He viewed our furniture swatches and room photos and knew exactly which pile of rugs to go to start the selection process. They have a huge selection!! The associates helping break down the large rug pile were eager to help. The showroom has enough empty floor place to allow viewing of many rugs at once. We selected 4 qty, 9x10 rugs to look at on the floor at the same time. It was fantastic! To top it off we were able to take our selected rug home for a 3 day trial period before the final purchase. We got a top quality rug that really sets our seating area apart from the room. I had a rug problem and Anwar at Cyrus came to my rescue! I had just moved and taken with me a favorite living room rug, inspired by a painting by Mondrian. It had been living on a hardwood floor but in the new place it needed to be placed upon carpeting, where it proceeded to bunch up and "pucker," even after I attempted to anchor it with my furniture. When I walked into Cyrus, it was like walking into a temple of unbelievably magnificent rugs! (I even saw one that reminded me of a Klimt painting!) Their collection is like none other and the quality is amazing. Cyrus knows his stuff! Once I saw the quality difference, I ended up spending more than I had originally intended. I'm hoping that the longevity makes up for the extra dollars. Obviously my belief is that it will (or I wouldn't have spent the extra $$). I have rarely been to a business where the professionalism has been at this level. Their willingness to go the extra mile to solve the needs of their customers is top notch. Cyrus has a large store with a very large collection. That collection includes modern and antique rugs, from Iran and several other localities. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I dealt mostly with Allison, the store manager. She was always available and helpful, through several visits. Once she had an idea of the styles I liked, she found many more possibilities through suppliers. She sent me images and we discussed those. When I had 6-8 final contenders, I made an appointment to return to the store. All my candidates were laid out where I could evaluate them.
