety and academics. However, I am appalled by the lack of professionalism among some teachers and the director arguing with other staff members in front of students and health professionals. Safety should be the number one priority when parents drop off their children. The preschool has more students than teachers causes the teachers to need to comply with the teacher/children ratio. Also, another safety precaution is to alleviate having teachers have their own children in their classrooms; this is a conflict of interest. For example, I witnessed a teacher taking toys away from another student to give to her grandchild. Due to a lack of cameras in the classrooms, a lack of classroom management, and a lack of staff, this preschool will not be a priority or a recommended facility to enroll your little one.

They don't want to discuss issues with you and try to work out disciplenary measures. One strike, you're out. Our kids were by no means perfect but after 3 years with a new daycare, and a grand total of ZERO suspensions, I think I can safely say that this was just lazy discipline on the part of the staff. They would constantly cancel outings with the kids, with no explanation as to why. When they did take them out, the kids would tell us that the driver would be talking and texting on her cell while driving. Who does that when the lives of a dozen children are in their hands? The kicker was when they decided to kick our oldest son out completely. That's fine. We may have not been in agreeance , but we understood that they were doing what they thought they had to do. That wasn't the huge problem. The problem was that we decided to find a new (and MUCH better) daycare to put all three kids into. When we told them we were pulling all 3, they asked if we could keep our youngest son with them (I guess they liked him the most or something). Who in the world would say yes to that? If you're in this area, looking for a place to put your kids, there's an awesome place VERY close to this one. I'd recommend stearing clear of Little Bloudhounds. Then again, it's been 3 years. Who knows? Maybe they're under new management by this point. I'm just in a Yelping mood today and saw that this place had no reviews and thought that was pity.

They move teachers around on a whim because parents complain and instead of training them or firing them, they just move them to be somebody else's problem. Don't be like us and put your kids here and then read all of the negative comments. Do not pay them in cash because they will swear you did not pay. They will charge YOU late fees because they have horrible bookkeeping practices. There is a good reason why this center always has vacancies. Stay away.
