They give you calls as the process makes progress. The first appointment is where they come in and measure your kitchen Countertops using laser to get the accurate measurements. The technician came on time and was very professional. The next appointment is the actual installation. They gave me a call and gave a heads up that the since the stone was too large and if it didn't go in, they might have to take it back to their site, cut it and bring it back. I liked the fact that they gave me this heads up. We had 4 technicians come over to bring the stone inside and they were very thorough in their job. The final installation looks great! Showed them a sample of a countertop we liked (we brought it with us) and the guy - who never did even stand up from his desk - said "nope - don't have one like that" (it was white stone with a bit of gold veining - he didn't even suggest an alternative). Finally when we told him it was for a powder room project he told us that the minimum order was $800. At that point it was crystal clear that he wasn't interested in helping us - HUGE mistake walking in. Anyone with a smaller job should steer clear! It's really easy to see why more and more people go to the "Big Boxes" for things like this. Thankfully American Granite is 100 yard's away!

She said she totally understood why hated my current floor! Then she just started bringing me samples. I had my no pile, my maybe pile. I decided fairly quickly. They got the floor installed as per our timeline (which was pretty tight) and now five months later I can truly say-- I love this floor!

Until you are looking for a destination, you may not realize how close or where it is. Working in St Paul we have easily driven past Seestedt's a few hundred times going to work or Saints games. Anyhow we are considering remodeling our bathroom and based on my Yelpsearch, Seestedt's had some very solid reviews. Being that they are local and family owned are other key factors that we support. I had already done some research on their website to see what they had in stock. When we arrived we were greeted by Garrett and Clare. Garrett showed us to the area where they had their vinyl plank flooring. Seestedt's has carpet, vinyl plank and wood flooring and more. Garrett was very helpful answering our questions and explaining the benefits and different types of flooring we were looking for. We also learned that Seestedt's is in a historical building as we were shown the cut room where they used to cut the carpet decades ago. We were able to get a better idea of the colors we would like as this trip was more of information and check out the styles before we make our purchase. Seested's is also in the process of moving to a new location off of 94 and I believe White Bear Ave. They should be in their new location sometime between the end of this year or early 2019. Thanks to Garrett for his friendly and helpful information, we will be visiting again soon to either narrow our selections down or to purchase our flooring.
