I had the cylinder go bad in my 2004 Cadillac and it was stuck in my garage. I called Bob, the owner of Cy's, and he worked me in right away even though he's in Bend and I'm in Prineville. He worked fast and efficient and went above and beyond the call of duty. I would NOT hesitate to use him again even though he was 30 miles away. He's very reasonable. read more

I just purchased a new (used) vehicle, and I needed a spare key made. I searched "automotive key" on google for Bend and dialed the first one that came up which happened to be Cy's. Glen showed up within 30 minutes, and not only got me a copy of the key for my new vehicle, but created me a functioning key copy for my other car that I had taken to 2 other places to get a copy, unsuccessfully, and had all but given up. Fast, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and the best service I have ever gotten from a locksmith. 5 stars, and a 6 pack a beer are deserved for the job he's done! read more

When I called Cy's after 5pm because I was locked out of my garage, I was struck by his deep caring for my situation. His quick response even after 5pm, and his willingness to troubleshoot over the phone were heartening. Plus, There was a level of caring humanity that struck me. He even did some research to get information on my unusual lock type. I eventually found my key and didn't need the service call. But I will definitely call Cy's first next time I need a locksmith! read more

We required assistance with our house key in SunRiver. Google search brought us to Cy's Lock and Key. I spoke to Glen who was able to schedule us promptly. I was locked out of my apartment and called Cy. He arrived within 15 minutes. My lock turned out to be quite tricky and my dog was barking at him from this inside the entire time. Cy stuck with it and Got me into my apartment and reunited with my dog. Despite the complexity of the lockout being more than anticipated he charged me the quoted rate he gave me sight unseen over the phone. I appreciated his honesty and integrity and most of all getting me inside and reunited with my dog. read more

We used Cy's to re-key our new home after we purchased it. Once I told them I was a little uncomfortable taking the lock off the door myself (as well as leaving my home without a locked front door), they had no problem sending a tech the next day. While onsite, the tech pointed out an additional door and gate that should be re-keyed for safety reasons and was gracious enough to only charge me for one. He tested all the keys and the locks before leaving (including the spare key - which he made before I even thought to ask for one). Old fashioned service, timely techs, knowledgable staff - we will use them in the future for sure. read more

Couldn't ask for better. Locked my keys in my car with it running on a Saturday afternoon. They answered the phone right away, had a guy out to my house within 15 min. Took maybe 2 min to roll down my car window and unlock it, no damage to the car, for $40. Picked Cy's because they had the highest yelp rating among bend locksmiths. read more

I heard good things about this company. My experience was NOT good. Called 3 times before I could get a call back. Scheduled an appointment, waited all day, no one showed up, no call. Called back and still haven't heard why they didn't keep the appointment. Bad customer service. I will go elsewhere! read more

The driver's side lock on my '03 Honda Civic stopped working about 2 years after I bought the vehicle. I had brought my car to the dealership to fix it and they gave me an outrageous price. I lived with the broken lock for about 12 years until finally my wife told me I had to get it fixed. I was referred to Cy's by Happy Dane's, and couldn't be happier about it. Called on a Tuesday and Bob came to my house the next day to fix it right up, and for a 1/3 of what the dealership had quoted me. A+. read more

Bob and his wife, April came out to our home to rekey SEVERAL locks. They also made some repairs to handles, locks and doors. They did a great job. They were prompt, friendly, and the bill was less than I expected. Highly recommend. read more

If I could give Bob from Cy's Lock & Key 100 stars I would! Locksmith, Plus, inc tried to get a broken key out of our Subaru ignition for over an hour with no luck and we were faced with having our car towed to the Subaru Dealership. On a Sunday, Bob went out of his way and helped my son and got the broken key out of the ignition before the car was even off the tow truck, Wow...That's a skilled locksmith right there!!! Bob went above and beyond and even went and picked up my son and brought him back to his car. Came to Bend to get some things out of storage that we had put there over 3 years ago and the only person with a key happened to be all the way across the country. Called Bob on a Sunday and he was able to make a key for a more than reasonable price and meet me within 10 min! After meeting him he suggested he follow to assure the key worked...It didn't but he was able to open the lock and I was then able to purchase a new one for the unit. He showed up within 20min on a Sunday, unlocked our vehicle and advised us of some cheaper options to get a key remade. Great, great, great! I was having trouble getting my car key out of my ignition, and I was referred by a friend to Cy's Lock & Key. I left a message for Bob and immediately got a call back, and we made an appointment the next day. Bob came out to my house and repaired my ignition in less time than it would have taken to get my car to the auto repair. The best part was that it cost only $45.00! Called Bob and he told me a price over the phone, which I thought was more than fair. I locked my keys in my car for the second time in a month. The first time, I used some other lock company that charged an exorbitant amount. The next time I called Cy's Lock & Key. He charged me less than half the other co. charged, got to me in half the time, unlocked my car, and made me another key right there. He also didn't charge me for the key! Bob was super great to work with. We had an extremely difficult situation with a 2005 Crysler. Crysler themselves made it impossible for him to program the key.
